Recent stay (three nights) at Le Meridien was ... allright.
Staff -- seem not to be very motivated (compared to other hotels)
Express check out... Nothing prepared when I wanted to leave, wrong even with the business card attached
Carrot Juice -- on the menu for room service but not included in your 34Euro breakfast buffet.
I love music but if everywhere and allaround different sounds feels like noise.
Shower produced only lukewarm water, luckily this was fixed for the next day.
When I returned in the evenings the windows where open. WIth minus 5 outside the room was very cold even with the air cond on at 28 degrees. When I complained at the second evening I was told that I must have left it open...
Aggressive hotel driver approaching clients and telling me that Vienna taxis do not take credit cards... which most of them do...
I could continue. Next time - different hotel.

we have stayed in this hotel already several times, and always everything was good. However this time, ooops, we have claims. Two days the minibar was empty... Every morning there were sensitive problems with hot water... Thirdly, this time in the room was no iHome-station. I repeat, before isn't any problems. Maybe, this concrete separately located room is from a black list :-( OveralL Raiting (with written above) is Good :-)

I stay often at Le Meridien in Vienna. The John Harris Gym is nice, but the running/walking treadmills have a touch screen on them with a media center (including a tv) which is nice but the touch screen barely functions. It is nearly impossible to change the channel or adjust volume. This has been the case for over a year at least. These should be fixed or replaced. I am finally so tired of it I needed to complain.

Great location, most of the monuments that have to be seen in vienna are accessible by walking in 20 minutes!
I had the chance to stay in a beautiful and large room but classical ones are really small for the price. Beds are small (140 cm), windows cannot be open, it's quite stifling. Wood floors are spoiled, lots of footprints...I think the rooms would need to be done up.
The staff is great, very helpful and nice.

I have stayed n the room number 451. Unfortunately, there were noises coming from the door where the ironand hair dryer stay. It should be cheked whther something wrong with the hinges on he dor or somewhere else.

Rated 3 out of 5 by ThRo Nice hotel, but sometimes overwhelmed staff
Been on regular basis in the Le Meridien during the past few months. The rooms are good (some are quite far from the elevator and look upon a wall, but never been there too long anyways). Cleanliness is overall good - however the standards appear to differ from floor to floor (but the minimum is still good enough, so no complaints there).
The main issue in this hotel is in my view that the staff is slightly overwhelmed in moderate peaks. For example it regularly takes 5-10 minutes during breakfast to get a coffee. Also occasionally the waiting times at the reception are a bit long.
As a SPG Gold member you get a pack of manner to your room, which is a nice touch. The attached letter however is always the same, so it tends to get old after the 2nd stay.
All in all, it's ok but there is a certain gap to expectations for a five-star hotel claiming to be run by "Gastgeber aus Leidenschaft".

I had a great stay at Le Meridien Vienna recently. The room was bright and well designed with elegant touches. Nice shower facilities. Would do with some cotton buds though.
Lift music (no not so much music but chanting) in the morning is something the hotel could well do without. Also the lift could do with better lighting.
The staff were friendly in particular the staff that served the breakfast.

This hotel is fantastic. Very central location, beautiful stylish rooms and most of all attentive, friendly staff who have perfectly met my needs on every single visit to Vienna.
This is the first time I have been here with my family and they loved it as much as I do.
It was very hot while we were in Vienna and the room was beautifully cool. This is not always the case in Europe, so we really appreciated it.

Some rooms include open showers wich may cause a flood. We were upgraded because of this situation just on the first day (many thanks to Roman) but you should not offer this rooms without fixing this problem.
Nevertheless we enjoyed a lot the hotel and we loved our experience at the Le Meridien hotel in Vienna, as well as in other locations. Many thanks also to Katharina Grafl for her help during check out.

By far one of the best in Europe. Generally in Europe the hotels are crammed and they are stingy, though on an average you would pay pay more than anywhere else because of the Euro. However, they are still behind their own group hotels in Asia when compared to service, food, space, freebies like toiletteries. I ordered for food & had to follow up for it twice & got served after 1.5 hrs (1:15 am). same hotel

The staff are always fantastic. Helping to meet our requests much as possible, such as directions, early check-in, and a personal touch which makes one feel that they know who you are. The rooms are comfortable and clean with well positioned lighting. I found the hotel quiet such that I did not hear any hallway noise during evening hours. I have been to the hotel 5 times and will return next time again.

Not only is Le Meridien Vienna located in the absolute best and most convenient part of the city, the service and comfort of the hotel is outstanding. I am a platinum SPG member and this is by far one of the best properties I have had the pleasure to stay in. Beautiful, chic and modern decor combined with amazing service, generously sized rooms and an incredible Vichy style shower. In a word - perfect.

From the time we arrived to checking out we felt welcome! First time in Vienna ! Our porter pointed out places of interest on our map! All staff extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel for the location, comfort, food, we didn,t get to use the fitness centre, so can't comment on that. It was my husbands birthday so we were presented with champagne on ice, very nice touch!

The hotel is perfectly located near the most important visiting attractions of Vienna : Opera, The Royal Palace, St Stephen's Church, the Art Museum, plus the shopping area of Maria Hilfestrasse.
Excellent room, modern and quite sophisticated, great bathroom, nice and very polite service personnel.
I went with my mother, to enjoy the Christmas period in Vienna, and we stayed over the Xmas days also. We were very pleased to find in the room, on Xmas Eve, when we returned tired and cold from the 5 hrs walk in the city, cute red Santa Claus decorated slippers, and a nice assortment of cookies, as a gift from the hotel. It made us feel less sad that we were not at home with the family, and it gave us a real warmth feeling :). The lobby bar is also very nice,
So, although quite expensive, without forgetting that it's a 5 * hotel, I was impressed by the hotel, and I would highly recommend it !

Had an unfortunate incident our last night at the hotel, but in the end, the staff did everything within their capacity to make up for the shortcoming. We were treated very well and the concern the management showed us was exemplary. Accidents and incidents happen naturally and it's really about making things right that matter. So thanks; you can bet we remain loyal customers of Le Meridien Wien.

There is no bettter vantage point for enjoying Vienna. Each time we return, we have found even more to appreciate. The staff is exceptionally accommodating, cordial, and responsive. The upgraded fitness center Is excellent.

In a fantastic location, this hotel exceeded our expectations. The rooms were spacious and well appointed and the staff were very attentive. The general facilities are great - especially the gym and the pool and spa. The restaurant, Shambala, was first class with superb food and service to match. The general ambience of the hotel is very funky and I would happily return to Le Meridien Vienna.

I staied 4 nights in junior suite the size of the room is excellent but i face some problems wich is the light next to me when i stand up i hate it in my head twice wich is nearmis , also the lights behined me make alot of sounds and on off alot wich is scare my kids and my wife , this is my first time in lee merdian vienna and i feel upset and not fare to the amount i paied.

Le Meridien Vienna was an outstanding experience. From the check-in to the in-property facilities everything was wonderful. The location is perfect, in the heart of Vienna, steps away from the city center. The staff extremely helpful, always greeting you with a smile. And the hotel itself is one of a kind, from its posh and stylish decoration to the in room design layout. Worth staying!

Having been at this hotel quite a few times, I didn´t expect anything special beyond my already very good experience with this venue. Nevertheless, I was upgraded to a suite on the 7th floor with its own terrace and nice view over the city. The staff at Shambala Breakfast was very friendly and attentive, much appreciated.
Overall, an extremely nice stay and I´ll certainly come back !

Overall the Hotel is situated in a fantastic location. Staff for very customer focussed.
Specially our thanks to Laura in Bar who worked extremely well on her own sufficing all the guest in the bar area plus in the Restaurant and attending to the phone at all times with a smile on her face. Would recommend her for employee of the month if you have this programme within the hotel

We stayed for a few days at the Meridien in October 2012. The Queen size room was clean an comfortable. Breakfast had a great selection, even compared to other 4-5 star hotels that we have tried. Good spa/ fitness area. Great champagnebar with wonderful snacks, perfect for light lunch/ dinner. Great location close to sights and shopping, underground and tram close by as well.

beautiful, contemporay rooms in a central location an added bonus is the pool the staff is professional, very friendly and always more than happy to fulfill special requests my favorite room is one of the suites on the top floor with the lovely terrace
the outdoor restaurant is a real treat with excellent food great service and tango performances adding an unexpected surprise

Location is excellent. Interior design is appealing and stylish.
I received a complementary upgrade to a suite because of my platinum membership, however the upgrade suite was strongly smelling for smoke of the previous guest though the hotel is 100% non-smoking. That issue was apparently not treated properly by house keeping before offering the accomodation to new guests.

I couldn't of expected a better experience. The staff at Le Meridien were beyond exceptional. I was upgraded to a junior suite upon arrival. The room was phenomenal. Another great quality of the hotel is its location. Within walking distance of all the great sites in Vienna.
I'd stay again in a heartbeat!

Overall good experience - location is perfect for access to museums, opera house, Nachsmarkt - very central.
Staff okay, facilities modern, room good. The thing that we did not like the most was the shower - loved the modern, 2-head shower, hated that it was an open design that doesn't work. Bathroom fills with water, you have to deal with a pond after shower, not fun!

I had redeemed my SPG points in this hotel for 3 days; first of all, I had been asked to pay more for upgrade room since I have a child - then, I had been assigned to a room which have a weak internet signal - finally, I had been relocated to better room next day; however, it takes 7 hours to get my child bed moved to the new room - the room was not cleaned as expected.

I travel a lot for work, and go to many hotels including Meridien hotels around Europe. This one simply offers the best service I ever experienced: super friendly staff, calls answered straight away, follow up calls to make sure the request was satisfied, and really nice and tasty food served in the room. I have not tried the Spa/pool but hope to get back very soon.
