I find the Hotel has a good and central location. It is well known to Taxi's and other forms of transport alike. It is also easy to get transport from there to other places. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. As SPG P members the benefits are very good. Like the rooms and the lounge. All the staff are well trained, they are helpful and friendly. Pizza restaurant in Hotel is very good. The pool area is beautiful. Elevators work fast. We have high status at other good Hotels in Chiang Mai as well, but why look further, LM CNX offers good value for money. Had one special request to the GM and that was granted. We will be back. Well done, well serviced and well managed.

As a Platinum member I have stayed at several of the Starwood Hotels over the years. This Hotel makes me me believe that my Loyalty to Starwood does have its benefits. If ever I went into the Hotel business, I would want all my staff to be like theirs.
There are so many Hotels in Asia with staff that don't have the same respect for their guests as they did years ago, The Meridien Chiang Mai still has it. Hopefully they will never change. We had a wonderful experience.

Within walking distance to all the night markets, flower, fruit markets, laundromats, what else can you ask for! Room and water temps were consistent. Spa services were icing on cake! Complimentary coffee for 2 add a final touch to welcoming and valuing guest accommodations. Will return without a doubt.

Le Meridien can be considered the best hotel in Chiengmai now.
The only challenge Le Meridien has now is the comfort of the lobby bar area. The temperature is not too cold and it is inviting many mosquitoes.
Once this is addressed, I'm sure Le Meridien will be the undisputed best hotel in Chiengmai.

Spent 3 nights in this hotel with my family and we loved the services extended from the ground staff from the moment we entered this hotel. The staffs are always smiling sincerely and helped us as much as we they could. The concierge team was very efficient in arranging our trips as well. The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable plus bottled drinking water are replenish twice aday. Kudos to the all staff that made our stay memorable.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay here very much. From the moment we stepped out of the cab, we received a warm welcome from the GM (and some great restaurant suggestions) all the way down to the pool guy. Everyone was wonderful. The hotel is very nice as well and a fantastic value, given its location and the state of the hotel in general (very very nice). I don't understand why this is only rated as a category 2 hotel. I look forward to staying here on my next trip through Thailand.

Le Meridien in Chiang Mai was a great way to start off our vacation in Thailand. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the hotel's facilities were excellent from the restaurants and food to the fitness facility which my wife and I used regularly.

Le Meridien Chiang Mai hotel is good.
But some staff is low service to guest and Assitant Manager just cheat to me.
I think Hotel is very important to service, especially 5 star, Le Meridien. but this hotel manager and staff is too bad services and no responce about some ploblems.
Just neglect me and my wife so I disappointed this hotel and i couldn't recomment this hotel too.
I've stayed 60 nights for 6 months and 85 nights with my wife for 6 months in spg hotel and resort but i've got bad experience at first time.
I really really upset and disappointed about Assitant Manager's behavior and some staff's rude.

The location of the hotel is perfectly situated and for my husband and me its was easy to find our way around chiang Mai w great English speaking staff ready and available to help us. We stayed in 1036 and the room was very clean w a nice view. Bathroom was spacious w an amazing shower. The buffet was supplied w amazing food yet somehow was often cold? For breakfast and lunch? It was a very carefree and pleasant stay. I would highly recommend.

We recently stayed at the Le Meridien, Chiang Mai for 4 nights. The Hotel was everything we needed. It is located in the middle of the night market and several restaurants, so the location was ideal for our family of 4. We were able to get a corner room with a sitting room and an attached room for the kids (with twin beds) Having the suite arrangement contributed to our experience. I would highly recommend the configuration if you can afford the difference. My child got food poisening (Not from the hotel, we didn't have an opportunity to dine in) and the hotel staff was amazing. The manager went out of his way to attend to our every need. The staff is very attentive and welcomed us each time we entered the front door. This is an amazing hotel, I highly recommend it.

The hotel is in a good location with nice rooms and has a good breakfast spread. However, be prepared for rude staff. I stayed 5 nights and had to exchange my key card 4 times after I would get all the way to my room on the 20th floor to find it would not work. No one apologized, instead, said I must be deactivating it with a magnet. When I requested additional towels, I was accused of stealing some and then told I was limited on the number I could have. I have never been so shocked. I have stayed at many Starwood properties in Thailand and have never had this kind of poor service. The manager of the lobby restaurant was the only friendly helpful employee I encountered. I would not stay here again and most definitely will not recommend.

The hotel is rated as five star but I only can see it as a four star at best. The shower area has black mold in-between the tile and cracks in some areas. Also the "Rain" shower doesn't work at all. Bath towels are thin from a five star standard. The breakfast buffet needs better temperature control as most dishes are just warm. As SPG preferred member, my room was not in the "preferred guest" level.

I have stayed in many hotels in my lifetime. But staff at Le Meridien Chiang Mai are perhaps the most naturally helpful and friendly. They even correctly anticipated my needs! An example was my travel arrangement via bus to Chiang Rai. My wife and I eventually got into the 'VIP' bus in the afternoon, and the shuttle bus from Le Meridien Chinag Rai met us!
Location of Le Meridien Chiang Mai is close to the Night Bazaar, as well as the entertainment and eating venues. Indeed a strategic location.

the room is very comfortable and the hotel location locates just a corner Night Barzaar market and not far from all weekend market in Chaingmai, can be reach by TUK-TUK. However, I feel that hotel pool is too small.

We stayed here for 5 nights and really enjoyed our stay from the hotel it's self to all the staff was all very good we would stay here again our only gripe was not having free Internet this service you have to pay for but the hotel we stayed in Bangkok was a lower star rating but we got Internet free.
