Stayed here when we went to the Orpheum Theater, which is right across the street !! The room was quiet and very comfortable. The bathroom was huge with both a tub and a rain shower. And the staff seemed to be very concerned about our enjoyment. I'll be returning.

This was our first stay at Le Meridien so we didn't know what to expect. The uniqueness was refreshing. The location was great, well within walking distance for many interests. The bed was amazing. We would really like to know what type of feather top is on the bed. We believe the pillows are Down Lite 50/50. Overall, a terrific experience.

We came to Le Meridian to stay for our wedding night. The concierge was dealing with a disgruntled guest ahead of us and was very accommodating and professional. The check-in was a breeze! The blonde who checked us in noticed it was our wedding night and even sent us a gift! It made our night even more special. We will definitely be back.

This hotel never disappoints us. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom floors are heated! The location is great - right across the street from the Orpheum Theater. The front desk staff is always friendly and helpful.

Le Meridien in Minneapolis continues to be one of the top spots to stay when you are in the twin cities. Rooms are extremely comfortable, staff if extremely accommodating and location is great. Only negative is the tiny gym and no concierge lounge. If you are going to Minneapolis anytime soon i highly recommend this hotel.

I would have given 5 stars to the entire stay, had it not been for the location of my room next to the elevators and, worse, the door leading to the elevators. I went to sleep at 11PM and had my alarm set for 4:15 AM to make my morning flight home. I got maybe 3 hours of cumulative sleep- the door opened at least every hour and often, multiple times throughout each hour. Every time it opened and closed, it sounded like the wall would fall down, like the door was IN my room, inside an empty room making the loudest sound possible- the door is heavy with a very heavy push bar locking mechanism. SLAM BANG! Each time it was pushed open and KER-CHUNK! each time it swung and slammed closed. Imagine with 3 people following each other in and out, that's 6 times it would make the most jarringly loud sound. Now multiply that by all.night.long.
I could have saved myself and requested a move to a different room, which I'm sure would have been accommodated quickly. But, I would doze off only to be awoken again, and again, and again and then lo and behold it was 3AM and I thought it was pointless at that point.
SO, awesome hotel, great staff, we had an event, it was great, I've stayed here before and have been super pleased. My word to the wise is, NEVER LET THEM UPGRADE YOU TO THE 5TH FLOOR if its anywhere near room 510.

Spent a lot of time in the fitness room this last trip. The Treadmill and I became frien-emies. There is also a sampling of free weights, ellipticals and a bike. Lots of room to stretch and get what you need done.
My other favorite spot is the Bar. Inside or Out always a good time. Ross is fantastic. Ask him for a special creation or just stick with the Pararossa... the late night margarita pizza is something I look forward to on trips to the twin cities.
The bed is one of the most comfortable I've slept in. I love the space I have to spill out of my suitcase. Being a bigger guy, the large showers are wonderful. I do wish there was a little more room around the sink for my shaving kit, but I always seem to make due.
James at the front desk is great. Always seems to be on top of things, even when I make my odd and strange requests. Always happy to help, and usually pretty good with a joke if you need it.
All in all, this is one of those places I actually enjoy traveling too.

Felt immediately at home because of great staff! Everyone was very friendly and helpful "above and beyond" duty. Restaurant staff was fantastic also--great service and attitudes all around. Even though I am not a great tipper, they STILL treated me with outstanding courtesy and service.

Staff checking guests in and out, represents your hotel and sets the mood of your stay. My experience with checking in was horrible, he was rude and presented a desire to be anywhere but at work. The room was nice, but should be in complete working order when hosting guests. Room service was prompt.

We had a wonderful time. We called ahead to ask for an early arrival and the staff was great and got us in as soon as we arrived. The room was fantastic. The service was wonderful.

The hotel staff went above and beyond anything I could have asked for!! They took it upon THEMSELVES to place my newlywed son in the best room the hotel offered - as a gift to them. Le Meridien's generosity truly moved me to tears. I have NEVER experienced such fantastic customer relations!

staff was very friendly and very helpful. it was my birthday and they treated me like a real honorable guest. beautiful room decor and hotel lobby. the top floor suites are amazing I would highly recommend! the customer service there is truly impeccable. LOVED IT. WANT TO STAY AGAIN :)

it was nice but...
bathroom did not have enough counter space.
we were supposed to receive "goodie bags" upon arrival but didn't. Had to ask for the bag when we checked out. Would have never knew about the bag unless bride asked how we enjoyed it.
Bedding was wonderful. Great view.

We stayed here for our wedding, but I stayed there the night before. Not only were the staff helpful, but also were accommodating when we used their facilities to take photos for our bridal party. It was a great place, where we felt well taken care of and comfortable. Thank you!

My room had a broken shower. No hot water. After 3 days of asking, finally it was adjusted but not fixed. I was told the part was too expensive to stock and not to move the valve all the way to hot or it would fall off!
Restaurant closed, below average food being served.

We stayed at Le Meridian with a baby, which I don't think they have as a guest terrribly often, and it couldn't have been easier. The rooms were large enough that he could run around and treat it like home! Service was above and beyond anything we could have asked for!

This was by far one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in! Every single staff member that we encountered wanted to help us and was polite and accommodating. I cannot say enough about how nice they made our stay in Minneapolis. We will definitely stay here again!

Minneapolis has a number of great Starwood options, and this was my first stay at the Chambers. No Platinum upgrade, but hotel is small so that happens. Room was nice and spacious. No counter space in bathroom.
Fitness center is small but with good equipment.

I was so pleasantly surprised when I checked in to my room that I extended my stay for an additional day. The room was oversized, had a great work station, and the most comfortable bed and pillows. It was just an exceptional stay and I cannot wait to return.

Loved the room - very comfortable and quiet. I liked the Chambers cafe for breakfast - well prepared and prompt. Friendly and accommodating staff. Would definitely stay here again if in Minneapolis. Should be even better once the Marin restaurant is done.

I now frequent this SPG property in Minneapolis because of the great rooms, the affordable rates and the restaurant. The gym could use some updating but besides that, a gem in the heart of Minneapolis.

The room was beautiful. It was clean. Could use free wifi. The breakfast was good, but would have liked coffee pot in room or room service. The biggest issue was I'm guessing the pipes. Must be old building and I slept horribly due to all the noise.

This compact hotel in Le Meridien design is particularly remarkable for its numerous works of modern art dispersed all over the hotel. Our executive room was exceptionally well designed. The best of our most recent 30 stays at SPG properties.

My husband and I stayed at the Meridian because of its 5 star status and a show at the Orpheum theater across the street (we live about 5 miles away). We also wanted a luxurious night away from kids.
First, the bed was plush and extremely comfortable and was topped with the extra pillows; which, I requested, I'm 8.5 months pregnant.
Second, the room and bathroom were clean, and the bathroom floors are heated, which was a very nice home away from home feature.
Third, everyone at the front desk and in the bar and restaurant, were all quite friendly and my husband enjoyed his drinks at Marin.
HOWEVER, these are my cons:
First, the food from room service, which as I understand is made in the restaurant, was under seasoned/bland/tasteless. The chef seems to be trying too hard at originality, but should really focus on good taste.
Second, the food selections were minimal, I understand having a small contemporary menu but, more than one sandwich option after 11:30 pm would be nice. I dont know how hungry someone needs to be for a $27 turkey and avacado sandwich.
I recommend eating somewhere else or don't stay for the food service.
Third, the housecleaning staff began knocking at 10 am to clean (checkout is noon) and did this 3x total from 10-11:30am. Unnecessary! My husband and I were quite annoyed by this.
All in all, it was average, I expected much more: better food, more than 3 towels, a better view, and whatever happened to free coffee? I think I ate a small bag of $3.00 sunchips because the late night food options were terrible. I almost ate the $6.00 candy bar but couldn't justify it...... JUST, weigh your other options, there are a lot of hotels in the city.

Love the comfortable rooms and professional staff, the "art gallery" theme throughout the entire hotel, and the fabulous restaurant. Plus, the location is super convenient. I travel a lot and this is one of my all around favorites!

Nice boutique hotel. Quiet and trendy. Because the floors in the bathroom are heated, the room stayed too warm, so be aware. Other than that, it was excellent! I will go again.

My wife was in the wedding party and we used most of the hotel. Highlight was Marie in the bar stayed Friday night after she was cut to take care of us!! Staff was on top of everything. Great Weekend Great Stay .
