I'd like to start by thanking the hotel staff and especially the concierge for making my stay at Le Méridien Barcelona one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. I do not take those word lightly, as a world traveler and photographer I spend many days away from home indulging at some of the best hotels the world over. Immediately while on the premisses you are greeted and doors are opened whole heartedly. Staff member are courteous, and extremely helpful all the while maintaining complete professionalism. The concierge at this hotel was extremely helpful in answering my questions and my arrangement needs, and that will not be forgotten anytime soon. I had an opportunity to indulge myself for a 90 minute massage session following an exhausting day tramping all over the city which was a perfect end to my recent stay in Barcelona. The hotel is situated within close proximity to nearly all must see attraction in Barcelona; those that are not are but only few minutes away via taxi or bus.

I was very disapointed in my stay at this hotel. The hotel needs updating. It was very busy and too crowded. There was no coffeemaker or luggage rack in the room and they were never brought to room even after we called. Bed very uncomfortable and too low to ground. Concierge service below standards

Rooms are comfortable, however a little bit cold in the ambiance.

Our room was very spacious with loads of space for our suitcases, in the closets, on the counter top in the bathroom, etc. My friend and I were able to organize all our clothes & things on the first night and were able to live comfortably, without tripping over luggage, throughout our trip.

This hotel is perfect if you want to walk to places of interest (Ramblas 10 seconds; Gothic area 10-15 mins; Harbour 15 mins) or just a short taxi ride. Most of the rooms have been refurbished, which makes it a more modern experience whilst retaining the cultural feel.

Lovely hotel. I'm so glad I chose this hotel over the others in the area. Polite, well spoken, friendly and helpful staff, super comfy bed, crisp sheets, soft pillows, modern clean decor, great location... satisfying breakfast. I can't think of anything lacking. Would we return? most definitely!

Our first trip to Barcelona had another first: stay at Le Meridien..Bright, comfortable with highly trained staff who exceeded our expectations...Reception, housekeeping & restaurant personnel were very attentive, professional--they were awesome!..you can't go wrong if you stay there...thanks!

I was expecting that due to the Mobile World Congress, the staff would not be responsive and the hotel standards would fall.
However, I was very pleasantly surprised. Staff were great ! friendly, helpful and eveyrthing was simply perfect.
Food was also very good at the hotel.

The hotel was in a great location and exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in the Las Ramblas area of Barcelona. From the decor, the front desk staff, the restaurant, and the room - everything was awesome and made our trip very enjoyable.

Easy to get to from the airport by bus. Took great care to find the best rooms for our large family. Staff was willing to do anything possible to help us. I can only say good things about the staff.
There are two areas of the hotel - classic and newly renovated. We preferred the newer.

The hotel had a great vibe from arrival to departure. The loacation cannot be beat, the decor was extreemly well appointed and the staff was incredible from help with bags and storage to suggestions on what to do in the city. We had a wonderful stay and look forward to our next return!

The staff at the desk would not even recognize my platinum status. There were room upgrades available but they refused to upgrade unless you wanted to pay more. They did acknowledge an upgrade available the following day and than. It was no longer available. I would never stay again.

Le Meridien Barcelona is a fabulous hotel. The
rooms are spacious and so comfortable, the staff is the best and so helpful and friendly and the location cannot be beat for seeing the best sites in Barcelona and great restaurants near by. I highly recommend and will stay there again.

Hotel front desk seemed to be staffed by mostly trainee's when we arrived. We were mis-directed on one occasion and we couldn't get a clear answer to the airport's international check-in time. Please know, they wanted to help they just didn't have the experience or training.

I had a short 2 day trip to Barcelona and was pleasantly surprised by the professionalism of the staff, especially since I do not speak Spanish. I also requested an early check in due to an all night flight and my request was met without any issues. Great town, great hotel.

Located right in the midst of Las Ramblas, this is the place to stay if that is where you want to focus your visit. Rooms are a bit small but the hotel has nice public rooms, a gym, a pleasant restaurant and an excellent staff who will help you with all your needs.

The only problem we had was trying to figure out the lights, how to turn them off and on, which we were never able to. We just unplugged them at night. The heating was a bit confusing, but other than that our stay was most enjoyable, and your staff was excellent.

We stayed in the Junior Suite for 4 nights. Found the decor to be dated, and illumination levels inadequate. Staff were helpful and informative. The hotel lacked a pool. There was good security in the lobby.

This was our first visit to Barcelona and we wanted to stay in a convenient area so that we could have easy access to the metro, red and blue lines and all this beautiful city had to offer. This hotel not only met all our needs it excelled in all areas.

We experienced an initial maintenance problem during the first night of our stay. The staff rectified the problem and went out of their way to ensure that our stay was unaffected by any inconvenience we might have experenced.

The hotel is great and with excellent location. Staff is so friendly and rooms are big.
The restaurant is amazing and breakfast considered part of settings standard level of Meridian.
The hotel breeze is so refreshing after long walk in Rmablas.

This is our second stay at this property. The first was before a cruise and this most recent stay was post cruise. We enjoyed the spacious accommodations and amenities. We will definitely stay here again if the opportunity presents itself.

Loved our stay at the Le Meridien - the rooms were nice and updated. Very comfortable size and amenities. Great location just off La Rambla (near Barrio Gothic and the farmers market). Would stay here again in a minute.

This is our 2nd visit to the Le Meridien hotel in Barcelona. The location is perfect, and the hotel itself gorgeous. We were disappointed that our favorite concierge, Christian, was not there this time but hope to see him on our next visit.

One block away from Plaza Catalunya, over las Ramblas and minutes away from Gothic neighborhood and major Barcelona atractions. Staff is very accomodating and overall experience is just what you expect from SPG.
I'd strongly recommend it.

We stayed at this hotel from April 28 - May 4. The location is excellent, all sights are in walking distance. The room are very good as well.
Most importantly the staff is the best, they will go above and beyond to make the stay perfect.

The room promised for 3:00PM was not available until 5:00 PM. There was no advantage to being a Starwoods member. Most of the Reception Staff seemed to be Trainees. The whole check-in process was inefficient and annoyingly long.

this hotel and staff is certinally a five star hotel. Location is convient to all attractions and in the heart of all that is wonderful about Barcelona. I would definetially recommend it to any one going to this beautiful city.

The Hotel was perfect in all ways - especially for non Spanish speakers - all staff were excellent in their English in addition to performing their job in an excellent manner. Nothing was a problem. Very convenient location.
