Great welcome on arrival and check-in was the very very best. I think a warning that self park spaces may be full if returning late after Christmas mid night service. A little confusion upon our return but frony desk staff took care of situation admirably...

The staff uniformly, but especially the folks who park cars and the bell staff were excellent-friendly, competent and without a "tip me or else" attitude. They helped deal with an unfortunate elevator breakdown that lasted throughout the holiday weekend.

This recently updated hotel is located 10 minutes walk from the Santa Monica beach, about 15 minutes walk from the Pier. Lots of excellent restaurants nearby. Hotel services is excellent, free self-park parking garage, large rooms, and great value.

I stayed here with my wife and we were upgraded to a corner room with an ocean view. Absolutely gorgeous. The staff was very willing to help with anything we needed and did it willingly.

we checked in after midnight which was 2 hrs later from our time zone. They informed us that as a result of Disrupt LA a Tech Summit the hotel pool would not be available. Additionally, the hotel had become a Le Meridien from a Sheraton since our last stay in August and there was no longer a club room for breakfast for Gold and Platinum SPG members. Both the pool and the club breakfasts had become a treat for our grandchildrens' overnights at the hotel with us. we had no advance warning and were tired and extremely disappointed. We tried to change hotels to no avail. We asked to have the mgr call us the next morning. Hugo Bara, called promptly the next morning to say he had heard of the problem, saw we had stayed there several times and upgraded us to a Junior Suite with a private jacuzzi on the balcony overlooking to ocean! Also the night mgr gave uscoupons for free breakfast. We felt the staff truly understood how to treat repeat guests and showed more than a little appreciation for our Starwood loyalty. The entire staff especially Hugo Bara is well trained professional and extremely polite! Great spot!

I have stayed at the hotel under previous nameplates and it is still a nice place to stay that is out of the hustle and bustle.

We felt special to be SPG members. The room was specious and lovely. We had 2 people join us for drinks at the bar, dinner at the Cafe, and visit our room. They also had a lovely time and were impressed with the renovations.

We spent 4 nights at the Sheraton Hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is a great value. The hotel was clean and comfortable and has a very attentive staff.. It was a short walk to the beach and other local attractions.

A very mediocre facility, shabby and needs updating, key machine did not work, had to come back and wait in long line for a key, stuck in elevator on Monday for 10 minutes, really a dismal place with uncaring staff.

While our stay at the Sheraton Delfina was not horrible, it was far from what I have come to expect of the Starwood brand. First, the main elevator was broken and the stairwell didn't actually connect to the lobby making getting around the hotel difficult. When we first checked in, the front desk clerk sent us to the wrong room, so obviously our keys did not work and then when a manager came to assist us, he actually tried to put us into a room where another guest was already staying. Also, we had received two packages at the hotel during our stay and the staff only delivered one of the two. The other, we had to ask for repeatedly, and then I had to walk down the stairs to retrieve it because the staff was "busy". Finally, we were staying there for a wedding and the bride had delivered Welcome Bags to the hotel with information about the events of the weekend in them. The staff did not provide the welcome bags to most of the guests staying at the hotel for the wedding and we were only able to get our Welcome Bag after negotiating with the front desk clerk to receive it.

It is two and half blocks away from the beach. The hotel is nice.
However, the Wi-Fi is not stable and one side of the sidewalk is under construction so it is a bit inconvenient.
The breakfast is a bit pricy.

Where do I start?. From the moment we walked in, the key system had been blown out with an outage. How that can happen in this day in age, I could not know. Did anyone think of a backup generator!! Because of this, we never had a room key and had to be escorted to our room everytime we left the room, etc. The problme with this is that you had to hunt someone down to take you up to your room, you also could not get into the healthclub, etc. You felt imprisoned in the hotel. They did not have enough people working to cover this issue for both days that we were there. We could not wait to leave the place. The room was not in very good working order, the tiolet did not work well and the temperature control was off. To top if off, we I checked out, I was not even asked how my stay was. When I asked the person why he did not ask the question "How as your stay?" He just said I forgot to ask, but still did not ask. I told him anyway and he just shrugged his shoulders and had no response. I would have expected some kind o compensation for this horrid experience. No one seemed to care.

I need to be in Santa Monica but do not need to be near the beach. I can walk into the downtown area but am still closer to where I need to be for my purposes. Personnel are great -- parking can be an issue.

While our stay was short we found that for almost $600 our room wasn't that great. The beds were very uncomfortable. The jacuzzi was broken and the early check - in but an hour after regular check in time.

This was a really nice hotel. It's beautiful and the staff couldn't have been nicer. The pool is great(and heated!), the hotel is nice to look at and the location is perfect for what we needed.

The hotel is great but the people are what makes this hotel the best. Jimmy, Gary, DJ and Ashley were always smiling and treated us more like family then hotel guests.

Well located hotel in Santa Monica just 4 blocks from the beach. Modern and with very comfortable beds. One of the few hotels in Santa Monica that allows self parking at no charge too.

The room was adjacent to a night club and heard loud music most of the night. Heard people talking with our adjoining room situation and some of the noises were intimate in nature.

I found the hotel delightful and the staff extremely warm and helpful. The entire hotel has been renovated and is clean, modern and fun. The beds were fantastic.
