Rated 2 out of 5 by Found Some points needed to be improved The most disappointing experience in Starwood hotel ever. In le merdian Cairo, unfortunately I would have to say that I could not enjoy the stay. That was a little disappointing compared to my several stays in Starwood group hotel. Since I had a good experience in le merdian Cambodia two years ago, I chose le merdian Brand in Cairo as well but I cannot say that was good decision at all. First of all, I had to wait for more than 20 minutes without any care from staff right in front of the counter before my check-in. I can understand the hotel was quite popular and all of the staff were busy but that was the first experience among my stay in Starwood hotels. If I could be told that I should be waiting for some time, me perception would have been improved. Secondly, the accommodation was less than expected. Lots of the amenities are missing, such as tooth brush & paste, shampoo, Slippers, bathrobe, hair dryer, etc. In addition, some trash on the floor and a long hair on the bathroom room... I expected the room clean would be completed more perfectly. Lastly, the reaction from the supervisor was desperate. When I requested her to clean up the room, she said "So what do you want us to do?". That was the worst reaction I could ever imagined. I would expect more proactive and gentle hospitality. I do not believe all those were Starwood's standard quality of service, but I cannot recommend this hotel to either my friend nor my family at all. I hope that the hotel will reconsider about staff training and all of staff should learn to understand the quality of service and do their best effort as soon as possible. October 10, 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Le Meridien Pyramids - My Experience I was in Cairo, EG on a Business Trip as I work with an International Company. I am an SPG Platinum member and hence chose to stay at Le Meridien Pyramids Hotel. I was staying in one of the best rooms that the hotel could provide. The room overlooked the Great Wonder of the World - The GIZA Pyramids. Whilst there were no issues with the cleanliness, food and the property itself... the staff responsiveness definitely needs improvement (Bell desk, House Keeping, Room Service, Guest Service, Front Desk etc). The hotel has an amazing swimming pool, restaurants and a sheesha bar which I enjoyed !! Based on the cost that I paid for all these facilities, I would say it was definitely good value for money. Even though the Staff responsivenss wasn't great the overall standard of the hotel and the exceptional service from the Duty Manager Mr. Ahmed & Front Desk Executive Mr. Khalid was second to none, they were excellent in dealing with my issues and making sure they were addressed. It is for them that I will certainly be staying here again !!! Thanks guys... way to go :) September 29, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by too sad to waste my vacation time there So many mistakes. Housekeepers remove the power key and take it, when I'm back to my room I found everything down, and I have to get a new key, even when I asked them not to do this. Security team are so disorganized. They took from me my driving license and next day somebody else told me they don't have it, so I had to reissue a new one for $150. Two days later somebody else found it. The meridian never took any responsibility on this situation :(( other than threatened that poor employee, this action is so unprofessional :(( The security team is so unprofessional and rude, when I was leaving they stopped me to park the car in the front of the main door to load my luggages and they were too aggressive :(((( even if the parking for loading luggages is allowed. The coffee taste was too bad, they mix Turkish and the American way to make the coffee :( May 31, 2016

Rated 4 out of 5 by Another stay at this hotel Yet another stay at this hotel. What can be improved is the bedding. The pillows and duvets are not very comfortable. I would like to say thanks to one person in particular, Saad, who drove me to work every day and made my stay a much more pleasant one. March 4, 2016
