As a regular at Le Meridien Heliopolis, I was shocked with the quality of food offered at the breakfast buffet. Not only was the display quite poor, the food itself was inedible and poorly prepared. I hope that in the future Le Meridien will address this pressing issue.

The hotel was nice, and the food good but not every morning the same quality.
The overall impression of the hotel was to be clean, but the windows in the room and in the breakfast room a little neglected. The pool seemed bigger from the pictures on the hotel site.
Great place to be anyway!

In fact ,my booking was 3 rooms with transportation from airport .Also,i contacted regarding this issue before i arrive but in the airport the driver tell me transportation only to Le meridian airport .when he checked found extra charge not approve from SPG website.The hotel need improvment.

First, the bathroom has a bunch of hair at the stopper in the bathtub. This is ridiculous from a Starwood property. The staffs are unfriendly. Secondly, i made my bookings through online which is lower rate from my colleague booking through phones. End up i am paying the same rate with my colleague. What is the point of booking online with my SPG member which mentioned that i will get the best rate. Thirdly, the heater in the room is not workable. Fourthly, the staffs requesting for tips. It might be a culture that staffs will receive tips from guest. But asking tips is a really ridiculous scenario for me.

The staff on the royal club are wonderful.
They are smiling all the time, motivated to work and do their best to make guest comfort.
The staff respond to my need fast and efficient.
The shuttle driver is very professional, they help me to transfer my luggage to and from the airport cart.
The food was good except the bread and pastery were not covered in breakfast.

I was staying at the Le Méridien Heliopolis on 10th April 2013. My stay was offered by Egypt Air, which boasts itself as a Star Alliance Member. The name Le Méridien Heliopolis in itself is a niche but to my dismay i was terribly effected by the hospitality showcased by most of the staff. The 1st experience at the reception itself was tragic which was followed by the rude addressing of your staff at the restaurant & things followed similarly. Few of the staff was good & co-operative but lacked politeness tremendously. The food was good & i relished it, but we were not there for eating. Rooms were stinking, there was no drinking water in the room which again is a big turn off as back at my place i.e. Mumbai (India) we feel blessed to serve water to guests.
I travel around the globe & with the grace of Almighty i have stayed at the most prestigious hotels including Le Meredien & they had all made my stay memorable. I dont know when i will visit Cairo next but i will surely advice all my associates & friends visiting there to avoid being at the Le Méridien Heliopolis.
