Rated 2 out of 5 by decrepid hotel Hotel is old and many building features malfunction and room amenities broken. while the hotel was generally clean, the age of the building and musty smell throughout did not contribute to a pleasant stay experience. February 27, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Hotel is run down and service needs to improve Hotel room was scruffy and urgently needs refurbishment. There was no help available to inron my business suits at night for the morning. There was no recognition initially for me being a gold member. November 11, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Much better We arrived very late at the Meridien. The check in was ok. The Spg Platinium and gold office was closed. We have to ask for a upgrade as we are platinium member. We have been assign a room on the 5th floor wish is the spg floor member. No suite or anything really different from the gold member. The room was ok. But it' was late. We asked for a extra bed in the room which arrived pretty quick for the Méridien. Less than 20mn. We had breakfast the next day. Good standard breakfast with lot of choose. We check out at the spg assign desk. The lady who did our check out Geraldine was very friendly. We had a nice talk with her. She wanted to be sure that everything went fine for us. This Meridien is ok. But need to improve the room comfort. January 6, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Nightmare during 2 days No water for two days. No air conditionning April 2, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by This hotel is a threat to your brand The keys I received the first time around, did not work. I had to come down, wait at the check in queue again and be given a new room. This time I was given a room that was exactly the way it was when the last guest left. As a bonus the airconditioning didn't work and stayed that way for my stay inspite of my complaining and a technician coming to take a look at it. The next morning, at breakfast I had to eat at a dirty table because the staff couldn't be bothered to clean it. When I book to stay at Le Meridien hotel I expect a basic level of cleanliness and functionality. That trust has unfortunately been breached. I will think twice before booking at a Le Meridien hotel that I am unfamiliar with, in the future. May 30, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by The staff of the hotel are very helpful The personnel is very professional and proactive, as demonstrated by Odile, from the SPG front desk. January 13, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by The staff of this is very helpful The personel of this hotel has been doing a good job to assist, namely Odile, who takes care of SPG members January 13, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by This hotel is very poor value for money I booked on line at one rate but when I reached the hotel the check in charged me 25% more - I complained and he shrugged. I got a better response when checking out. I stayed on the 1st floor - it is filthy, the carpets are dirty, there are cigarette burns everywhere, the corridor lights are missing. My room was not serviced on the first day. There were mosquitoes in the room, no mosquito net supplied. For this kind of price and a name like Meridien - I expect much much better. Breakfast service is patchy: poor on first morning, good on second. July 1, 2014
