I arrived from South Africa and was assigned a room for the night. I was a little disappointed that the staff member facilitating the booking gave no recognition to my SPG membership, however being tired and frustrated by the travel delays, I had no energy to fight but since the check in process was efficient, I did not see any point in making a fuss. The next morning, after a lovely breakfast, I decided to take the matter up and was referred to the guest service manager who was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He epitomises customer care and focus and ensured that he firstly apologised, acknowledged the mistake and then proceeded to identify several room choices on the SPG floor for me to choose from. He mentioned that the hotel was very busy and that a huge contingent of guests were arriving (I guessed it was the football team) but nevertheless, he took the time and made me feel as welcome and comfortable as possible! Once satisfied with my choice, he organised the room transfer, my luggage and even sent me a complimentary fruit basket, so a true gentleman, clearly maintaining the very high standards of the hotel and customer satisfaction. The guest services manager also kept in contact with me throughout my stay by sending me SMS and Emails. This extraordinary behaviour from guest services manager and his team, has endeared me to your hotel and I will not hesitate to recommend your services to my colleagues and associates.

I know it's Africa, but it's a rich African country. The hotel is very expensive, comparable to those in Boston, and doesn't offer as much. During my stay, not only did the key card get demagnetized a couple of times, but the lock on the door itself died completely, so the technician had to physically remove the door to let me enter the room. He promised that the door would be fixed the next day but it wasn't, and I had to change the room, after the technician removed the door completely for the second time. Also, when I checked in, I asked the receptionist if the breakfast was included in the price of the room, and she said yes. I also checked at the restaurant if the breakfast was included, and she said yes. But when I checked out, the breakfast was billed. At over $30 per day for 2 weeks, that's a lot of money. I complained to the general manager, who couldn't care less. He said the receptionist made a mistake, which is only normal for human beings, but I have to pay unless I had something in writing. I've been traveling all over the world for a very long time, and I don't think I've ever been treated quite this poorly at a hotel where I am paying over $200 a night. Service was erratic too. Some staff (the technician who removed the door, the doorman, the cleaning lady and the sales manager) were really nice and friendly, and others (most of the receptionist, restaurant crew, and the general manager) were surly and downright rude. I will never stay at this hotel if I can help it.

The Hotel is a great place to spend time both for business and relaxation. Located by the Sea Coast, guests are able to view the sea from most of the rooms. Guest have 2 Options for Dinner - in the main restaurant or outside by the Pool sharing the fence with the sea thus giving guest who have selected this option an opportunity to (i) enjoy the breeze straight from the sea (ii) watch the waves from the sea spash water safely into the yard through safety holes in the fence and make a choice of how their food should be cooked. Guest should not be surprised with some delays in meeting some requests.

I have to commend your effort in keeping the rooms clean. I am asthmatic and often avoid carpets. But your carpets were clean and did not irritate me. Thank you.
You will need to improve some of the furnishing though. I stayed in Room 360. The room was adequate. But, the side board covering the bath tub has rotted away. It looks nasty. Please replace it.

It was very great to receive the attention of all staft, starting from the entrance with the welcome of Mister Rodolf, and continue by the front desk until the room... Honestly is the type of hotel we want to find in our busines or pleasure trip..

This hotel is one of that can really use category 4 class.
Staff is very professional and available despite a few omissions times. insstant but it is served with a smile.
A real gem in the heart of Libreville in the city center, ideal for shopping and other nightlife.
Do not hesitate to go.

I am happy to see that some amount of progress can be seen this time around. Please continue to move up the ladder as competition in the hospitality sector in Libreville is becoming aggressive.

The hotel team is vey mench attending & friendly. Just one point, the toaster for the bearkfast does not work any more (only 2 rows out of the toal are functionning).
