My wife and me stayed at le meridien for four overnights. The first impression of the hotel was absolutly great - we had the luck to met the (famous!) portier Said! He gave us immediatly the feeling to be on holiday. Very friendly and always with a warm and honest smile, it was every time a pleasure to speak with him. He took care for us, asking where we wanted to go and gave a lot of good information about prices and places. Unforgetable are also the arabic lessons - choukran!
I would be unfair not to speak about an second person which stands for the special atmosphere at this hotel - it is the consierge Mr. Youssef. If further guest come to the Meridien, don't be shy to ask for help. Okay, to get help from the consierge at a hotel is standard - but in our case we had all the time quick and professional results (car rental).
As selforganizer of a our trip to marroc, we recognized to late which good and honest help the staff ot the hotel could provide. For example, if you arrive by plane, inform the hotel that they should sent a taxi driver to airport- you will save a lot of dirhams...
All the other unknown staffmembers have done their jobs really good. The man at the pool who opens all the the time with a smile on the lipps the paraplui for us! Our the roomservice which decorated the bed with a nice arrangements with roses.
The hotel was clean, the room new and with good TV and HiFi Equipment. The beds have been really good!!! The pool area and espacilly the huge garden gave us a really good enviroment to relax. We didn't have breakfast and didn't went to the spa.

Ecellent location , close to the old cemter. Wonderful garden at the size of a citypark. Attractive swimmingpool, nonheated but nevertheless (at 18 degree celcius in february) an opportunity for a refreshing swimming experience. Well-eguipped haman with services. Good airport accesibility; turistic hop-on hop-off bus stop in front of the hotel.

After a few really busy weeks, I really needed to relax. Le Meridien N'Fis was the best choice to do it. This hotel offers everything what I wanted: friendly, very helpful staff; comfy room; delicious food and beautiful garden. What really surprised me was the quality of service. Really high.
A very pleasant surprise - General manager was almost everywhere: in the morning during breakfast, afternoon welcoming the guests as well as in the evening at the bar. This hotel is really well managed.
Some useful information:
1. the hotel is located only 3 km from the airport, you do not need to take a taxi from the airport, just taka bus 19 (the bus stop is on the left outside the main building), it costs only 30 dinars ($4) and stops right at the hotel.
2. historical center (Medina) is just two kilometers away from the hotel, it is worth to walk because it passes through the lovely garden. Of course you can also go by taxi, it costs around 30 dinars, but you must set the price before driving.
3. Eat your breakfast at the hotel. Delicious omelettes and a large selection of local cuisine.
I think this is the longest review I've ever written:) But this hotel is worth it!

Some remarks: WIFI in the room often with line cuts. In most hotel chain, Wifi is free after giving some personal info.
Card to enter rooms require many trials before door opening.

This hotel is very well operated. The staff are accommodating, the food is excellent, the service is high quality and the experience is like no other.
I am hard pressed to complain about anything as this is a quality hotel with a management team that is only concerned about the comfort of its guests. Mathieu and Esde take great care of their guests and I appreciate it very much. I am returning in a week and I know I can expect the same quality of service.

We received incredible service from everybody in the hotel. The front desk staff did their up-most to accommodate all our needs, they were fantastic, specially Fatima who I must commend on her extraordinary customer service skills.

I traveled with my wife and two children. We booked online via Starwood two non-smoking rooms with swimming pool view. We arrived at the hotel at 9 PM after a one day trip with a 5 hour transit at the airport of Casablanca, so we were really tired. Upon arrival, we were told that there were no rooms with swimming pool view and we were given two smoking rooms with garden view which we declined. The rooms were dark and smelt smoke and moisture. After long negotiations (they did not even give us refreshments!) we had two non-smoking rooms but still with garden view, which we accepted because we just wanted to sleep. Alas one of the rooms did not open and we had to wait an additional half an hour to have the lock fixed. The problem was recurrent during our eight days stay. No complimentary mineral water or fruits in the rooms. The service, from so many areas of the hotel falls way below expectations. The hotel is dated, so were the rooms. The safe storage box in the wardrobe did not work, I called the reception and it took half an hour to see someone coming. In fact the safe was not out service, it was just so old that the number pads were extremely well-used and unresponsive when touched, you really need to make an effort to type your code. The staff member who came to fix it clearly showed me that he was unhappy because I disturbed him for nothing! I really had to apologize! This is what we call SERVICE. Otherwise, the bed was comfortable and the bathrooms fine.
The Breakfast Buffet Battle:
As we had had full day excursions away from Marrakech during the first three days, we had our breakfast at 7.30 and everything was OK. But, the following days we went to the restaurant at 9.30 and it was quite impossible to find a table that has been cleared from the previous occupant. The staff does not care, except one young lady who was a trainee. One day we had to clean ourselves a table and find knives, forks, spoons and cups. By the time we sat, there was almost nothing to eat or drink!
Biggest disappointment: when checking out, I checked the invoice and much to my surprise I found that I was charged five local telephone calls (two to Marrakech and three to Casablanca) which were made between 2 PM and 3 PM on the second day of our stay during which we were on a full day excursion to Essaouira! I called the Duty Manager and told him that we did not make those calls and asked him to cancel the telephone charge. He did not accept and said that no one else than the guest can use the telephone. I told him that I was having lunch in Essaouira when the telephone calls were made from my room and I showed him the Travel Agency’s invoice for the excursion as well as the restaurant’s lunch invoice. He was surprised and had nothing to say. He just asked me not to speak loud because the other guests in the lobby might hear me! He did not even apologize! He just asked the cashier to cancel the telephone charge. Is this what we should expect from a 5 star hotel? Time for Starwood to make a decision.

The concierge Joseph a real find.The advice and help he provided eased our path imeasurably.As a platinum member it takes a lot to impress me
This stay was over the top from in house reservations to check out.
