Rated 5 out of 5 by Le meridien - more than a hotel My wife and me stayed at le meridien for four overnights. The first impression of the hotel was absolutly great - we had the luck to met the (famous!) portier Said! He gave us immediatly the feeling to be on holiday. Very friendly and always with a warm and honest smile, it was every time a pleasure to speak with him. He took care for us, asking where we wanted to go and gave a lot of good information about prices and places. Unforgetable are also the arabic lessons - choukran! I would be unfair not to speak about an second person which stands for the special atmosphere at this hotel - it is the consierge Mr. Youssef. If further guest come to the Meridien, don't be shy to ask for help. Okay, to get help from the consierge at a hotel is standard - but in our case we had all the time quick and professional results (car rental). As selforganizer of a our trip to marroc, we recognized to late which good and honest help the staff ot the hotel could provide. For example, if you arrive by plane, inform the hotel that they should sent a taxi driver to airport- you will save a lot of dirhams... All the other unknown staffmembers have done their jobs really good. The man at the pool who opens all the the time with a smile on the lipps the paraplui for us! Our the roomservice which decorated the bed with a nice arrangements with roses. The hotel was clean, the room new and with good TV and HiFi Equipment. The beds have been really good!!! The pool area and espacilly the huge garden gave us a really good enviroment to relax. We didn't have breakfast and didn't went to the spa. June 14, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Hospitality! Upon arrival I was warmly welcomed by the staff. The hotel staff was friendly and professional. The location is excellent, walking distance from Menara Mall. Meals are very good and delicious. Beautiful gardens and a lovely pool area. My room was spacious and clean. Highly recommend this hotel in Marrakesh. September 25, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by there are serious hygienic problems There are serious hygienic problems and less comfortable suits and old bathroom with bath curtain and toilets and dirty towels September 24, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Needs a big refresh As a le meridien branded property we were expecting a much nicer hotel. On the plus aide, the staff was very friendly with prompt service. The hotel is in dire need of an update (looks beatup). Rugs, towels and tiles look and feel dirty. In the room the shower head was crusty from water build up. We were happy to move to a nicer/cleaner Riad in the medina after one night. September 19, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best option, great stay in Marrakesh Our family just spent two wonderful days at LeMeridien N'Fis. All the staff was extremely friendly and went out of the way to assist and please with everything. In advance of our stay I contacted the Concierge Mr. Youssef by mail, who responded immediately arranged and confirmed costs for meet and greet pickup at Marrakesh airport and local tours including a Spanish speaking guide as requested. Costs for the services were very reasonable, below what our travel agent had offered. Mr. Youssef also arranged for dinner at a very enjoyable local Moroccan restaurant away from the tourist area including return taxi pickup, so we had no concerns about getting back to the hotel late in the evening. Mouna at the reception was exceptional, friendly and helpful. Breakfast offered was wonderful, don't miss trying the freshly made to order Morrocan pancakes. The hotel is perfectly located less than 50 meters from Menara shopping mall, which has shops, restaurants and a Carrefour Market. Hope to return soon! August 15, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wow - Amazing Experience! I spend a lot of nights in hotels and most of those in Starwood Hotel and this was one of my all time best experiences in a hotel. The Platinum recognition was superb, upgraded to a suite with a welcome and assistance throughout the stay you rarely find these days anywhere no matter where you stay! The level of service really was off the chart and way above anything you could expect, then when you consider the cost of actually staying here and you realise just how good an experience it is! The star of the show is Mr. Youseff the concierge who nothing is to much trouble and arranged meals along with taxi's that pick you up on the way back as well (which is when you paid). Every suggestion he made was great and many of them were last minute but never felt like it was any trouble to them! All the staff were great, the doorman was great with some excellent tips when going out to explore and always a smile and friendly greeting upon return! I am generally not easily impressed and spend a lot of time staying at hotels that you would assume are for more luxurious than this so I was apprehensive before arriving here but within minutes of arriving that had all gone and will most definitely be returning, it is a great place! Rated 5 out of 5 by Le Meridien N'Fis My wife and I spent an enjoyable three nights at the Le Meridien N’Fis in Merrakech this week. We had a lot to learn about Marrakech, and this hotel was the ideal setting for learning the ways of the area. Older, high end hotels in Marrakech have a distinct advantage architecturally because they were built when detailing was affordable and the Moroccan style is well represented. The brickwork at this hotel is amazing. The gardens are mature and give the hotel an oasis like feel. Pools set into the gardens were a necessity for us as the temperatures during the day reached 106 deg. F. Our Moroccan education came from the concierge staff however, Youssef Manxxx in particular. He knew everything about the town, its people and lifestyle, and surrounding areas. More often than not in a hotel, the advice of the concierge is marginal because they never quite understand the interests of the guests. We found in Marrakech that every suggestion made, were those we would have planned ourselves had we known the area. The attention we received from the staff at the hotel practically made us feel like we were the only guests there. June 12, 2016
