This hotel is consistently falling in standards.
Restuarants are never ready on time. Still setting up well after opening. Food quality poor, mainly all local with a couple of foreign dishes which are either over or under cooked. They need to go see how it should be done by visiting the 4 points in Lagos.
TV system. Has 30 channels. This time they excelled themselves and had 14 working which reduced to only 4 working and one of these was the spg channel. Nobody cares. Picture is either too bright, too dark, too loud, too soft and is consistently not available. When I complained I was told...we are working on it. Yes, you have been for over a year and still no improvement.
SPG members not recognized having to ask for a decent room and having to request our privileges.

The quality of the account settlement using credit cards needs to improve. Not sure if it is network problems or what but it is definitely not my card.
Machines accepting payment on one day and then not the next.
I have had the card checked by the bank and there are no hindrances. It only happens at LeMeridien Hotel in PHC.
I suggest that you consider a "Theme" for a presentation in the Restaurant.
Monday - Italian
Tuesday - Seafood,
Wednesday - Meat Lovers,
Thursday - Chinese,
Friday - International.
Saturday - French,
Sunday - Mexican.
or something like this.
At the moment it is a standard al a carte menu of the same Buffet presentation.

I am impressed with the installation on ironing boards and Pressing iron in every room. It gives guest the liberty to do ironing themselves if they want to.

This Hotel merits my five star award without any reservations. From arrival to departure, service and care was uninterruptedly unparalleled.
Security was at its premium, and staff appeared to take great pride in their jobs, always willing to cheerfully assist their guests. I enjoyed the cleanliness of the room, and the comfy nature of the bed. I certainly will choose this Hotel on my next visit. The only down side was with the recognition of my spg status. Staff appear to have little training on how this works. However, after some dialogue, my check-out extension request was granted at no extra cost. This is a great place for those who care about class and distinction.
