If you are going to visit the Hong Kong famous attraction, this hotel is definately not for you because it is far away from the city center. The hotel do provide the shuttle service but it is not free. It is better to take the mini bus at the bus terminal just next to the hotel which is 10 times cheaper. But somehow you might waste your time waiting for the next bus schedule. And if you are plan to hanging out after 11, the taxi is the only option you can get back to hotel.

Had another pleasant dining experience at the Chinese restaurant (Nam Fong) in the hotel. The only thing is that I wish the lighting was a little brighter.

What I love about this hotel is that even after over a year of not staying there, they still remember me, my last name, and all the things i do in HKG. Simply great! Kodus to Benny (who is now in a different Staro Property)..But wow...talk about feeling like long time friends or something....Yes it's in Cyberport but it's not too far away from LanKwai Fong for clubbing.
Only negative side is that they only have 2 suites. I have been only upgraded 2X before...but have to admit, it's b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l (the suites that is).

Stayed here twice already as very impressive overall.
1.Location: Next to the bus terminal,so convenient to go downtown. No need to stay downtown as you can be relax at the hotel.
2.Room: Nice room with nice sea view,
3.Breakfast: Worth your money with good quality, variety of food.
4.Attentive Staffs: Whatever you need just ask them.
Just one error they forgot to release my credit card after I paid with another credit until I have to call SPG after came back home 2 weeks later.

This is my fifth stay so far this year at LM Cyberport and finally got upgraded to 1 of their 2 suites.
As usual, all their staffs are very attentive and even when my suite wasnt ready when I checked in at 1030 AM, they let me stay in a smart room so I can rest and until the suite was ready.
great value compared to other starwood properties in HKG.

I had a great stay I dont stay at this hotel as much as I would like to but every time I am here it is very good. The service was top notch the restaurants here are very good. Located in a very quiet setting good to come home to after a busy day in Hong Kong.

What I like about this hotel is that every time I check in at 10 AM, I don't have to wait for long for my room to be ready.
But Nam Fong Restaurant has one of the BEST dim sums I have ever tasted. Always eat there for lunch just to try em out. Plats get 30% off too at the restaurants and recently, even for room service.

This hotel is a long ways from anywhere. The only way to get to Central Hong Kong is to take a long bus ride, take the hotel van (for which there is a charge) or take a taxi. But if you get an ocean view, the view is spectacular. You see frequent cargo ships passing by close to the hotel, outlying islands in the background, and the sunset.
The rooms are modern and comfortable, and the staff aims to please. There are a few restaurants within walking distance, but the hotel restaurant is very good. There is a nice breakfast buffet, and the dinner, although not cheap is very good.
Not much to do here unless you have business nearby, but a very nice place to get away from things and relax for a couple of days.

I like the very nice and cozy swimming pool there.
I slept on the floor in my upgraded room as they don't have enough rollaway beds. But it was my bad that I didn't request one.
Restaurant has good food but lack of choice at room service menu.

The person who checked me in was clueless, they knew nothing about SPG levels. They were so good, they made me forget i was in a hotel part of the SPG program.
My room change request was acted upon quickly but was put on a 'non spg' floor, i wonder if there's any diff in spg and non spy rooms, they looked the same to me!!
The phone operator reminded me that I'm entitled to a free gift and could get free internet instead of paying for it!!
The bathroom stank all 3 days i was there, told them, nothing happened.
Internet connection was dismal!!

I stayed at the Cyberport Le Meridien hotel from July through mid-August this year (2014) on business with my wife.
I would like to compliment the outstanding job the manager Jacky did during our stay. He was able to address every concern, question and request professionally. When he was on duty he always welcomed us warmly and asked if there was anything he could assist with. He made our stay extraordinarily comfortable, we would definitely come back. In addition I would like to commend Annie the room service staff, as she was always very accomodating on additional requests and provided extra value to our stay there.

As usual staffs here are very attentive and welcoming. The friendly staffs experiences makes me come back on a regular basis.
Platinum Members also get complimentary alcohol/non-alcohol beverages at PSI bar from 4 PM to 11 PM (or 1130 PM?). Great way to save money.
Curious though on the exact policy regarding 30% discount for room service. Sometimes you get the discount, sometimes you don't. Operator always has to call front desk to inquire about the 30% off room service every time I order.

Instead of a service flat in Mid-levels for a long-term stay we decided to move to Le Meridien. It got more space and outdoor park for my 4 year old daughter to play in. It worked really well with the parking underneath the hotel to and from school. Playroon across the street and a big scooter park outside. The pool was good and room-service worked really well. Was missing some more Asian option such as Thai fried noodles, Penang curries etc. My daughter love noodles but it seemed we could only get the wonton noodles:-((( For me I was missing some more healthy options at the breakfast buffet such as strawberry in season, flaxseed etc. I just brought in my own flaxseed's and staff was nice to serve me some strawberries or blueberries if I asked.I found the soft drinks and ice tea to pricy for lunch and dinner though. But in overall we had a really good stay.

Far from hustle and bustle of HK city, this hotel offers a quiet moment fronting the sea. So if you need a quiet moment, this hotel is a good choice. Otherwise, it is not a very convenient place and not near shopping and amenities.
Breakfast buffet is not bad of what we normally expect from LM.
I would pick this hotel only if shopping in HK is not a priority to me. Otherwise, it has been a relaxing experience.

I really just love staying at the Le Meridien Hong Kong. I love this hotel. Always welcomed by the staff.
A great breakfast and really good room service. The food arrives hot which is great.
The hotel is always relaxing and I always get a great nights sleep.
I would like on my thanks to everyone at the hotel. I look forward to returning to the hotel very soon.

I've been staying at this property on and off since 2009 and keep in mind that this property has only 2 suites...So don't expect to be upgraded to one (In fact over my numerous stays there, I've only been upgraded to their HUGE suites twice only). If you get a suite upgrade, then good on you as it has the greatest views ever of the sea.
For Platinum Guests PROS:
- complimentary 2 pairs shoe shine or 2 suits pressing
-complimentary buffet breakfast
-complimentary drinks and snacks at PSI bar on 4th floor
-And the typical platinum benefits you'd normally get on any starwood property
-And yes, complimentary shuttle service from HKG central to hotel.
-And the pillows now are soft and fluffy. Way back when, it was those blue VERY hard pillows, so it's all good now.
- So far away! And nothing much to do in the surrounding area. Taxi cost would be 80 HKD$ per way from HKG Central Express to hotel if you cant wait for the hourly shuttle service.

Hong Kong is a busy city. I live in Hong Kong and sometimes it's nice to get away from the hustle and bustle. I will occasionally book a room here, swim in the pool (during the summer), catch a movie at Cyberport, and take a "mini vacation" without having to fly anywhere. The place is clean and the staff is friendly and responsive.

The staff are very friendly and the rooms fantastically spacious for a HK hotel.
They have molten chocolate cake on the menu and that is worth the trip alone.

I stayed for 3 nights in the Deluxe Ocean View. The room has a decent size, especially for HK standards. The view was simply the best to unwind after a long work day. Quality of sleep would have been excellent if not for the typhoon.
One thing that stands out is the visible effort from most of the hotel staff to give good service. In one instance, there was a mistake in the room service order, staff were apologetic and quick to resolve.
The location is good if you have to be in Cyberport, other than that food choice is limited and average.

Although it's quite far from a city center,
a shuttle running from the hotel to the city center for free was very helpful.
The room was comfortable and breakfast
was not bad.
The only thing I was disappointed is
a concierge service.
The staff was unkind and he was not
responding while I was talking to him.
When I asked him of Tour Bus, he serched
the internet without any words and then
gave me just printed papers. He looked upset.
I have stayed a lot of starwood hotels, but
this is the worst experience I had ever.
People in the front desk are very nice.
I'm talking about the guy standing at the concierge service desk only.
I do hope that the hotel recognize what's
happening at the concierge service desk.

We stayed at a Deluxe Suite. They had an "allergy-free" certification for the room which feels really good. Though the hotel was busy for the days we were in (many wedding receptions), they were able to maintain their services in the highest standard. The staff we met, including bell man, duty manager, engineer, restaurant staff (especially Alan at Prompt, Chris at Umami), receptionists are very friendly and helpful! We will definitely be back!

Back again usually I come here once every 4 or 5 times to Hong Kong but know I coming here regularly. Just love how quite it is here a little out of the way but still just a treat quite and peaceful good restaurants bar and pool really liken it. Oh yes the water views amazing.

This is my first stay in a Le Méridien property. My experience was just average.
Although the location is a little bit remote, it's fine for me as I drove there. However, it gave me a feeing that the hotel want to hide the information of complementary parkng. The info was not clearly shown on website and the staff tried to avoid my enquiry about that.
Room was fine. I supposed I didn't get an upgrade as an SPG Gold, not even to SPG floor. But the size of my room is fine and it was neat. However bathroom was not cleaned properly. I found a piece of long hair in the bathroom when I first enter the room. Also I couldn't feel how "smart" the "Smart Room" is.
Check in/out was efficient, but the staff was a bit cool. I couldn't feel I was welcomed.

Hotel is a good 15-20 min. cab ride from Central so pretty far off the beaten path (no real shopping or amenities nearby). Rooms did not match what was pictured on the website- flooring, bathrooms and furniture was old and worn. I am a platinum member and had to "ask" for a room upgrade- it was not offered upon check in. Check-in had no one working the Starwood preferred desk so I had to wait in a longish line. I think it is overpriced for the locatoin and value. I will not be staying there again.

In July 2011, we took the opportunity of visiting our daughter and her family who have lived in Cyberport for the past 4 years. This was our first stay at Le Meridien and we found everything about the hotel was first class. The restaurant choices were great,staff were friendly and attentive to our needs, our room was spacious with wonderful views of the South China Sea and the overall facilities of the hotel were great. We spent 16 days at Le Meridien and will certainly stay there on our next visit to Hongkong.

We took the shuttle bus from Airport express station which runs every hour and arrived at 545pm at the hotel. Check-in was smooth with the check-in staff giving us a piece of paper outlining the benefits of SPG Platinum at this hotel, which are great. unfortunately no upgraded room was available, but we got one on the highest level of the hotel, so the view was not bad.
Breakfast was good, when the restaurant is not busy, also staff works well. On one day of the stay the restaurant was quite busy, then staff could not cope well with the rush.
The rooms are nice, but a bit small, but guess this is HK. Well maintained.
Bar on the 4th floor is quite nice with good music (DVD).
It is a bit away from the hustle and bustle of HK, but you can reach Central in 15min by cab or Shuttlebus ( which is not FOC).
Overall a good stay

Rated 5 out of 5 Wonderful Cyberport
Everytime my family travels we always use Starwood Hotels and Cyberport really exceeded my expectations. From the time we checked-in til our last day, we were very happy because staff are very helpful and accommodating. DIstance from the city centre doesn't matter at all. I highly recommend this hotel and definitely will stay here again when we come back to HK.
