Rated 4 out of 5 by Recent stay in Kochi Staff attentiveness is excellent and cannot be faulted, I do feel that more can be done around the poolside area during days/weekends to make this area more comfortable, that said this is a very minor point and I am glad to say I always feel welcome and at home at this hotel November 12, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Traditional Indian Welcome.... I enjoyed my stay at this fantastic hotel. It was a nice way to ease back into a busy schedule after a relaxing holiday in neighbouring kerala. The staff were good and helpful and the hotel grounds were well maintained. I got a traditional Indian welcome, and then an upgrade to a suite which was a welcomed surprise. I felt very special indeed. I look forward to returning soon. Thank you so much for a restful stay. March 3, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Really Good Hotel Hotel has a good ambience and art corridor is something i haven't seen in other hotels and resorts. this property is highly recommendable for families as well as couples. plus:- Ambience, highly responsive staff, spacious bed and bathrooms, and best part is there restaurant superb staff and food. Negative:- Nothing really, could have increased the quality of toiletries. October 8, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Very comfortable stay. We stayed for 3 nights in July 2012 in a deluxe room. The staff needs special mention, and was very helpful and courteous throughout our stay. The rooms are nice and spacious with lot of natural light and backwater view. The dining experience is outstanding with a special mention of treasure trove restaurant. It has an excellent buffet. The staff is very polished and helpful. However, the quality of tv sets is below par and cable quality is very bad. There are very few channels on tv. I definitely expected a much better show on this front. The bathrooms are just about allright and they can do better than that in decor. However, bathroom fittings are nice and user friendly. Overall, except for Television and cable quality, I would rate the hotel and its staff very highly. August 1, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Pleasant experience Nice spacious rooms. I travelled with my family that included my 11 month old baby. Sufficient space for her to walk around and throw things! The lawn, play area for kids and the backwaters provide an ideal setting for relaxation. They've maintained their property neatly and hence contributed to the feel good factor after the stay. Rated 3 out of 5 by Avoid the hotel during functions Happened to stay at the hotel on business trip but there was a wedding function in the lawn. The quality of service was the lowest I experienced at a SPG hotel. Was in the club lounge before the happy hours. I asked for coffee, the staff said the machine was not working. Asked for Nescafé and hot water. Hot water served was light yellow colour! The staff did not even notice it. Later during the happy hour, the used plates were lying around...took a while to clear them. Went down for dinner to the restaurant. Was sitting at the table for almost 20 minutes before someone came and poured water into glass without even asking, and then another 20 minutes for someone to come by and ask what I wanted. I ordered a chicken biryani and it took some time for them to serve. 1 hour 10 minutes in the restaurant with no sight of food I left. Quality of service far far below SPG standards.
