It's very pleasant to stay at Le Meridien Hotel, mainly it's near from Halliburton Pune Office, the hotel also nice.

Very old and needs a lot of renovation . Good breakfast but not up to the standard. No fresh juice on breakfast.

Well, the hotel from the outside did met the expectations. However, as soon as you arrive the security staff at the front puts you back and they look at you as if they are doing some favours to you for opening the door. The reception staff at the front desk, there is always one person and three assistants which are just peeping in the computer screen and not much of a help. The main person (easily identifiable with black jacket) has no real command over English. At my arrival, although my booking was for Club package which had airport collect/drop off, the car took 45 minutes to reach there. And, that too they had send 1 car to collect two guests. The reception staff (Rohan) referred to me by my first name, which is not really expected towards the guest, whereas I prefer to be called with some respect. Again, they have a tendency of treating different background people differently, not relating to who is staying where....or each guest as a superior guest. When I went to the T floor (pool-terrace area) in the evening for a meal, I asked the staff that what sort of food they served,and in reply I was asked a question (what food you want)! and when I said I was one person, he replied let me see...and off he went to see...and never came back. Infact he started to interact with other guests without checking...so I finally moved out.
The morning breakfast, the staff again the same with the level of English to a very poor standards. The level of tea/coffee was really not up to the standard I expected from a 5 star status. The happy hours/club lounge, there was only 1 staff serving, and the food/snacks to go with drink was of poor taste and standards - not much of a choice, and when I asked for some peanuts they didnt had any!.
The internet/wife charges are very expensive around at 700Rs + service charge....which wonders what they do in terms of service that they charge me service charges....its wifi set up and that too I do it myself.
Overall, I wouldnt rate this hotel at all, as there was no real experience for me which makes me to rate this place.
