The staying facility is best in class. Staff was highly co-operative and patient. Gave me enough time to search for an address proof and helped in all the ways by giving an Internet access facility free of cost.
However, I was little disappointed with the food in dinner. The 'Masala Dosa' was said to be a light lunch but turned out quite heavy with two pancakes. Also the taste was little more oily than it should.
Caused some discomfort and could not sleep well but this may not be related to the food.
The room quality and facilities are fantastic. (Just a minor: Shaving kit doesn't have shaving brush?!?)

I do not have much time to critic hotel service. This time is because they do not register my stays.
they miss one stay of my total 2 stays.
I feel they do not like to answer your spg right and local information. Maybe through the way, you can rely more on their charged service, like car service, etc.

I was stayed 2 days in this hotel for business meeting. In general hotel staffs were polite and greet me as a guest. overall my stay was comfortable. even though hotel is going through renovation, hotel has taken care the precaution to minimize guest discomfort over noise and dust. I hope my next trip will see a brand new Le Meridien again. good job!

Le Meridien is quite dated now without having the graceful elegance of older Bangalore hotels like Windsor Manor Sheraton or Taj West End. The staff members are excellent and have been continuously improving immensely since many years I have been visiting this hotel. I only have the best accolades for its staff.
However, the worst part was the IT outsourcing. Though the first IT professional I spoke with was quite courteous, the subsequent ones were clueless. They had a rule of using only 3 devices at a time, but they registered 5 devices of mine while I had only 4 (2 mobiles, an ipad and a notebook). Of the 4, I started with 1 mobile and then switched off mobile data and used the 2nd mobile only. this was registered as 4 devices while at any given point of time, there were only 2, max 3 devices being used. The logic given to me was that their system already logged in 5 devices (the issue was MAC addresses, which they didnt know. The calculations should be simultaneous use and not alternating use). So I was incorrectly charged for an extra day. I then changed the room. 3 days later, when I was checking my browser, it registered a different room number and same password! I quickly shut down my laptop. I was immediately charged for 1 hour!
While I have no problems paying for wifi, I did not feel nice about the whole episode. Just for this last episode, I am afraid I would not not recommend this hotel. However, because of its staff, you can consider staying here, but ban its internet facilities.
Unfortunately, a single bad episode can mar a good experience in its entirety. That is the problem with hospitality sector.

Really enjoyed staying at Le Meridien, Bangalore, India. Before making the reservations, I was quite hesitant since there were zero reviews for all the properties in Bangalore. We gave ourselves a chance at LM and pleasantly surprised with the amount of hospitality we received.
1. SPG Platinum status was highly recognized
2. Received Complimentary breakfast plus 500 amenity points for C+P redemption
3. Complimentary shuttle to the airport, which is 33 kms to the hotel
4. Breakfast buffet was awesome - many Indian/international items
5. Staffs were too polite - everyone knows their job and also so quick to address any issues
6. Got complimentary upgrades to Suites for Suite upgrade request.
1. Bathrooms were tiny even in the Suite rooms
2. Not a heated pool
3. Three New Year parties was too loud and made us awake until 2 am in the night. Not a major problem but quite an inconvenience
I will definitely come back LM, Bangalore. You are awesome and made our stays so pleasant. The complimentary shuttle to the airport was not originally included with this rate. But that's the customer service for u. This is just one instance and we had so many of these.

I got a non-smoking room but still get smell of cigarettes burning from time to time while in my room. I.e other guests on same floor were/was smoking in their own room during the whole period while I was in my room.
Asked your staff at the door for a taxi to go to MG road. I got a lady from the TRAVEL counter offering a drop service for INR600 instead of a taxi. Continued telling me that she was put on hold by the taxi operator that she attempted calling to get a taxi for me during my 15 minutes wait and offered twice at a lower rate of INR500 and finally at INR400 which I rejected all because a taxi service would not cost more than INR100, and gone back to my room rather than going out to have an experience of the city.
If a global hotel like yours provided me with this experience of Bangalore, what can the city itself provides me?

The hotel has excellent infrastructure, good food at the Jashn and La Brasserie and quality entertainment at the Sports Bar. The nearness to a a lush green Golf club other local attractions like palaces is an added advantage.
An ideal location and venue for weddings, ceremonies and anniversaries where local food is at its best. Multi cuisine restaurant [La Brasserie] is known for Indian and continental dishes. Jashn restaurant is a good poolside sit-out with your favourite drink and North Western Indian and Moghulai cuisine like kebabs, grills, etc. Obverall, afood family outing as well.

Staff is extremely courteous and caring and ensure your stay is excellent. Front desk team specially Nisha was excellent along with the entire team.
I have stopped using any other starwood property in bangalore except Meridien because of the experience given by the hotel and its staff. Be it the Restaurant or the Front Desk,, Room Service or the main entry all of them are very courteous and understanding.
Would recommend people to try this property.
