I'd start and say that indeed the facility is old. It is located in the heart of Chennai but near a road which is not accessible to pedestrians. It is though the customer service provided by a team of experts, that makes the stay worth our time. A complimentary car picked us up from the airport and took us straight into a dedicated check-in where we were recognized for the SPG Platinum and were upgraded to a wonderful suite.
I'd like to take the time and praise the work of Mr. Staley Menon who was in charge of the customer service throughout the day. The guy is on top of his game and knows how to fulfill every wish we had. His extraordinary service and attentiveness is remarkable and would ensure our return to the facility. Superb customer service.
As noted to the team, the executive club 'happy hour' serving is poor and very limited. The mix of indian & western snacks was minimal and was not satisfying even for 'snack'. The hot dishes were not properly warmed-up. Being on a separate level though, provided us the peace & quiet we were in need for. Thanks also to Mr. Sakthivel and Mr. Chandriamani who were eager to make sure our stay was perfect.
Overall: might not be the best of its class, but the LeMeridien team provides excellent service, and for that only our stay was well worth it.

I never got upgraded and i am a platinum member, the service in the restaurant was terrible, the food was bland, the printer did not work in the business centre and the internet access is poor. Many other better hotels, I am so disappointed with this property. The bed was hard, the pillows were hard and you can hear the people next door in the shower.

Stayed with wife. comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast was commendable. Lobby was quite remarkable for a small friendly meet.

Great service, excellent SPG Platinum recognition, good location, but the hotel is old and in need of renovation.

Hotel is good and excelletn breakfast but he design is a bit late 80 and could do with refurrbishement
