The temperature in the room was freezing and even after I switched off the aircon it remained cold all night.
The sink tap has changed, which is a huge improvement as the old one was not user friendly. But the tap for switching on the water in the shower cubicle fell off when I touched it, so I had to shower in the bathtub instead.

When I checked out of the hotel, the staff arranged for a Blue Bird taxi to my next destination. Before we left the hotel, the staff had recorded the trip details, including the time I got the taxi, car plate number of the taxi etc.
When I reached my destination, I was in a hurry and left my luggage in the boot. By the time I realised my mistake, the taxi has left the building compound.
I called the hotel to help contact the taxi company and trace the driver. The hotel followed up with Blue Bird immediately and within the hour, the driver had sent my luggage back to me.
Truly appreciate that the staff was meticulous and recorded the taxi trip details which made tracking the driver much easier and faster. I did not catch the names of the hotel staff, but thank you very much for the prompt assistance by the team!

Nice room. Very helpful staff. Quickly corrected a problem with transportation to from the airport to the hotel. Good suggestion by the staff for an excellent in-room meal. Very satisfied.

After "beating" Immigration at the airport and the traffic arrived at the Hotel which felt like a relief. One can get lost in the Hotel. We did like the location and the rooms had everything we needed and more. Would stay there again if in Jakarta.

Why you should chose to stay in Le Meridien Jakarta is rather simple, yet not obvious until you have tried it.....the people who work there. Without a doubt the staff of Le Meridien Jakarta are the friendliest I have ever met and genuinely look to please guests. From inception at getting out of your transportation, check in, going to your room or simply relaxing within the hotel, you will be greeted with a smile and an offer to assist. On the negative side, the decor is looking a bit tired and there are a fair amount of working girls in the bar. That said I thinks this adds to the charm, especially if you are traveling on business and welcome conversations with friendly locals. Nothing pushy or seedy about the girls, but I suspect they are looking to party.
The facilities are perfectly acceptable and the staff are friendly and efficient. I have stayed at Le Meriden Jakarta before and I would stay there again.

Just finished my stay at LM Jakarta, overall really good experience. Location was strategic but what made all the different was the high level of service given by the staff. Got upgraded with access to club lounge which was very helpful for me to relax after long day. Definitely will come back.
