I stayed at LM in KL many times and it is in the same complex where KLIA Express and AirAsia´s buses arrive. Very convenient if you arrive during rush hours. Staff is friendly and responsive. I had some problems with my TV remote that did not work upon arrival (1 time change batteries, 2 time chan ge to new remote) but the hotel responded nicely. Anyway, after the problem was sorted out, 1 hour had passed and I was waiting to take my hot bath. I do not know how the hotels check the remotes but maybe the cleaning lady could do it (put on some music channel) when she start make uo the room after guest´s check out. Anyway, a nice stay at LM again.

After taking the train from the airport and walking across the street we were able to get a room key in under 5 mins after being in the hotel. Our daughter was with us and they brought up an extra bed and hypoallergenic bedding quickly. We ate at the Italian restaurant. Service was good and the food was okay. Wine list a bit short. Internet was good. Club room was awesome!

My expat transition to Kuala Lumpur has been made seemless with the help of the staff here. I am always greeted as a valued customer regardless of which part of the hotel I touch. The meeting space and event staff (Thanks Jaclyn) went above and beyond! The convience to KL Sentral and the KLIA train service to and from the airport make staying here a pleasure.

During check-in, the front desk could not find my profile. After 10 minutes with the assistance of a senior staff, they realized I was a SPG platinum member and not a SPG Gold member. And I was then routed to the Club Lobby @ 33rd level for a check-in.
At the Club Lobby, I was told the room was ready but pending a supervisor to check before they let any guest to the room. Waited for around 30 minutes and I was told the room was still pending the supervisor to check and they offered another room (not at Club floor).
Went to the room and found out that the Internet and Air-Con was not working at all. So it set me wondering what was the "pending Supervisor to check before the guest is allowed to the room" - so did they even check this alternate room they gave to me?
All Meridien can do is call up to apologize and send me a apology note from the Hotel GM.
Now I am wondering why I even continue to support SPG.

Not so comfortable experience as last time...
I was given a room without proper shower, just hand shower, ...much smaller troom... comapred to last time,.. the floor carpet & overall appearance was bit gloomy & the window curtains once raised would let sun rays come so strongly that i had to close the curtains almost full, n then the room brightness is v less with all lights on... so if u desire natural light... then check out the rooms offered,... its not that comfortable at all...
when i told this to recptionist, it was told that all romms are similar... i wonder how come last time it was much bigger & different room... room type was same..
also, after conference, one of the evenings while going I cjecked out the snacks offered as conference packaged, altjought it was 5.50 pm, i was rudely trold by the lady out there that its closecd 10 mins back... i dont think its the gr8 service where especially waht i asked for was just 1fruit juice bottlewhich was any way kept there till some time back,... everyday...
inspite asking few times, standard plastic reply was meetecd out to me, & i gave up..
In all, not happy this time with the guest service extended..
