Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Weekend Excellent long weekend at the hotel. Staff were fantastic, upgraded to suite, SPG Platinum benefits were top notch. Food and drinks on offer we some of the best I have ever had. The staff even took my luggage, including golf clubs, to the MAS check-in at KL Sentral. Thanks to Jini for organising, as an Experience Specialist, she does a great job. Will be coming back, love the location, trains to everywhere and a great pool to relax in after a fun day in the city. May 6, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by consistently fabulous Its always a joy to stay here, what's more with bargain spg hot escape rates over the weekend. Request for early check in & late check out was noted. As platinum member travelled solo & making a 1 night stay, dont expect to get a suite upgrade since they politely mentioned it was reserved for families/sale during weekend. So their best available room is the premier room category. Im pretty ok with that since the tradeoff of complimentary mini bar for all day refreshments, buffet breakfast & dinner, plus the delicious macaroons & apples as welcome gift was very generous. i also noticed the rooms looks fresher than my last stay last year, perhaps they did made some polishing. Cleanliness is top notch. Sad they dont provide nachos anymore during breakfast, only for lunch. nevertheless the addition of sushi & bottled caramel coffee drinks are welcomed. i am impressed to see the new poolside bar & of course the new look of Latest Recipe. Rated 5 out of 5 by Good as home The hotel's location is unbeatable when travelling from KLIA. I was unaffected at all by the heavy downpour from KL Sentral as it was sheltered walkway after stepping off from the Eskpress train. Lobby was absolutely art-deco and check-in was fuss-free. The secured key-access for elevators is a definite plus point. I had chosen to dine in the 'coffeehouse' and there were no plans at all to leave the hotel. Food presentation was above expectations and the choices were unlimited. Simply adored the dessert section and stuffed myself silly. Relaxation by the pool and fitness facilities are very good too. Rated 4 out of 5 by Great staff and service My first time at Le Meridien KL, normally I have stayed at the Sheraton or Westin (4-5 times per year on average). I primarily chose Le Meridien since I needed to go KLIA early one day, and the express train from Sentral is the best option for this. First impressions were that the public areas (lobby, restaurants, gym etc) are modern and fresh. The room corridors seem dated and old-fashioned, like the decor in the rooms themselves. However, the cleanliness and facilities in the room were absolutely fine. I slept better in this hotel than I did while at the Sheraton/Westin in KL - less outside noise (e.g. Sheraton is terrible for this), and bed was just as comfortable as the other hotels. Also, I was upgraded to a suite, which was appreciated and unexpected since I was staying for almost a whole week. The highlight of the stay was the level of service and friendliness provided by the staff, from reception to restaurant to gym. Due to the club lounge being refurbished, evening happy hour was held in the Level 5 restaurant, Latest Recipe. This was actually a positive outcome, since although it meant a noisier environment, it gave access to the entire evening buffet, which had good choice and quality. Special mention has to be given to Halim, who was looking after the Platinum / club lounge guests in the restaurant. His attention to detail (e.g. remembering my drink choice and information from previous conversations) and level of service across the length of my stay was the best I have yet received at any SPG hotel, during my 5+ years of stays at SPG properties worldwide. The rest of the team were equally friendly and welcoming. I was also asked for feedback on my stay during my last evening while dining (rather than when checking out), which was a pleasant surprise. I will definitely consider Le Meridien as my first choice when returning to KL later this year. April 19, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice Stay The room is rather small and were not upgraded to suite due to high occupancy but the room was cozy enough. The platinum lounge was nice but a little cramped. The lobby was great! The staff were just perfect, thanks to Eyzlyn and Louis at the reception were kind enough to look for a better room with a great view of the city and were very kind and helpful. Mr Wan of the concierge were very helpful as well. The location's just perfect, just steps away from the airport train. Only 28 minutes from the airport to the train station and the hotel is just right next to the station. Will be back soon. March 29, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by Consistently outstanding I am a reasonably regular guest at le Meridien KL. It consistently delivers high quality personal service, a warm welcome, and genuine recognition of SPG Platinum status. The hotel is conveniently located close to the city terminal of the airport train. Food both at breakfast and evening cocktails in the Club lounge is varied and generous. Staff often go out of their way to make visits a little more special. Without a doubt my favourite Starwood property. March 5, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Roomy Suite Had a short 2 night stay here back in July 2014. Was directed to the Club Lounge for check-in and waited a short while for the room to be ready. The Club Suite I was upgraded to was very nice with a separate living room. Bath amenities were the generic house brand, same as the other rooms in the hotel. The only complain about the room was that the closet door could not be closed properly but I guess that didn't bothered me at all. The stay was fine as usual and enjoyed the Club Lounge. I'm not sure if there are other benefits for Club Guests, will check with the frontdesk on future stays. March 2, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Welcoming Staff I really enjoyed myself during my three night stay in Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur. I like this hotel because of its perfect location next to KL Sentral transportation hub, excellent large swimming pool and welcoming staff. It adds that in this hotel you are able to upgrade to Club Room with all the benefits for as little as 1500 SPG points per night as Instant Award Redemption. I was checked-in with very professional attitude by Ms. Sara, welcomed in the Club Lounge by ever smiling Ms. Umi and checked-out smoothly by attentive Mr. Halim. All the staff in this hotel I met in person is very professional and well trained including housekeeping staff. All my expectations were met and every my wish including an early check-in and late check-out were executed. Thank you for a very pleasant and relaxing stay! March 1, 2015

Rated 4 out of 5 by Perfect Stay Hello, Stayed in Le Meridien for 5 nights in Jan-Feb 2015, on 21st floor in one of the Deluxe Rooms with my mother. Our room was just GRAND, with every possible amenities anyone can think of. The bed was truly like heaven. The view from our room was just breath taking. Free room/lobby wifi with good speed and buffet breakfast was included in our hotel package. Our buffet breakfast was Superb and grand and so much to choose from. We were confuse on what to eat and what not to. Local transportation is easily available, be it taxis, bus or train. For first timers, do ask the concierge for free maps and direction, as it is easy to get lost. The building has a pool area on the 8th floor, with Spa and Gym as well. With our busy time table, I didn't get the chance to enjoy the pool, but mom was glad that she had some pampering time in the spa. The staff at lobby and concierge are very helpful and friendly with every query. Local tours are available with the concierge. Though it's primarily a business hotel, mom and I had no problem with anything at all. We had some issue with the bathroom and was provided with another room within 10 min. Do say "Thank you" to all the wonderful staff, specially the wonderful staff from the front lobby, Rachel, Audrey, Gem, Virost and Sarojini, to name a few. Their smiles made our stay more perfect. And thanks to the wonderful servers of the breakfast area. They make us feel like home, far away from home. Wish I had more time talking and getting to know more with the staff. Both mom and I was glad that we booked with Le Meridien for our short stay. Will definitely return here again for those smiling faces. As a suggestion, I would like to add, do put a clock somewhere in the lobby area if possible. As this is primarily a business hotel with visitors entering and exiting 24/7, it would make perfect sense to add clocks with time showing for few different cities around the globe. Rated 5 out of 5 by Relaxing hotel with great views... in most areas I spent a few days at the Le Meridien during my business trip, due to it's proximity to KL Sentral and business area, and it's closer position to KUL. Arriving from a taxi deposits you in front of the proper hotel, and from the train station arrows quickly identify the proper hotel door. I had a room on the upper Club levels, which itself was quite nice. The room was a fair size, with a large bathroom containing a separate shower and tub - both rooms with a large window. Now, one drawback - watch what end of the hall you are on! Although my room must have had a breathtaking view initially, there was a new office building being built next door, which meant that my windows look right into those. Thankfully it's under construction, but blocks part of the great view. As for the bathroom, it had slotted blinds. Again, good for some rooms, but not when you have office windows above and below your room. If the office building was completed I'm sure that I would have been seen in the buff by the neighbours many times, and had no way to block such views. The Club Level offered views to both the north and south of the city, which featured breathtaking greenery. I spent many nights (and happy hours) sitting watching the sun set, admiring the views. Additionally, during the rainy season it's a great place to view the massive dulges moving in. Food was excellent as well, with many options. As for the gym - what a choice in machines! It's shared, and is also available for external memberships. At the same time it offered a large number of machines, court, changing areas, as well as a steam room. As for the pool - it boasts the longest pool in Kuala Lumpur, and does not disappoint. The pool deck (also shared) features an amazing view of greenery to relax on, and more than enough lounges to relax on. It also has a bar section, so that you can continue to drink and relax without heading back into the hotel. For the kids - or even the kids in us - it also features a water slide to keep them (or us) occupied for awhile. And to top off the night, a hot tub - although it became a little too cozy a few nights. February 18, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonderful stay We had adjoining family rooms. Rooms were excellent, the only improvement could be a hook on the inter-connecting doors in order to be keep them open to watch and hear the children instead of having to prop them open. Food was excellent, however upon our first night we had to be placed in La Flavola Restaurant where we received a lovely meal but the service was poor. Table water was not offered until after we had asked for it and dessert took more than 20 minutes to be served despite other tables ordering behind and then being served ahead of us. The service we received in the buffet restaurant was excellent for the three breakfasts & two dinners. Well done. December 28, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Check out manager was disrespectful I have stayed at this property multiple times in the past years. I've even been made platinum because I personally chose to have multiple stays/nights at this hotel in the past. However, I will never forget my birthday stay this year. Upon checkout, I was told they will charge me again because they could not find my prepaid stay payment (it's prepaid!!!). Since I was not prepared (and did not have the proof, I reluctantly gave my credit card, and was humiliated in front of other people including my friends because they said I did not pay. Upon realizing I can get my proof from my iphone app credit card statement, I ran back to the hotel. They reversed the charges reluctantly and never once apologized. I love spg, but have since avoided this property. My last was a 25 night stay at kuala lumpur but in another chain because of this incident December 17, 2014

One of the uncomfortable thing is that someone ring my door bell at mid-night once in my 4 nights stay. This made me feel uncomfortable. Breakfast buffet is not something great. But in the 8/F breakfast restaurant, I was sitting under the whirling fan which made me headache. December 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by This Hotel Keeps its promises and more My family was here in June 2013. The hotel and staff were different then. Its a different feeling this time from our first visit last year - much much better - I think either the management changed - or - The management has adopted some new policies which is shown on all their team members very obviously. I like it! We were on a all inclusive breakfast and dinner family package - on the second night, the buffet area at Level 8 was closed for a private function. We weren't told about this until we got there. However, leMeridien kept their promise and it was a ala carte buffet for us at the Italian restaurant at Level 8. We had more than we bargain for. We had a very pleasant dinner and stay. Staff was excellent all round. Thank you. December 7, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Another Excellent Stay I almost could not have made it for this trip as i was sick. Arrived after 10pm instead of noon as planned. I got the first cheer from the front office who acceded to my request to upgrade me to a premier room since i book a classic room. I always love the premier room as the bathtub is nothing less than superb. Thank you so much for making my day. I really appreciated it very much. The room was what it was supposed to be. The closet cabinet lights did not light up but it did not bother me. Bed was good and i managed to get additional 2 pillows from house keeping. I slept well !! Had dinner at gastro sentral and i thought the quality of the food was special but taste wise, could be better. (i am not comparing with street food). beautiful and nice place though. I enjoy the huge pool and spa facilities. Thank you so much and i look forward to be able to stay at your hotel again. November 19, 2014
