It's like home away from home, coming back to stay at Le Meridien KL. Near KL Sentral is definitely a big plus. Easy to just take the KL Express train to the airport. And now that the big mall nearby is open, you can hang around the few cafe places if you don't feel like staying in the hotel (Not that the lobby area isn't nice to just sit and use the fast Free Wifi). A quick train ride to town, so it's not that difficult if you choose to head to town, Pavilion, KLCC, or have your seafood meal at Jalan Alor.

The hotel is conveniently located right next to KL Sentral, from where it's less than 30 minutes to the airport. Reception staff first offer me a newly renovated room, yet it was smaller than I originally booked. So I chose to moved to a not-so-renovated room. The room is clearly old, but the facilities are still OK. Breakfast is one of the best I've ever had among all Le Meridien hotels.

I came from the sheraton KL to Meridien KL to be closer to the train station. When travels are important, the hotel is excellent a footstep from KL express to airport etc.
While arriving with the car, security looked even beneath the car with a mirror... was Obama sleeping over there in june 2015?
The check-in: nice lobby, but slow process.
The rooms: somebody shrinked the rooms? I just came from sheraton (cheaper) but they allocated a junior suite. Here I got the smallest they have I guess. You feel king at the excellent pool and poolbar, with foods to die for, but once in the room I thought I was in an Ibis express.
Breakfast: get up as early as possible to leave the cave (room) and enjoy the spacious buffet area, with some special foods and drinks... I saw a lot of buffets but this one was over all expectations.

I was really looking forward to this stay at the Le Meridien, but was disappointed with my room. I pre-booked and noted for a non-smoking premiere room, but the hotel was overbooked and they can only offer me the smoking floor. Uncomfortable, smells heavy of smoke, and could not sleep well.

Thumbs up to the guest services located at front desk, club lounge and almost everywhere. They put on a smile, keep it up and don't stop doing that. A big appreciation to both Club Lounge Manager for doing a great job.
Been here countless of times and never a disappointment. They know exactly what you need, not perfect but good (to manage other guest expectation).
Keep up the great work.

This was my first stay at the LM KUL. I have stayed several times at a nearby SPG property and must say the LM was great. I gave out two SPG Platinum certificates "you made my stay" as I was impressed by some of the associates. The club lounge is closed for renovation but Hotel provided drinks and generous/delicious food helpings at its Italian restaurant. location close to KUL International airport. Pool is great also!

It was disappointing when I celebrated my birthday here in January but this stay made up to everything!
A big thank you to Mr Wahab, Ms Jini,, Mr Shan and Ms Umi for everything! It made our trip so wonderful. Even remembering on how our we like our drinks and food. That is what great service is like!
Even though the lounge is under renovation, it doesn't even dampen the whole experience for guest. The suite was wonderful even thou the air-conditioning might be a lil warm no matter how we tried getting the temperature down. But on the whole, it was really an amazing stay for us. Loved the staff especially Ms Jini. You are really legendary and looking forward to see more of you soon.
Final verdict : Best starwood property in KL! Without a doubt! Great rooms, great service, and the food was exceptionally delicious! I do not think any other hotel would serve such quality food. It is usually more generic but LMKL changes the game. WELL DONE!

I made a reservation at Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur and fully paid with my credit card for the rate including breakfast. However, at the time of checking in, I was told that I have an extra $80 per person for breakfast, as the rate I paid did not include breakfast. I showed my confirmation email stored in my phone to the reception, which clearly showed that breakfast was included in my booking. But the staff still insisted that my room rate does not include breakfast. This is absolutely the worst experience I ever had with SPG.
