Family Plan Policy

Children who are 12 or younger sleep for free in the existing bedding of a room shared with a paying adult. Rollaways, child rollaways and cribs may incur extra charges.

Age Requirement/Family Plan Policy

Guests must be 18 years of age or older to check in. Children over twelve years are treated as adults, and an extra person charge per room may apply.  Children twelve years and under will receive discounted meals at the buffet and stay free with parents using existing bedding.

Rated 5 out of 5 by A wonderful and peaceful experience We stayed during eight days and we really enjoyed this hotel. Everything is convenient : the pools, the beach, the restaurant and the staff. The pool villa is just amazing ! The breakfast is great !!!! The hotel is located on a private beach : no one and you can have a walk easily around ... We recommend this hotel ! May 7, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by Erwartungen nicht erfüllt Beschreibungen auf z.B. der Website lassen die Anlage als 5 Sterne Luxusdomiziel erscheinen. Da wir vergleichbare Anlagen in Thailand kennen waren wir sehr gespannt. Vorauszuschicken ist das wir kein "normales" Zimmer gebucht hatten sondern eine Villa mit Pool für ca. 700 Euro/Nacht. Hier nun stichpunktartig warum unsere Erwartungen leider nicht erfüllt wurden: - Die Villa war schlicht nicht ausreichend sauber. (Matratzen der Sonnenliegen feucht und verdreckt, nicht hergerichtet mit Bezügen, Stühle mit teilw. mit Vogelkot) - Ausstattung unzureichend (z.B. keine Sitzkissen auf Stühlen und Liegebank) - Service Mangelhaft (Nachfüllen der Bad-Sets nur auf Nachfrage, Säuberung der Sitzkissen auch nach drei Tagen nicht erfolgt, an Tag 3 keine Toilettenreinigung, Klingel an der Tür kaputt, Villa Host nicht vorgestellt etc.) - Den Designanspruch der Marke "Le Méridien" den man sonst gewohnt ist sollte man hier nicht erwarten. - Sauberkeit verbesserungswürdig (z.B. Gläser in der Bamboo Bar musten drei mal ausgetauscht werden weil sichtbar verschmutzt) - Lieblose Übersetzung der Speisekarten & Infoblätter (Schreibfehler etc.) Ein weiteres Beispiel wo sich die Lieblosigkeit zeigt: Im Baan Thai Restaurant wird das Tischwasser aus eleganten Silberkannen serviert. Im BBQ Restaurant wo ebenfalls europäisches Preisniveau herrscht bekommt man es aus der Plastikflasche. Schlicht nicht zuende gedacht. Auch unnütig sind Servicepatzer das im Bad kein Badesalz/Öl oder sonstiges vorhanden ist. Trotz mehrfacher Nachfrage wurde das Problem nicht gelöst. Sehr schade bei einer solch einladend großen Wanne. Platinum Benefits: Zur Erklärung für Leser die nicht Starwood Mitglieder sind: Platinum ist der höchste Status -> Stammkunden Außer einem Gutschein für zwei Getränke keine weiteren Verbesserungen (außer die Standard Benefits die generell gelten) Man hätte hier mit wenigen Mitteln wie z.B. Früchte zur Begrüßung (fast Standard in asiatischen Hotels) oder einem kleinen Spa/Restaurant/Transfer Gutschein die Wertschätzung zum Ausdruck bringen können. Positiv hervorzuheben bleibt die sehr großzügige Anlage, der schöne Strand und die wunderbare Vegetation. January 6, 2012

Rated 2 out of 5 by Dirty room, poorly aging place I used to stay several times in this hotel in the past. Not sure whether the Premium villa are driving the place to bankruptcy ? But my room was over-worn, dirty (seriously - greasy cushions, disgusting bed head lamp, etc...), could never get internet working although we were away the whole day...etc. Reception was a mess, with a serious lack of professionalism. I used to like this place very much, what a big disappointment ! May 2, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Superb service Superb service overall, especially from K. Ekkawi (Front Office Manager). He was very responsive to our e-mail questions months before our arrival. He also took great care of us once we arrived at LM Khao Lak. He ensured that we had a memorable wedding anniversary celebration. Thank you! The room was great and the housekeeping staff did an excellent job to make sure that our Suite (#291) was always in top condition. One minor issue: the limited snack for Platinum members ran out early at the Bamboo Bar. January 23, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Overall, great experience Our second reservation this month was great as well. K. Ekkawi continued to take wonderful care of us with our room needs. He provided such great customer service that LM Khao Lak should have more associates like him. Thank you! We also had a good experience at Baan Thai Restaurant. K. Napa and her staff (including Sa & Jeans) were great in helping us have an enjoyable breakfast experience. January 23, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by reliable experience After a good experience at the Meridien in Phuket a couple of years ago, I also tried the Khao Lak one North of Phuket, a bit remote but great if you are trying to keep away from Phuket agitation. Great beach, architecture, staff. Main disapointements was the italian buffet in terms of value for money, similar problem with the wines, cheap qualities and high prices, but this last issue is a general problem in Thailand and not necessarily specific to one hotel. I would go back anyway April 22, 2013
