Rated 5 out of 5 by Great hotel in great location - super friendly staff, always there to help - stayed there with my family for 2 weeks and had no reason to complain even once - new fitness and spa area - whenever I am in Vienna I am staying at this hotel, always a great experience, will come back the next time I am in town - kudos to the team, keep it up January 1, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Unsafe for older people My sister and I are in our late 70s. The beds were much too low to the floor and we each needed help to get up by putting a chair next to the bed. The bathroom, all tile floor and very severe slip hazzard My sister could not take a shower as she was afraid she would fall. as she had a total knee replacement. I took a shower only because I put a towel on the floor of the shower area. The door to the shower was not designed to close therefore water was all over the floor in the bathroom. This is a disaster waiting to happen. December 27, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by The hotel location to city The hotel gave an upgrade to their feature room which I found to be unique in it was classified as a suite but done in modern style, and initially did not have a normal seat but it had two high chairs and a bench, I requested and received a lounge chair as stated would be available December 26, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by never again I went as an SPG member the room I was given was not a SPG room 817,next to the lift shaft both I and my partner found it difficult to sleep the bathroom was dirty especially at the back of the shower which you could see,there was no shower cap a shortage of washing lotions neither I nor my partner liked the openess of the bathroom we like privacy when using facilities. I used the toilet in the bar three times it smelled of stale urine,the wc compartment needed a deep clean there is obviously no management structure in place inspecting these facilities Iwould not return to this hotel it was well overpricrd for the level of service I should have had wifi I was given no code to access it. Rated 4 out of 5 by The hotel was very modern but where the business centre is very quite and lonely for a lady on her own to go downstairs that was the only downfall Overall the Hotel is situated in a fantastic location. Staff for very customer focussed. Specially our thanks to Laura in Bar who worked extremely well on her own sufficing all the guest in the bar area plus in the Restaurant and attending to the phone at all times with a smile on her face. Would recommend her for employee of the month if you have this programme within the hotel November 28, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing hotel, amazing location, amazing staff We visit Vienna as part of our anniversary trip to Europe and this hotel was a highlight. The staff is very attentive to your needs and the location can't be beat. We were upgraded to an Executive Suite which as a nice bonus because most of the time the suite night upgrades never work. The staff was great. It is located in the heart of Vienna on the Opernring and is a quick walk to everything including the great shopping of the 9th ward. Highly recommend you chose the breakfast vs points as its the best I have had in a long while. October 16, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by What a stay ! Having been at this hotel quite a few times, I didn´t expect anything special beyond my already very good experience with this venue. Nevertheless, I was upgraded to a suite on the 7th floor with its own terrace and nice view over the city. The staff at Shambala Breakfast was very friendly and attentive, much appreciated. Overall, an extremely nice stay and I´ll certainly come back ! October 2, 2013

Helping to meet our requests much as possible, such as directions, early check-in, and a personal touch which makes one feel that they know who you are. The rooms are comfortable and clean with well positioned lighting. I found the hotel quiet such that I did not hear any hallway noise during evening hours. I have been to the hotel 5 times and will return next time again. October 1, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Exceptional service Every employee in this hotel that I encountered was extremely friendly and went out of their way to make me feel welcome. The hotel itself is modern and clean. I was upgraded to a suite using my suite awards from SPG which was appointed nicely. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was very spacious. Philipp at the concierge desk assisted me in shipping a painting back to the states. He took care of everything in a professional and proficient manner. September 29, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by VIENNA ,Austria Hotel perfectly located city center , opposite to OPERA house, city tours , food stalls, subway all walking distance,. Enjoyed our stay in Vienna. Only thing our room , there is no shower door water was spilling on rest of Bathroom floor ,creating slip & fall hazard. They di not put me SPG gold member fllor, ever day I have to go to my room to find out my card key does not work, then I have to go to front desk wait in line, to get card reprogrammed again,while my wife was waiting in hall way on our floor. Rated 4 out of 5 by Vienna Meridien I stay often at Le Meridien in Vienna. The John Harris Gym is nice, but the running/walking treadmills have a touch screen on them with a media center (including a tv) which is nice but the touch screen barely functions. It is nearly impossible to change the channel or adjust volume. This has been the case for over a year at least. These should be fixed or replaced. I am finally so tired of it I needed to complain. Rated 4 out of 5 by Mr.Alshaqqa Dear sir, I staied 4 nights in junior suite the size of the room is excellent but i face some problems wich is the light next to me when i stand up i hate it in my head twice wich is nearmis , also the lights behined me make alot of sounds and on off alot wich is scare my kids and my wife , this is my first time in lee merdian vienna and i feel upset and not fare to the amount i paied. Rated 3 out of 5 by Great location but needs improvements Great location, most of the monuments that have to be seen in vienna are accessible by walking in 20 minutes! I had the chance to stay in a beautiful and large room but classical ones are really small for the price. Beds are small (140 cm), windows cannot be open, it's quite stifling. Wood floors are spoiled, lots of footprints...I think the rooms would need to be done up. The staff is great, very helpful and nice. August 19, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Too bad & poor staff We chose this hotel in order to relax and enjoy Vienna with our kids (swimming pool after hours in museum is a good motivation). The second day, swimming pool was out of order. Too bad but it can happen, ok. They sent me to another gym centre they had an agreement with. I dressed, dressed the kids and went to in on their reco. No kids aloud in the pool! 3 kids totally disapointed after walking to it. Very poor staff help. No excuse presented after report. Try an other hotel, Vienna is plenty of. August 18, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by This hotel is uncomfortable and expensive Pros: The location is good. The air conditioning was working (if it's a pro...). Cons: Everything else. The bathroom is a nightmare, with walls made from see through glass. The other occupants can see one through the "wall" what one is doing in the bathroom. The shower has no separated space, when one uses it and everything becomes wet. The staff rang from 8 AM every hour saying: "Entschuldigung". We couldn't have a quiet morning due to this. The gym is extremely small. I don't recommend this hotel, avoid it. August 14, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent location and well-managed We thoroughly enjoyed our 4-day stay at this hotel. The hotel is very conveniently located. We were in Vienna during a heat wave and found it very easy to get back to the hotel for cooling off and a shower in the middle of the day. The free beverages were greatly appreciated. The hotel is artfully decorated and modern. Bed and linen were comfortable. Pool is small but well-maintained. You have great staff here. Sandra checked us in as well as checked us out, and she was exceptional! Other staff were all very pleasant and extremely helpful too. August 11, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by You need to upgrade the staff The staff is just not up to the expected standards at this hotel. They try to be nice, polite, professional, but it is NOT AT ALL natural, it is all made up, fake, rigid and cold. It feels as if they have been scripted what to say, but have no real passion to do the job. They are there only for a salary. This applies to Sandra or Sylvie at the reception, but also to the Moët bar or to the general manager, Gabrielle as well. With the current staff, I do not like going to this hotel, and I do not recommend others to go there either. August 9, 2013
