Rated 5 out of 5 by Neilac Five star service
What a great hotel. Two minute walk across the road from the main train station, ten minute walk to the centre of town. The facilities are great. Having a swimming pool in a city hotel is a real bonus. What made the trip for me was the level of service with a special mention for Florien on reception. A real asset for the hotel.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MnJA Good Hotel Overall!
Great location directly across the street from the Central Train Station makes it quite convenient for both business & tourism. A special thank you to the concierge 'Martin' who was extremely efficient & helpful with all of our inquiries. Quite a bit of foot traffic through the hotel but front desk/lobby staff handles it efficiently. The restaurant staff however seemed quite unorganized during the morning & evening peak hours. Expect a short wait for a table for breakfast as the dining areas are on the small side. The food selection itself was very standard!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Raj33 Needs improvement, training. Disappointing experience.
Below average stay.
Carpets not vacuumed in Room when I checked in. The pattern is very busy, so it can hide dirt, but I saw particulate and string. Also not vacuum second day.
LOTS OF BILLING ERRORS. At checkout, charged for 5 days parking, but only stayed 3 days.
Also, double charged for Internet on bill. It was listed clearly under each days room rate, but also charged additional on bill for 3 days. Very obvious on bill.
Staff not reviewing bills for accuracy. I felt awkward arguing with checkout person until bill was fixed.
Would not stay here again or recommend, A low trust staff who does not care about guests.

Rated 1 out of 5 by G650 Willing to pay
Was willing to pay for an upgrade to an available larger room for an unexpected additional guest and learned this was a platinum privilege and attempted to redeem. Suddenly the room was unavailable when attempted to redeem on site. This in addition to an aggressive response from the front desk staff compelled me to leave this unsatisfactory comment.

Rated 2 out of 5 by myhotrs Somehwat shabby and run-down
The hotel is directly across the street from the main train station in Munich, so not in the best area. The lobby in nice, typical Le Meridien. The hallway to the room though is in bad shape. Walls are stained and scratched, hallway is a little narrow.
Nothing though prepared me for the "2" beds and their mattress. The 2 beds are together and can not be separated more than a few inches, awkward when traveling with another guy. The mattresses themselves were horrible, very soft and springy.
Concierge was somewhat helpful but neglected to tell us some important stuff and I thought was quite arrogant. Would not come back.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Irena SPG should really reconsider keeping this hotel in their network!!
This hotel needs to do a full makeover to be worthy of the 4 stars! First, the beds are so hard, that you can feel the springs. Pillows are filled with some smelly, cheap synthetic filling, that absorbs the sweat from previous guests. The shower had black mold in one corner, and it was leaking on 2 sides - what a design. The "white" towels looked so gray like they have been used to clean the floors. When using them, it felt like you are scrubing sandpaper on the skin. We didn't get a room on the SPG floor, even though we booked with our Gold status card.
SPG should really reconsider keeping this hotel in their network!!
