Rated 5 out of 5 by Wunderbar! We recently stayed 5 nights at Le Meridien in Stuttgart. As platinum members, we were upgraded to a very spacious Junior Suite overlooking the park and were quite pleased to find the rollaway bed we requested for our daughter was already set up in our room. We rented a car and used the hotel's valet service which was reasonable and efficient. Stuttgart's main shopping street, the Konigstrasse, was within easy walking distance through the park and the main train terminal is also just a short walk right across the street. The service at the hotel was first rate and the food was excellent. I highly recommend the breakfast buffet. It was one of the best breakfasts we have had in Germany. On our last night, we visited the spa and indoor pool. We were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful it was for an indoor space. Very clean and modern. There is also a separate elevator to take you to the pool/spa so you can put on your bathing suit, robe, and slippers in your room and walk straight to the elevator. Very convenient. Overall, we had an excellent stay and plan to make Le Meridien our new home when visiting family in Stuttgart. April 8, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Service and excellent food The service in this hotel is of excellent quality and so is the food at the breakfast buffet and in the restaurant. However the price is quite high. March 20, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent hotal and staff. Great hotal and better staff. When we arrived, our daughter had become ill and the staff (lisa) went out of her way to help, called a doctor who made a room visit at the hotel the same day. In addition all the staff were very helpflul and the hotel facilities were excellent. Very much appreciated the personal and professional approach taken by all at the hotel. December 30, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Pleasant Stay, Minor Issues This is a solid property, probably the best in town, but has two downsides: location is not great, as nothing in the immediate vicinity. SPG recognition not the best: no upgrades ever, the (very limited) club lounge is now closed. Breakfast was however offered as a complimentary and was a very nice buffet, especially liked the juicer. The room however was very new and comfortable, the spa and gym is amazing, however a bit confused by the signs in the mixed saunas saying that for hygiene reasons guests should be naked in the sauna?? Maybe lost in translation, or it's a German thing... Hotel bar was very depressing. 20 Euros for parking was also annoying for what is essentially not a central hotel. But altogether nice property and staff and will definitely stay again. April 11, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Another great stay! Although my stay was brief for this visit (3 nights) being at the Le Meridien Stuttgart was a wonderful way to start and end my European holiday. Staff are so polite and professional and very knowlegeable about things to do in the City. My rooms were just great – I faced the street and had no problems with noise whatsoever. I was also happy to see that since my last visit there is now free Wi-Fi/computer usage in the Business Center. All in all another great stay and I am counting the days until my next visit! Rated 5 out of 5 by A cut above Booked only as a place to stay overnight before our plane departed. Found this hotel to be a highlight of our week in Germany on business. Staff was very professional and personable. Food was world class (I travel internationally ~10 weeks per year and eat out a lot). Excellent room, large, comfortable, clean. November 24, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by A successfull weekend in Stuttgart Full of gratitude I will response the request for a review of my last stay.: to get a theatre-ticket today is no problem because the buy by online is democratic: You get the wonted place if it is free, but when the performation is sold out,IYou need the help of a good concierge-team and here in the Le Meridien the was like such ! ! ! Thank You for the ticket at saturday, and at all the performance " The visit of the old lady" was great like the opera " La Traviata " at friday. Once I wrote the breakfast at a other Starwood-hotel was the best I can remember, but now I am not sure: here it was classic with all You can hope, and the most important point is the price with at 6€ cheeper than the former. The desk staff, nice young laydies, are competent and friendly. So it was a very successfull weekend.! February 5, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by The hotel has some good features The hotel is nice, however, they charge for internet, and to even print boarding pass, which was shocking. Most hotels have just a terminal with all the airline info only to print boarding pass. Also, no club lounge. The location is okay, but nothing near it for eating out. It is near a metro which is super. Most meridians are just in awesome locations. The staff was so reluctant to take my memory stick to print a boarding pass. January 19, 2012
