Look, this hotel has a lot to offer - the lobby is great, staff is friendly and there is a good selection of restaurants on the hotel property. To make this a GREAT property, the rooms are just too old with older decor. Grandma would love it!!! The restaurants are expensive in particular Benihana and the steak house. As important, there was no starwood recognition (i.e. no club floor upgrade or even a mention of it).

I was very disappointed with the quality of service. I was requesting cups for drinking tea and staff informed us to use the glasses for drinking tea instead of giving fresh cups. We were not even given milk packets for two days and eventually we bought milk from room service. The pot in the room when we entered was also dirty. One of the tile also came out on second day of our stay!

During my stay of 10 days, I was very comfortable.
Few ares worth noting:
Indoor temp controlled Swimming was nice and quite big. However, a shower room closer to the pool would have helped as the passage to shower is long and with full AC.
Passage from reception to the lift which takes to rooms is bothering.
Breakfast spread is not that great for an Indian vegetarian like me. So I had to eat almost same things daily.
Men's refreshment area - Steam and Sauna - are quite good.

Reference to your request in giving feedback on our stay at Le Meridien Amman Hotel, we're kindly informing you that according to our experience in the hospitality industry me and my husband, we were surprised with few points which reflected on our satisfaction as guests, and they are:
- The dark curtains in the room couldn't be open, cause the stick handle is not there, and it was really annoying cause we didn't see the daylight/sunshine at all!!
- The dark curtains white side is rot.
- The shower handle and the temperature handle are loose; the handles were out of their place and in our hand!
- We told the guest relation lady about our unworthy experience, and she replied back with unprofessional answer mentioning the sentence of "We are sorry, but we are working on maintaining the shower handles!!", we told her if it's like that, so why we took such a room which needed maintenance, and sorry the maintenance of the shower handle is not our problem to know about it!
- The cost we paid (128 JDs) for a night without breakfast is too much for such worthless stay!
For us we will never repeat the stay at Le Meridien Amman, it needs a big change as it's one of the very old hotels which needs ongoing preventive maintenance and professional staff to deal and answer the guests in a convenient way.

First day the front desk was very helpful, but after check-in they ignored all requests and didn't lift a finger to help. Restaurant food was overpriced and at best mediocre. Drinks were overpriced, and bartenders were stingy with the alcohol. Room was fair, but smelled like an old shoe. Location was not friendly to walking anywhere, so eating/drinking/other services required getting a taxi.
Specific issues I encountered, when trying to use the printers in the "business center", which were out of ink, I asked the front desk to print off something for me (they had at least two working printers behind the desk) the attendant told me he wasn't sure if that was allowed, then ignored me for the next 20 minutes. Finally walked down the street to a competitor's hotel chain, walked in and asked if we could use their print facilities and was assisted 100% and without fee.
Also, if traveling on orders and you fall into a special "group rate" category, SPG will not give you any points for all the money you spent in their hotel… except for the overpriced food and beverage!!!

i had a very good experience with Le Meridian Amman. i cannot forget the lady standing outside the breakfast lobby Lida ,her greetings and warm welcome. When Hussein at reception says at your service, he really mean it. he helped me alot. In evening Ibrahim's warm welcome with Coffee and fresh kajoor, all together made my stay memorable. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. Our only disappointment was the Japanese and Chinese restruants were closed from the time we checked in on 27 July till 01 Aug. However we understand the reason was Eid. Our comment would be to say in the future they are closed during Eid. However again we really enjoyed our stay. Thank You

Great in everything, food, clean, rooms, Wi Fi service, near shopping centers etc.. But nothing prepared for kids. Though you find in the net that there is kids club and baby sitter but in fact there is NOTHING. there is no place in the pools for the kids. :-(

Excellent service shown by entire team. Some of the best I have seen outside Dubai. Far above other hotels I have stayed in Amman. Facilities are slightly better than other hotels in Amman, and are starting to get a bit dated.

I was met with extraordinary welcome and very smooth registration by Ms. Anas. The room was excellent with the expected amenities. Staff were wonderful. One feels that this is the PLACE to be while in Amman.

Our flight & baggage had been delayed and we arrived into the hotel early hours on Monday 23/06/14. Staff at check in desk very sympathetic and upgraded the whole group to suites! Meant to be just for the night as a goodwill measure but when they discovered that all our baggage had still not been delivered the next day, they let us stay in the suites for the whole duration of 3 nights.
Concierge was extremely helpful in trying to help us locate our baggage by communicating with their contacts at Amman airport. They also gave us recommendations for where to eat locally and the places were really excellent!
Breakfast selection at the hotel was excellent and the staff always greeted us and asked if they could do anything more to please us.
The staff greeted us like long lost friends when we returned from Petra on the last night. They had kept our luggage for us having received the baggage on our behalf just the night before. The concierge had offered to send the luggage onto Petra for us but as the bags did not arrive until the end of the holiday, it was thought best to wait until we returned to Amman.

The hotel facilities were excellent in all aspects, the staff were very helpful particularly Ramsey the concierge, who tried to locate our lost luggage. The restaurant staff members Lida and Marie who were most helpful.
The bedrooms were comfortable and relaxing.
We would stay here again if we return to Amman.

Just came back from another stay at Le Méridien. As always the service was great and the rooms very comfortable. Disappointed a bit that the newspaper was not delivered in the morning as promised but it was not that important. Next time. Otherwise an enjoyable stay despite my heavy workload but it was always nice knowing that staff did their very best to make my stay as enjoyable and relaxing as possible. Thanks again and keep up the great work.
