Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Hotel staff Hotel location is fine to get to to main touristic places in Amman. The hotel lobby is great and food offer )restaurants and bars) is varied. The rooms need a refurbishment as they are a bit old. Staff kindness and availability is remarkable. They try to meet all your expectations Things that you need to improove: Leadersheep in the Buffet restaurant; sometimes the staff gets confused and is not effective Is mandatory that all hotel staff working in bars and restaurants speaks perfect english, oterwhise guests will have troubles with comunication.. A suggestion: despite Jordan is a Muslim country so wine is not allowed, guests from other creeds may drink wine and spirits, so you should provide your staff with training and information. Rated 5 out of 5 by Le Meridian is not an hotel, it is your Luxury home It has been 7 years now staying in hotels around the world, and Le Meridian Amman is strongly the Best ever, because of the Features the Hotel is offering and the most important thing is the Staff attitude which make you feel that they really love you... they are not treating you as a valuable client only, believe me it is more that that: you feel that you are the family member they are waiting for his visit and they try their best to make your stay very pleasant... I am speaking about all the staff: starting from Reception team (Amer, Khalaf,.... all of them) to the concierge team to the restaurants teams (Osama and all the Others) to the room service. to the Lounge Staff (Special Thanks for the Japanese lady Sorry i don't know the name but i believe she is japanese)... Rated 5 out of 5 by This hotel is extremely customer-focused! Our flight & baggage had been delayed and we arrived into the hotel early hours on Monday 23/06/14. Staff at check in desk very sympathetic and upgraded the whole group to suites! Meant to be just for the night as a goodwill measure but when they discovered that all our baggage had still not been delivered the next day, they let us stay in the suites for the whole duration of 3 nights. Concierge was extremely helpful in trying to help us locate our baggage by communicating with their contacts at Amman airport. They also gave us recommendations for where to eat locally and the places were really excellent! Breakfast selection at the hotel was excellent and the staff always greeted us and asked if they could do anything more to please us. The staff greeted us like long lost friends when we returned from Petra on the last night. They had kept our luggage for us having received the baggage on our behalf just the night before. The concierge had offered to send the luggage onto Petra for us but as the bags did not arrive until the end of the holiday, it was thought best to wait until we returned to Amman. July 1, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Le Meridien I don't feel this hotel is a 5 star; perhaps 4... My reasons are the following: in my opinion having to go through a security device daily shows me; although they are security conscious, it's not a hotel for me. Is this location a high crime area? if not why the security? We were nicely greeted by the reception. Why doesn't a five star hotel offer wifi to the customers? At the very least gratis in public areas for all... I don't understand. At other hotels in Dubai there is free wifi. The bathroom should offer a luxury experience. but at the Meridian the towels are not fluffy and the entire room should be upgraded. The bathtub is from the 60s...although you receive amenities, i.e., comb, etc they aren't laid out in a sophisticated manner. The daily breakfast buffet was good. April 14, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonderful Experience I stayed at the Le Meridian in Amman Jordan at the time there was a conference on of over 400 people, from check in to check out the staff were professional, friendly and looked after you very well. The room was well presented, clean comfortable and the room service was first class, dining experience food was of the highest standard the management should be proud of their staff especially when it was a very trying time for them with so many people to cater for - A truely first class experience Thank You December 4, 2011

First, the breakfast is excellent, wonderful breads and selection of food-, lunch buffet was also great. The hotel staff from housekeeping to reception are polite, helpful and do a great job. Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic stay I stayed for one night at this property. I was welcomed from the moment I stopped my car at the valet (by the way it's free), I was upgraded to huge speciality suite as a platinum member. I was giving an access to Cosmo "restuarant + club lounge" with huge selection for breakfast and dinner including wine and beer selections. They also offered me using spg points spa treatment for really good price it's was about 3000 spg points. I highly recommend staying at this property. December 31, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Le Meridien, Amman Hotel was clean and efficient on arrival. Was checked in and received a fantastic room with all the facilities I needed. Rami was particularly helpful from the reception team and was attentive to any special requirements I had. 8th floor between 6 and 8pm was worth attending - to bridge the gap between lunch and an evening meal with some free snacks and drink. Facilities great overall. Only disappointment was lethargic staf fin the spa reception towards the end of the day. July 12, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Absolutely Fantastic!! We have never been treated so well at any hotel ever. From the minute we got picked up from the airport, till we got dropped off at the airport a week later, EVERYTHING was perfect. The staff are incredibly professional, polite, friendly, and very accommodating. They put hospitality in the dictionary. The room was very spacious and very clean. We had internet access which was very important for me. The hotel transportation was our lifeline, and the Executive Lounge was icing on the cake. We got spoiled royally and loved every minute of it. Thank you to each and every staff member we met: Abdel-Rahman, Hussam, and Mohamad (Executive Lounge); Haitham and Mou3tasem (transportation); Ramy (Reception); Ibrahim (best coffee); Akram, Khalid, and Khader (housekeeping); and Rasha (Guest Relations). Rated 3 out of 5 by Room extremely warm The room was much too warm. A/C would not cool. When asked, the reception told me that during winter this function is disabled. However, despite the outside temperature around 22 degrees, the inside temperature was over 25 and very uncomfortable. Opening the window would help during night time, but then the noise from traffic was much too loud. Once again, no SPG Gold recognition (no room upgrade). Gym/Pool good as always and food outlets good but too expensive. December 23, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Comfortable The Meridien Amman is one of the best hotels in the area. The Business lounge and business staff are excellent. They take a personal interest in your stay and your comfort. I was not particularly impressed with the breakfast restaurant. The food is good, but the service doesn't match up. In particular Russam and Analyn are great staff members from the business lounge. The 282 is a fabulous restaurant with great food and good service. I highly recommend it. June 4, 2012

The superlative service, very helpful and accommodating staff and senior officials of the hotel who were very very helpful and flexible to accommodate the requirements of a diverse group. Besides the above, hotel has a grand and impressive lobby ambience, conference facilities, convention centre and spacious rooms with all 5 star amenities. May 22, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Hotel was so comfortable I visited Le Meredian many times ago, but this time was really different. I could touch the improvements everywhere: quality of room services, cleaning & quiet . Also food variety in the main restaurant. Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent staff We had four nights in the hotel and decided to eat at the Lebanese restaurant, which was a lovely meal and well looked after, we then ate in the Italian restaurant which was very nice but not as good as the Lebanese. We then went to the Steak restaurant which was fantastic, one of the best fillet steaks I have had for many years and the special service we received from Myka was superb, she is an excellent asset to the Le Meridan. Rated 5 out of 5 by friendly helpful staff i stayed in the club floor very very quiet : i could work in my room excellent internet: i kept in touch with colleagues i used the lounge: very practical for snacks and drinks for someone who does not have time to prepare his own tea?.... All staff very friendly and helpful my family joined me for the weekend they enjoyed the restaurants, bars and spa. we made some sightseeing and shopping very conveniently April 14, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Another pleasant stay Just came back from another 2 night stay at Le Meridien. Very good overall. Staff were very helpful and polite. Room was good and clean and as expected. Have to mention the credit card machine was not working correctly upon check-in (appeared as if there was a problem with my credit card but after contacting my bank - it appeared the machine itself had the problem). Would it be possible to keep those in check as it might be embarressing for customers? I'm sure others faced the same problem. Eventually the problem was resolved. Others the stay was fine. Great hotel for buisness travellers and a good value for money. SPG recognition could be better. Mentioned this before - a simple token (fruit platter/complimentary drink/voucher or whatever) would do the trick in adding to the experience. Simplest of things make the world of a difference. Rated 5 out of 5 by EXCELLENT PLATINUM RECOGNITION Stayed in this property for 4 nights and was upgraded to their executive suite. For Platinum Members, breakfast is included either in the club lounge or in the main breakfast area. Everyone was very accomodating especially Mohammed, the Night Manager of the Hotel. What sets this property over and above my expectations are the staffs. All were very accomodating, friendly, and polite. Will always be my preferred choice of hotel in Amman. January 31, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by hoping perfect service in my second night, complimentary water bottles were not delivered (there were only neck tags), therefore I had to request to deliver them. Reacton was good. My colleague faced same situation when he checked in the room. The pressure of the shower was not enough. May 28, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great place to stay while on business The staff were very kind, polite and professional. The room was spacey, clean, and in good condition. A bit better lighting would help. I only wish that as an SPG customer they'd provide that little something extra (a coupon, a welcome gift, etc.) to acknowledge our loyalty to the SPG family brand. Hopefully maybe next time. Overall, a very good option if you're a on business and on a budget. Congradulations to the Le Meridien team. April 17, 2013

The people in the hotel are extremely friendly and helpful...always very accommodating, never making a problem. The breakfast buffet was excellent as were the local and Japanese restaurant. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone!! April 28, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Exquisite Vacation My experience in Le Méridien was an amazing one, the Spa and pool give a full relaxation and boost of energy at the same time, the food is a mouth teaser which makes you want to live in the dining area forever. Best for last is service and staff, beautiful smiles everywhere friendly and very helpful and most important they would go the extra mile for their guests. Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent experience in this hotel The last visit was number 5 in less than one year due to the comfort of a second home that i was feeling. The staff is very helpful and welcoming especially Miss Sahar at the desk. The food is diversified and very tasty based on the 5 restaurants present in the hotel. The breakfast at the brasserie is excellent and the staff there are outstanding. However the internet is not fast and not too stable. February 6, 2014

Rated 2 out of 5 by Poor Showing Despite paying extra for a club-level upgrade, my room's air conditioner did not push cold air. The staff told me they could not relocate me becuase of full occupancy [despite my check-in upgrade to club-level]. Similarly, when I returned from a day-long business meeting, the housekeeping staff had not re-filled the toilet paper! I would NOT recommend this hotel for a stay in Jordan...extremely disappointing. March 27, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Great Size Building although time for refurbishment Overall the hotel is a very spacious building and has a lot of potential. However, it is high time for a proper face-lift. 2 main things that didn't live up is the mattress is completely supportless and why is the hairdryer inside the computer table instead of being in the toilet? Staffs were very attentive when I require ice to be sent to my room and a very nice gesture that the hotel remembers my Birthday. December 18, 2012
