The hotel staff is very considerate and accommodating. The front desk team was very helpful in ensuring that our checkin and checkout was smooth. Overall the hotel facilities were excellent. Special thanks to Marlon and his colleague for accommodating our requests.

Having now used this hotel for over 500 nights over the last 3 years, this hotel still delivers a quality experience. Without exception, all of the staff are very friendly, professional and go out of their way to be of service and provide a level of customer attention and care that a lot of other hotels could only dream about. The business lounge facility is superb and the staff here are some of the best in looking after a guests requirements. The standard of rooms is very good and well presented. The food choice is excellent and of an excellent standard.

I have stayed in this hotel hundred times but it is depending on the reception employees who check you in, it is either he makes your stay unforgettable or he will make it difficult to deal with them. Over all, this hotel is not bad especially after their new renovations, it is great.

My wife and I spent 4 days at Le Meridien. We went to get away from the hubbub of Riyadh and succeeded in finding peace and quiet, and luxury. The staff and service were flawless, as was the room, the sea view, the eating facilities and the men's gym. The only negative is the recreation facilities for women. The gym is small, while the men's is large and well equipped. The (outdoor) swimming pool is clearly designed for children. There is no swimming facility for women at all, and this has to be addressed if the hotel wants to berecognised as a full five-star for holidays.

Beautiful hotel, friendly and helpful staff, and very good service overall. There were inconsistencies in the room services. For a five star hotel I would expect the service to be high quality and the same each day. Some days there was no towel for the floor by the shower, bottled water was provided every day but it ranged from one bottle to four, some days no tea/coffee was provided while most days two of each was provided, one day my room was not even cleaned. Overall I was happy with the hotel, and I'd almost definitely use this hotel the next time I travel to AlKhobar

Le Meridien is definitely THE best place to stay when in Al-Khobar! I've been here only 3 different stays and yet the staff remembered my name and were always polite and anxious to address my needs regardless of what they were.

I were disappointed by someone in the reception when he did not prepare the suites for my parents. i notified the hotel three times to bring fruits or any thing to serve my family after long journey, but unfortunately the did not help. I ordered from the room services some food and a paid for that.
i have no idea why the hotel have not prepared the suites and room as we agreed one day before arrival.
it was unbelievable to treat platinum member like that. Now, i am doubting about the benefit of the platinum member.
I will raise this to SPG later.

This was my first trip to KSA for business and in all honesty, I did not know what to expect, The hotel was recommended via our companies travel office for safety and accommodations.
The room was very clean comfortable and well appointed. Every day, I was provided complimentary water and fresh fruit and a voucher for free espresso / Cappuccino at the coffee shop n the lobby.
The hotel staff were courteous and made every effort to make my stay comfortable. The three hotel restaurants, while expensive, provided excellent fare.

The hotel is safe, comfortable and clean. The staff is wonderful and the food is incredible. Do not miss having dinner at Fusion on the 2nd floor. A truly first class dining option featuring Sushi in the raw, and in a fusion style as well.
The rooms are comfortable, and designed for business with plenty of electrical plug access, large flat screen TV full desktop access to audio, video, and high-tech connections.

we had buffet dinner at cafe due la Paris and the main course was very bad, the barbecue was salty and under cooked the other dishes not tasty at all… on the other hand the salads and sweets were excellent.

Put me on a smoking room when i asked for non-smoking specific.
I had to put up with bad reception desk for a mistake they did by adjusting in tobacco smell for a night.
To make matters worse, you expect someone in the front desk when you reach hotel after a long flight of 16 hours. No one in reception for 15 minutes.
No lounge access for gold members and zero privileges for loyalty. i do not see a point of having SPG loyalty at all when all other SPG chain hotels acknowledge being gold. All this for a long stay

I came back to stay at the Meridien Khobar one more time last week end.
They remember me from a year ago went I spent more than 3 weeks at this hotel.
It was like visiting friends.
From the luggage attendant to the reception desk the service was perfect.
At Le Café de Paris the food was once again delicious and diverse.
It is just too bad I will lose my platinum status at the end of the year, hope I can enjoy the same kind of treatment on my next stay.
I highly recommend this hotel if you stay in the Khobar area.

Have stayed in this hotel on many occasions and the quality has always been good given the fact that renovations have taken place in the last year. I particularly enjoy using the executive floor as it is a quiet area to relax and if necessary work. During my last two visits however, this facility has been unavailable, instead the use of rooms on the second floor is provided. I have to say that these rooms are rather dated and inferior to that on the twelfth floor and it made for a rather disappointing experience.

I've been using this hotel for several years, and the service and general facilities are as good as I've found anywhere. The staff try hard to meet my expectations and where there are problems - for instance, if there are difficulties with in-room services - the response is immediate and generally effective.
The evening buffet is first-class, with a varied menu and attendant chef who will cook to order.
Overall, highly recommended.

although the Hotel still charges full rates for the rooms, there is only one Restaraunt open in the evening, and it was full of screaming kids running around. Not a very pleasant environment for a peaceful meal.
B'fast was only by room service, but still charged at ful rates.

My hotel stay was fine with excellent attention given to ensuring my comfort.Breakfast buffet excellent and staff warm and friendly.Room was always fresh smelling with flowers and fresh fruit basket delivered daily.Bathroom and shower facilities very well planned.The gym is superb , great selection of weights and cardio equipment.

This is the 10th year that I stay in Meridien Al Khobar and the friendliness of their staff and treatment has always exceeded my expectations. When I arrived they didn't have a room available so they immediately upgraded to a suite. I recommend this hotel to all my friends visiting the Eastern Provinces. Also it's worth mentioning that the recent renovations leaving the hotel and rooms without any exception as if it was recently built.

I stayed for more than 45 nights, reached platinum and went through hassle to get it changed. Wanted to talk to manager and he being the boss did not even want to talk to me.
Worst loyalty recognition ever, when i told them i do not want any privileges i'm entitled for platinum benefits but just the breakfast lounge access and the manager ignores me, the reception guys do not have decision making capability.
In all insulted and ignored by the staff

I stayed at the Al Khobar for two weeks and the hotel didn't give me any SPG points or Make a Green Choice points. I had to send an email to SPG who gave me the points except the Green points. Now, I have to call back.
The hotel management is completely indifferent and their actions shows they couldn't care a less. They kept saying "we're working on it" but have done anything to fix it or keep me or my colleagues in the know who are having the exact same problem.
I have wasted at least an hour chasing after the points. The hotel seems to prefer to default to their own favor vs. in favor of the customer. Their lack of action in getting the points awarded will cost me in my Platinum challenge.
It's very disappointing as every Le Meridien I've stayed at throughout the world has been the tops. This one seems to be following a different rule book.
The elevators smell - BIG time. There is clearly no ventilation and gets ripe.
On the bright side, the service staff is what you'd expect at a Le Meridien. The guys in the Cafe and the room staff are outstanding.
