I honestly was expecting much more from Le Meridien, the bed mattress was terrible,
in the room there wasn't water heater and Coffee/Tea tray which is basically supposed to be by default. the shower water was super hot, I couldn't take a shower.
The staff was okay, not a good greating service at the entrance.
I am sorry for the bad review, I rarely do give bad reviews, it is only when my experience is this bad.

The rooms are really clean, well maintained and comfortable. You are made to feel welcome on arrival.
I had a continental breakfast and room service dinner and they both were well presented and delivered speedily and tasted good.
On checkout the receptionist was second to none. He was chatting to me as he was getting my bill ready and smiling throughout. He actually was the best thing about this hotel.
All in all a fantastic stay.

I was expecting great things from this hotel, however the decor and facilities are very dated.
The gym has or had NO air conditioning making it almost useless, it was actually cooler out side in the evenings than it was in the gym.
Service in the coffee shop was slow to non existent and staff required prompting several times.
Requested a non smoking room, only to find the carpets stinking of smoke.
Overall not a great experience

As I am French, I like sometime to watch French news on French channels, then it was announced that 2 French speaking channels on your TV documentation and none of them were available during my 6 days stay!! I have asked the reception 3 time to fix it, because other rooms can get those channels, then nothing happened or even came to me from your maintenance team.

All of the staff was great, from the room cleaning staff, the restaurant staff, and the front desk. But the concierge Mustapha was the best I've seen at any hotel, anywhere. Every time I left the hotel or arrived after a busy day he greeted me, asked how I was and if he could help me in any way. This went on every day I was there, for 7 weeks! This man made me feel as if Le Merdien was my home. Thank you Mustapha!

Stay in Meridian hotel is very good, there are very good reception staff who meet you with smile and great support.
rooms is very clean and very great from service room and quick response .
most of required things for stay was very satisfy for me and no comment.
If I have chance to stay I will stay in Meridian only.

I woud recommend this hotel based on past experience and great staff attitude and service.
On this visit I boooked a Club kingsize room with free internent and got a twin bed room - no tea and coffee and request to pay for the interent. All sorted out eventually but I believe this should have been explained to me on check in

the hotel is nice and quite with a good location which meets every business requirements.
the hotel has the business lounge which is great to have some rest and take some coffe with a very nice view over there.
the room is very comfortable and clean and the food in the resturant is really tasty and served good.

The security guys at the front need some training on how to deal with people , when they want to check the trunk of the car they knock on the trunk repeatedly in a very disrespectful way .

I only stayed there for one night, got there really late from my flight and left before breakfast to catch my other flight. It was a good location, on the main street, not too far from the airport, but there are other hotels closer. The room was nice, big and comfortable. The bed and pillow were great. Considering I was a woman traveling by myself staff was nice and polite.

The overall service is excellent, the reception staff were very helpful and supportive at all times. Hotel is clean and nicely located in the heart of the city.

Regularly stay at this hotel because of its location and courteous service by its staff. However I was surprised this time as they failed to acknowledge my SPG and not provide any upgrade. Further the level of service of front desk needs to be reviewed by the hotel.

I use to stay at this hotel very often 10 years ago & then moved to stay other hotels during my visit as access to the hotel was getting difficult. I thought to try it out again and it brought back the good 10 year old memories back.

Stayed last week in the hotel it is very confortable, service is fantastic the reception staff were very good , room was more than great in all aspects .
2 points wanted to bring to your attention , and Espresso machin in the suite would be great, and thanks for the free espress vouchers .
Breakfast was standard have expected more .

iam staying in Le Meridien Jeddah from Jan-2009 and I was very happy continue my stay with them but recently the service level dropped and the treatment for GOLD member is not up to the standard.

Staff is super friendly and professional.
Valet is a continuous problem .... un-organised and always chaotic causing frustrations for everyone ... guests and staff!.
Also, the IT setup seems always breaks down ... you could not reach the operator or any other function for 1 hour for 'IT Issues'. Also wireless access is a problem.

Checkin was smooth.
Spacious rooms but quite old. No views around the hotel.
i had food on the hotel restaurant.While the food was ok, the decoration of the restaurant dates back o the 80s.
Generally the staff is nice and friendly. But the hotel desperately needs renovation to all facilities.

the hotel needs a refurbishment. rooms smells wierd (that s my second stay and non smoking rooms). AC very cool and cannot be set properly.
matrasse, at one side more wearn then the other. window from outside very dirty.
brealfast is good. had diner at texan, was OK, only the waiter had no clue.

Every staff member was polite and professional.
Nothing too much for them to do.
Rooms are very comfortable and facilities are very useful.
Clean and tidy.
Quite and sound proof.
My room had an iLuv which was of a great quality.
Nice TV screen and the channels were excellent.
