The reception area is a mess, the desks should be removed and a proper counter installed. The customer service is not that good, staff need to be better trained to meet customer needs.
There is a lack of facilities such as a gym and a decent coffee shop. The restaurant is ok, but I don't think that hearing a member of staff clearing their throat whilst in the restaurant is particularly appealing. There are too many large tables in the restaurant as well.
At best it is mediocre

I found this hotel very noisy both from other guests and the car park. Very poor customer service......I requested room service and was told to call back in 20 mins, check out was an adventure!!!!
No fitness center!!

The hotel needs a complete overhaul. The staff need proper training. The staff try but are clearly not properly managed. The standard of the food is not good and the restaurant area is old and tired.
The WiFi is expensive.
I have stayed in the Meridien Madinah 3 times and this standard has been equally unsatisfactory each time.
