In particular mention must be made of the guest relations where the service is beyond the call of duty.The staff are very courteous and helpful and look into the problems fast. Rated 2 out of 5 by Couldnt sleep 2 night couldn't sleep for 2 consecutive night because of the loud music coming from the wedding parties and when I requested to talk with the manager for 2 times always I was informed that not available.. even when I called the reception many times ,no response I stayed at this hotel because it is the only starwood hotel in that area August 22, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by bad experience The reception staff at this hotel prefer not be bothered by us customers; they are irritated when you ask about anything, and are very short on words responding. In their vocabulary you will never hear the words "welcome" or "have a seat" or "please" or "thank you" or even "Good bye", the phrases you're used to hear when staying at a 5 star hotel. I asked for the Laundry service; response: "call us after 9:30am". Okay, I will iron my own shirt, so do you have an iron and ironing board?; response "no". I ordered room service; the main course arrived cold, and my desert was stale. Make sure you check your bathroom, before you unpack and settle in; My bathroom had a real bad smell. This was all comical to me, because I was just staying there for one night. Its a shame because this used to be a nice place to stay at, when visiting my favorite city of Medina. I just feel sorry for anyone who has to stay at this hotel for any extended period of time. August 14, 2014

Rated 3 out of 5 by Reasonable Experience The reception area is a mess, the desks should be removed and a proper counter installed. The customer service is not that good, staff need to be better trained to meet customer needs. There is a lack of facilities such as a gym and a decent coffee shop. The restaurant is ok, but I don't think that hearing a member of staff clearing their throat whilst in the restaurant is particularly appealing. There are too many large tables in the restaurant as well. At best it is mediocre June 20, 2014
