Rated 3 out of 5 by artu okayish hotel with a lot of issues - beware of the noise, poor wifi and "hidden" charges”
The hotel is okayish at best.
Service overall is nice and friendly, but the check-in staff can appear to be behaving in too much of a familiar manner - especially when they see a single woman checking in. My wife had arrived at the hotel ahead of me and checked in on her own. She did not feel comfortable with the way the check-in staff behaved.
We had asked for a sea-view room and paid extra for it. Little did we realise that our balcony could be fully overlooked from the balcony of the floor above and there was absolutely no privacy whatsoever. Some mornings, we found our balcony full of cigarette butts and ashes dropped by the people on the balcony above us.
When you invite your guests to the hotel, be careful about the charges. We had a guest visiting us for 2hrs to have a lunch with us by the pool. On top of charging us for lunch, which is completely understandable, they also charges us additional 200 AED for use of the beach by the guest.
If they charge people for coming to visit us at the hotel, it would be nice if they could inform about it while people check-in or even book the hotel. Otherwise, it feels like a rip-off.
Plus, there is noise. There is a disco on the beach which blares very loud music all night long. And during the weekends, the crowd from the nearby Marina tends to organise jetski races right next to the hotel's beach. The noise is so loud that it is impossible to relax on the beach.
The wifi coverage is patchy and intermittent and far below the quality you would expect in a Le Meridien hotel
1. don't take the sea facing rooms - you will face the noise from the discos
2. don't go there during the weekends - the roar of jet ski races is such that you won't be able to relax
3. avoid staying on 9th floor - the balcony is completely overlooked by the floor above and expect to sweep up cigarette ashes and butts every morning.
4. don't stay there if you need reliable internet connection- the quality of wifi means that you won't be able to do any work done

This was the worst SPG hotel I have ever been to. Rooms dusty, checking takes long time, no recognition to SPG gold normal room, no one on SPG counter.

We stayed for 2 weeks here , (our second stay) everything about this hotel made our holiday a very enjoyable time. The staff were always ready to be helpfull be it reception , concierge restuarants and as we spent a lot of time round the pool the staff here could not do enough. Our room was so nice to go back to after a hot day in the sun and housekeeping were first class. Eating in the restuarants was a pleasure always a huge selection.Thanks once again for the best holiday.

Le Meridien Mina Seyahi is a fantastic beach hotel ! The staff is very friendly and we like the Club Lounge,especially for the afternoon tea and coffee (and if you wish a lot of other drinks)
The beach is excellent and so is the beach staff, very nice people! Our kids loved the Halloween Party. Breakfast is very good.
We have been in a lot of hotels all over the world, but propably this was the best hotel.

I would like to say that I am a SPG Member for the past 10 years , but I have never seen a worst experience than the one that I had in an SPG hotel .
Front Manager are very unprofessional that doesn't know how customer satisfaction are met .
