I got a room with a broken shower. I had to ask twice before it was fixed on the 3rd day of my stay.
The room service isn't 5 stars. The room cleanness is average; the toilette kit is always missing the teeth brush and the shaving kit.
I have to daily ask about the complimentary fruit basket and it is never on time received.
The quality of food is bad at the breakfast and the floor operations are so slow.

I'm staying frequently at Royla Meridien ABu Dhabi (almost every week end) I do not understand why Management gives me ALWAYS different rates - last time (6 to 7 March) I was given the room 1011 - a corner room with a view on the city) I pay the usual rate. It seems that being a frequent client does not mean anything for the hotel management.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Saceroo Upgrading - what you get for 200 Dirhams p.night
I upgraded in advance of arriving at Le Royal Meridien hotel in Abu Dhabi. My first room was in the small block but was overlooking the pool/bar and the noise from the live band was unacceptable. I asked to change and was given a 'suite' in the main hotel. Although this room (not a suite) was much quieter and I was able to work, it was not comfortable because the three small windows made it dark all day long. I had to keep the lights on - even at mid-day. I also failed to receive the room service quality that had been promised as part of the upgrading package. My advice - it's not worth upgrading!

This was a great experience at this hotel. It was in a great location with excellent amenities. The staff was very professional and always willing to help, the spa and health club were excellent and the comfort of the rooms were as promised.
I will definitely stay here the next time I come to Abu Dhabi

Very comfortable, totally renovated hotel. Great management and customer service. House cleaning failed to live up to the Le Meridien brand name. Need improvement
