Rated 5 out of 5 by Didn't disappoint!! Third year running we have come to this hotel and can honestly say it is the best holiday ever. I love it, my husband loves it and all three children love it. Everything was perfect, staff very friendly and helpful, food great. The staff remember you from previous years which makes you feel special and we came across guests we have met in previous years. Everyone keeps coming back. Few names to mention; Bashu, Suminda, Laxman, Mohan Singh, Vassin, Jegan, Malith & Geeth keep up the good work! Would be nice to have an indoor bar area to use at night with children as Astro's isn't child friendly and the beach bar was too hot to use at night. Would you also consider a lazy river to connect the pool to the new children's pool area you are expanding as you already have the river there where you are putting in a fountain???? Would be a nice touch! Looking forward to coming back next year! June 2, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by Situated in a most beautiful part of dubai As soon as we arrived the staff and manager were there to greet us.From there on we were overwhelmed by the helpfulness and politeness of all the staff from bar staff,pool attendants to the waitresses.Our room was beautiful with a large veranda.would recommend this hotel to all my friends..... Rated 5 out of 5 by A glorious hidden gem Le Meridien Dibba is a fabulous destination for relaxing under the Arabian sun. Although this is an established hotel, the recent make-over brings a new charm to the existing features of the hotel. The rooms are modern and elegant, with a balcony overlooking the calm, peaceful sea. What would a hotel be without its hardworking and friendly staff. You will be welcomed with a smile and you will be treated like a king (or queen for that matter). This hotel has the best staff in the world and they make your stay worth it! It was one such night to remember as the property has fulfilled all my expectations and a special and notable thanks to the people who attended room service specially Mr. Palani and Mr. Prabhu... Rated 5 out of 5 by Will go back for sure :) We went there for a short weekend break. We were greeted by the deputy manger upon arrival. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We received an upgrade to executive suite which added to our enjoyment of the resort. The pool and the beach are the best in town. December 4, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Hotel, Excellent Staff and Le Meridien Style Le Meridien Al Aqah Beach Resort is a destination itself that can not be missed! I was looking for a hotel last minute that had great service, awesome facilities and amazing staff. After a friend mentioned this resort, I am glad I rented a car and drove less than 2 hours with traffic from Dubai for this getaway. First and foremost, when checking in the hotel, the valet and front desk staff are eager to check you in your room and get you out of the lobby to start your holiday or business. I really enjoyed the display of free Arabic coffee and dates. I helped myself to some while checking in. Once you are in your room, you will feel the Le Meridien touch. My room was on a high floor overlooking everything the ocean. I had a huge balcony as well. The beds are plush and the amenities inside are generous. This hotel did not overlook anything when providing total guest satisfaction. The gym is state of the art! I really liked the abundance of machines and weights. Attached is a steam room, jacuzzi and sauna to relax. The spa is a relaxation must while here as well. I had a one hour massage that took away all of my jetlag after 18 hours of flying from San Francisco. The pool and private beach are amazing. This pool is huge and there is a pool bar, beach bar and activities for the kids. The diving center is amazing. They take last minute bookings, but book in advance! This was the favorite part of my trip because rather than driving an hour to get to a port to depart for your scuba dive or snorkel trip, the hotel has an area where you leave by boat on site. That saves so much time while on vacation. Book any tour with them and you will be taken care of.... Last, the service of the staff is phenomenal. Some of the hotels in the Middle East lack 5 star service, but Le Meridien has met the demands of even the most discerning traveler. I had requests that were met with smiles. If it was extra towels, tips on the area, things to do at night or just standard housekeeping, it was all above and beyond the expected. This is a remarkable hotel that will be a vacation spot for me many years to come! October 22, 2014

Rated 2 out of 5 by Good facilities, very poor house-keeping Hotel facilities were good, everything is there for great stay. House-keeping was not at all up to the std you would expect with these prices. No complementary water, no bath robe, no info of what to find in the hotel was in the room and no refill of the mini bar. Despite managerial staff was told, nothing happened. We spent a week in late September at the hotel and it exceeded our expectations; the room (superior) was very comfortable, spacious, well appointed and newly refurbished. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great experience, we loved this Hotel Me and my wife came over for a short trip to experience one of the best Le Meridien Hotels we had been so far. We loved the warm and pro-active staff, the spacious and high-end equipped rooms, the huge variety of food at the different restaurants, (my favorite is the fish restaurant) and the great dive and sea facilities. For people doing business in Dubai it is a perfect weekend destination and for families and couples from outside the UAE a beautiful Holiday resort they shouldn't miss. September 29, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Another great stay The difference between a good hotel and a great hotel is simply explained: People! People that threat you like an old friend, people that go the extra mile to make you feel valued. We have just completed our 3rd visit and have yet again experienced a warm welcome throughout our stay. I recently read some negative comments regarding "a limited breakfast" I am not sure what these people eat at home but whatever it is I am sure they complain for the mere sake of it.. Breakfast, and all other meals, are of the highest standard with a huge choice. To complain is an insult to a catering staff trying hard to make your stay at the Hotel a great culinary experience. We had some minor niggles that were dealt with immidiate, from us, nothing that praise for the people that make Le Meridien a fabulous home from home.. September 25, 2014

After a long drive from Dubai, to be immediately welcomed with a cold towel and an even colder drink was brilliant. The service comes naturally, and you feel that the associates are doing it well because they want to do it well, and this makes the difference. September 16, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Could Have Been Better Reception was over crowded with outward guests, room was not available for nearly 5 hours from arival. Request for non-feather pillows was not dealt with til the last night. Room A/C control was not fully functional Duvet was intended for a winter destination not a desert destination. No sheet on the bed so one could get relief from heat yet not be exposed to the A/C Spa area smelled of Mildew Buffet food selection was not great and most food over cooked. 7 pm the pool and beach closed, yet the beach and pool bar remained open til midnight. guests should be allowed to relax or exercise in the pool at night, guests should be able to enjoy sitting seaside at night when on a holiday beach escape. Rated 2 out of 5 by What happened to Le Meridien Al Aqah I had been to this hotel many times. This was the first time we took with us all our kids and was really looking forward to it as our last experience of last year was fantastic when we celebrated our anniversary. Always, from 2004/2005? that I have been the first time, it's always been a fantastic hotel. Five star quality from the concierge, food and service. This year, I was too disappointed to the point of thinking if we will still give it another chance. It's just not the same hotel that I know anymore. The ambiance is totally different. The people in the reception was in a mess. One lady doesn't even bother smiling (crumpled face I say). We waited 30 minutes to be served and another hour to check-in (The classic room was ready by 4:30pm). We booked 2 rooms (1 classic, 1 club room) for 2 nights. I booked online and indicated that I need an extra bed for my toddlers. I called to reconfirm this matter as well and to provide a cot as we decided to bring our baby. They confirmed that it will be provided. Surprised, surprised! No cot in the room. After calling, they came to provide the cot. The housekeeping turned up at 4:30pm the following day (and did not come back for turn-down!) at our club room. Imagine the state of our room with 3 kids! A total mess. The state of the hotel seemed to have aged so much since last year. The lighting was very poor. It was just dark and gloomy. The ambiance is also different. It doesn't have the "international" feel anymore. Breakfast -- well, I had always remember the first time I smelled that freshly brewed coffee, made my day happy. This time, it was a stale coffee that probably had been sitting there for more than an hour. It's sour. Just not fresh anymore. We were also told that breakfast is not included in the classic room (our two housemaids were staying in the room) and I had to explain several times that it is included and that I will sort it out with the reception afterwards. They apologized after double checking, saying that there was a problem as it was not reflected in their system, but ofcourse, it's not a very good start of the morning when you experience something like that. The kids enjoyed the Penguins club. The staff there were accommodating. I don't know what happened to Le Meridien Al Aqah. It used to be perfect. The staff used to be ALL happy and welcoming. What happened? It saddened me to see this property goes downhill. Upon check-out, as we do have a roof rack for the car, my husband was thinking of giving the concierge a good tip as they will help him with our bags. Well, he did not receive the help and decided not to give them any money. We do have 2 vouchers for free nights but thinking if it would be worth a visit or would just be the same messy experience.
