My wife and I have been to Dubai & Abu Dhabi on three previous occasions and thought as this year we celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary it would be nice to go again as the weather would be guaranteed. We checked out various holidays and one of the travel agents had the Le Meridien on the list and we noticed the all inclusive option. We have never been all inclusive before but as this was a beach location and we wanted to relax and be lazy for five days we chose this. All I can say is what a perfect choice we made, the hotel is wonderful, it is spotlessly clean, the staff are all helpful and courteous, the food is varied and very good. We ate at the Italian resteraunt twice where you can have the set menu as part of your all inclusive evening meal and your drinks are part of the all inclusive. The pool bar was excellent you could have your lunch here as part of your A.I. and the staff here and at the beach bar were more than helpful. We got sun beds (which there are plenty of as it is such a large pool) just by the pool bar and the pool and were able to go from our sun beds into the pool for a cool off (temps were around 35c to 38 c) to the pool bar for a drinks in about 15 paces. As I said earlier your drinks (all drinks were the best branded names, Stella on tap was very nice, very cold as well) wherever you dined in the hotel were all part of the A.I. The beach was clean and very nice, lots of things to do. There was a courtesy bus to Dubai which was a two hour trip and one to Fujairah which was about one hour, but we were very comfortable lazing by the pool or on the beach so we didn't leave the hotel in our five days there. To top it all off, my bill at the end of five very enjoyable days was NIL. We will be back.

great hotel we enjoyed , every thing went well from the time we checked-in till we checked-out , better then other heotels in that area that i have already tried brfore. but there are a few things that I noticed andIm sure they can be fixed easly:
-the terrace for the room wasn’t very clean.
-some of the staff are not so qualified , we ordered food a few time on the pool but it wasn’t so easy and we had to wait 30 - 40 minutes till we were served.
-more clear direction signs are required for the hotel facilities.
-the reception did their job in an excellent manner in check-in and check-out but they should be more welcoming and try to smile to the guests.

This was our first visit to this resort, we have been wanting to come for the last 7 years and the wait was well worth it. The hotel was full but you never felt that it was busy or any request was too much. We loved every moment and look forward to returning again soon,
The pool bar needs more qualified staff and a blender that works, it was often busy there and a lot of cocktails are ordered, there really is a difference in the standard and quality of the drinks compared to all your other outlets, which is a shame.
That said we still loved every moment and hope to see you again soon.

After diving with the onsite dive centre, it was a treat to stay at the hotel, check in was swift and efficient with a lovely cold towel and orange juice.
The rooms are spacious and very clean, the beds are perfect so comfortable and the bathroom spacious. The little touches in the room made it great for a short stay i.e. bathrobe and slippers, tea and coffee etc.
The staff were very helpful and the food was very good although I would recommend the Italiain over The Views restaurant for a more quieter meal.
The hotel was full when we stayed but there were still plenty of sunbeds and you didn't feel it was full either.
I look forward to coming back very soon.

the Pool water was so hot at noon and afternoon.
the pool bar was full of kids and was very noisy, usually the kids are not allowed at pool bar area in most of hotels.
the drinks more expensive compared to other 5 star similar hotels.
there is a night bar at 20th floor which looked more like kindergarden at 10 PM!! , it was karaoke night and full of kids!! every kid had a microphone in hand and made loud and disturbing sounds!! most of the guests left the bar , we also couldnt stand the noise and left the another bar at another hotel!! I was really shocked!
the only good point about the hotel is comfortable rooms only.

I had heard a lot about this hotel. However, when we reached, it looked more like a corporate office than a beach resort. The room was spacious and comfortable for us and 2 kids. The bathroom was nice. Service everywhere, while friendly, was slow. However the food was awful! The pool food was especially bad. The restaurant food was also very disappointing considering this is a le meridian. I think maybe the Italian restaurant had relatively better food but the service was terrible. It took them 10 mins to get us another plate and when we asked for extra spoons to share the dessert.......we gave up in exasperation!

A very pleasant stay.
What I experienced was similar to what I googled before the trip.
The hotel is far away from Dubai (ca. 1.5 to 2 hrs) but I was there for the beach/sea - which are excellent (but watch for jelly fish). They also offer free shuttle bus to Dubai and Fujairah. Clean pool, enough place, towel service etc. Very good gym, sauna, hair dresser, pedicure, massage. Nice beach restaurant, beach/pool bar. (Beer/wine is expensive as expected)
Very very friendly staff.
I took a room at 16th floor (as recommended in internet). Splendid views - but honestly, a room on a lower froor offers the views as well.

We were dissapointed that out of the two rooms we booked, one room was not available for checkin until 5pm! This was the last thing we expected from the hotel! Even worse was that we felt the hotel staff were not being honest with us as we could not get a reason as to why we were delayed.
We also smelt what felt like bed bug spray on the mattress. We could smell it through the sheets. Considering what we went through to check in, we decided just to sleep on it but were careful to be fully dressed when sleeping.
The breakfast needs improvement and staff in the restaurant were also not very friendly.
Otherwise, the facilities were amazing and the Goju restaurant staff were attention and very impressed with them.

When we arrived we were told we got an upgrade = but I booked this myself.
The staff and service on the pool area is just below any standard. Cold food was served two times during 2 days = while the food was waiting at the pool bar to be delivered the staff was too busy chatting. Takes ages to get a drink, and no one pays attention
My suite-room had an airconditioning that was making a rattling noise all night - every hour I had to turn it off and it turned itself on again, making the noise and causing me not to sleep for the whole night. When I then noted this to the frontdesk staff they seemed to know about this and made a note. No apologies, no nothing.
This was a dreadfull, never again experience.

We have stayed at this hotel on 3 previous occasions but this time there were too few staff (especially at the poolside bars) and they all seemed too rushed to give the service we have had before.
Rooms were not cleaned thoroughly for 2-3 days at a time. Restaurants were packed and although there was a huge choice of dishes, the themed nights bore little relevance to the food.
The weather was stunning, beach was superb and despite the above, we had an enjoyable stay. I think the best advice is not to go there when it is full.

Everything was very well managed for us from Check-in to Checkout.
Stunning landscapes, serene Environment, unspoilt beach and total relaxation weekend.
Staff seems to be very well trained in ensuring that they are courteous and customer friendly
Since we arrived after 21.00 hours we would have appreciated our request for late checkout to be honored, we were given just 1 hour grace, we were told that the hotel was fully booked for the next day, understandable. We were still allowed to use all facilities until evening which was excellent.
Will definitely visit again!!

It is ridiculous that at the pool we must present the blue cards and pick up the towels from there and give them back on our way out. Is this a 5-star hotel??? What if I forget my cards? Do I suppose to go back to my room and create this discomfort situation to the guest? Non-Sense at all. Hotel must make things easy and convinient. No cards should be carried and we should not put the towels and carry them but the hotel staff. We should say room number. If you need a computer there to verify names, etc, go ahead but this sheet and pencil, showing cards and carry towels is unacceptable

I have stayed at this hotel a few times and it never ceases to amaze me and my family. It gets better and better each time I stay. The staff are very polite, professional and extremely caring. It was my birthday, the hotel gave me and my family a room upgrade and I had a birthday cake delivered to my room on the day. The superior deluxe room we were upgraded too was outstanding! I will be returning again next year with my family.

We had a long bank holiday this week. We decided to go to Al Aqah as its a couple of hours drive from Dubai where we live. The experience starts out amazing when i made a call to the WW reservation center. the guys there took my SPG number and actually arranged a fantastic room against my points. The second night the hotel was fully booked but the staff at the front desk really went above and beyond to make our second night happen... was great fun, the kids loved it, my wife and I had an unplanned date at the Indian restaurant which was sublime. this will become a family ritual. kudos to the whole team, Amer form the WW Sales and reservation center, Ahmed and Mohammed from the front desk, Walter from the pool bar and Patrick the GM. see you soon guys

Myself and my family have just come back from spending the weekend at this hotel. From the initial check in to check out 2 days later the staff were absolutely fantastic, everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel rooms all have a sea facing view and the rooms were very well presented. I will definitely be returning to this hotel and will recommend to friends.
Thank you to all of the staff for making our weekend away so fantastic.

A very nice hotel set in lovely grounds which were very well cared for including the pool area which is large and very clean. Hotel is in a great location situated right on the sandy beach. The food was varied and plentiful and cooked to perfection - great chefs! The only small criticism would be the accommodation. We booked a family room for 3 (a couple and our grandson) and assumed that as in other hotels we would be allocated 2 double (or king size) beds. However the room was furnished with a king size bed (great) and a folding bed (not great) for our grandson. We would have preferred a proper bed rather than a folding bed which was not as comfortable as a proper bed would have been. That being said our overall experience was excellent and I have to say that what makes this hotel really special are the staff who without exception were polite friendly and very helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and we will definitely be returning soon.

Le Meridien Al Aqah beach resort is our favourite place to visit when we want to get away from the very busy life in Dubai! The rooms with the view over the sea are very luxurious, beautiful and comfortable, the food is amazing and the pool area is fantastic! But on top of all these things is the wonderful staff! They really make you feel so special! You know for sure that anyone working in the hotel will always go this extra mile to make your stay memorable! We also appreciate the nice live music very much! We will continue to come back to this hotel again, and again and again!

Unfortunately, we only stayed one night but really enjoyed it. The club rooms are very spacious and the balcony a great size with good seating. Staff are very accommodating and very friendly. Food and beverage were good and service good.
