My wife and I stayed two nights. While she was drying her hair, the circuit breaker blew and we had no electricity (including no phone) in our room. It took 1/2 hour for the staff to reset the circuit breaker after we called the hotel on our cell phone. She continued drying her hair and the circuit breaker blew again. This time it took 4 hours for the staff to reset it. A prior guest left dirty clothes in one of the drawers. We were unable to get the water to run in the bathtub. Luckly, there was a separate shower. At check out the staff gave us a perfuntory "thank you" when we told them of our dissatisfaction. The food was poor to mediocre.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Letdown1234 Disappointed
I have stayed at the Parker before and love the amenities, products and décor. However the customer service level of this past trip was extremely disappointing. Amongst the disappointments were the front desk's inability to share a general timeline of when our room would be ready upon check-in, no towels by the pool for hours on a Sunday, an inability to reach room service for 30 minutes (even with the front desk's help) and the fact that it took an hour and forty-five minutes to receive a pot of coffee via room service. It was very obvious that they were understaffed and that the team lacked strong management.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cliffnelson One of my favorite hotels
Love The Parker. Such a fun place, with a cool vibe, great outdoor spaces, and food and drink a plenty. One of the few hotels where you can stay on the grounds all weekend and feel like there's more to do. Spa is great, love the hammocks, the lemonade stand is something I wish I could incorporate into everyday life. Service is usually great, but occasionally stand offish; their SPG recognition is not great by any stretch, would be nice if that improved. Love this place and already have my next trip planned!

hotel has gone down hill since I stayed last. found 2 enormous WaterBugs (roach like) in the room. One dead - the other still alive. Few toiletries that I thought were a really nice touch disappeared - hermes soap and Marvis toothpaste. left room one day at 11 - came back at 3 or 4 - and room still not cleaned. For the price we are paying - felt a little below old standards. the pool was MOBBED - no seats at all - felt that many people that were there had crashed from a different hotel.

I love the parker… However the quality of the food has dramatically dropped lately. Mr. Parker is overpriced and the food is terrible.

My wife used the woman's spa twice during our stay. There was hair in the sinks, trashcans were overflowing with trash. Grape stems were left in wet sauna room.Vey unclean and not up to Parkers high standards.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ImagineIt It's a nice hotel
The grounds are well-kept and spacious. The pool could have used some occasional maintenance as the adult pool water became pretty filthy by noon. If you would like to have transparent glass windows in your room, I highly recommend that you do not select the capacious but seemingly windowless "Estate" room . Yes, the opaque windows in our room did keep the room nice & cool during the day (great for post-pool napping!), but it was sad not to be able to see outside or have the option to throw open the blinds to get a glimpse of the blue sky in the morning regardless of the view. The porters, valet, pool servers (lemon heads), housekeeping, and waitstaff at Norma's were all wonderful and responsive. We did call "0" to request room service & the front desk said she would have them ring us back when they were not busy, but no one ever did call us back so after waiting 10 minutes, we just dialed "0" again. Would be nice to have reliable follow through. We were also denied a late checkout on the day of our departure. Overall not the best SPG experience to date and I didn't leave the Parker a raving fan, but the hotel grounds & rooms are unique, the food is great, and the staff is well-intentioned, so if you're in the Palm Springs area, it's worth at least a 1 night stay.

We've been regulars of the Parker Palm Springs for years now, and there's a reason: we're always well taken care of every time we stay. The staff is phenomenal (especially the GR team and the pool staff) and the grounds are incredibly special. There are so many nooks and crannies on the property that you can explore and hide away in. The food is fantastic at both Mister Parker's and Norma's, and as Platinum, I've always been upgraded to an amazing room that opens up to the Silicon Valley pool. Honestly, this property is fantastic and I can't stop talking about how awesome it is!
