Very helpful and nice personnel. My wife lost her bag and thanks to the prompt and very effective assitance of the security staff the problem was rsolved satisfactorily. I would like to express my warmest thanks to the Chief of Security who was really helpful and to the General Mnager whose kind attention was very much appreciated.
In general all the reception staff was vey nice and helpful.

Check-in was extremely profession & the staff spoke fluent English. The restaurant was incredible w/a Sommelier on staff. He was warm, charming & knowledgeable in all wines. And this was our lunch. No pressure to leave even though it was packed w/people waiting to get a table.
The people-watching can NOT be beat anywhere in the world. Extremely chic. Both men & women. Overall a great experience that I will repeat in the future.

Our experience here was fabulous, felt like a princess. Upon check-in we were upgraded to a ocean view room. The room was beautiful, woke up every morning to a view of the beach and yachts! The staff was friendly and attentive. This is a Great SPG hotel! Thanks for a memorable experience, can't wait to come back.

I have stayed for an extended weekend with my family, and the hotel was all we could wish for and more.
Food quality was good, the facilities were great - well organized beach, great drinks and welcoming Staff.
The only downside was the SPG recongnition - I had to wait at the front desk to check-in, even though our 4-year old son was sleeping whilst we held him, and the Platinum desk personnell was nowhere to be found. On my polite request, 2 female Staff members told me off to wait and informed they were busy.
We have also had an extreme experience with the Heli Air company - which is booked via the hotel. While we sat on the transfer bus, the driver informed, that the helicopter broke down. He then took us to the heliport, where we have been informed, that we could be drived with an old van to Nice airport for the price of 300 EUR. As we have denied the offer, the driver took us to a taxi stop (with no taxis) in the middle of nowhere and left us on the street.
I would rather recommend taking the hotel transfer to Nice.
On a positive note: Tiffany and Amandine. Positive, cool and total pros.

Although executive suite was available we were not allowed to be upgraded to that room type despite platinum status. Nevertheless they did accommodate us in a nice room with a beach view. Breakfast was delicious. The staff was very friendly and service was exceptional.

The hotel has a nice pool and beach area but this certainly isnt a category 6. The rooms are outdated as well as the hotel, it could use a facelift. To me a category 6 is a solid all around property, the fact that the hotel is run down makes it a cat 5 for me. Definitely not worth 20k pts per night. Also service by the pool could be better, nobody walking around to take orders etc.

We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights and although we satisfied overall , we were disturbed by screaming drunks outside at night time. Our recommendation would be to provide guests from Russia with instructions on a proper behavior while they visit cultural places in Europe.

I spent a pleasant week at the Meridien in Monaco. The staff were all very helpful and knowledgeable and I appreciated the quiet location of the hotel but still within easy reach of the town center.

The genuine, authentic, delightfully helpful and pleasant service was far and away the best I've ever experienced in any of four continents. The beach was a bit disappointing, but the compensation was that the pool had sea water in it.

I travel often and I was blown away by my experience at this hotel! I was a Gold member when I arrived at this hotel (became platinum during my trip) and the hotel manager went above and beyond my expectations to provide me with a truly wonderful upgraded room. The facilities of the hotel are absolutely phenomenal. The private beach is an oasis and the staff makes sure your ever need is taken care of. You are also not crammed in like sardines like many of the private beaches in places like the South of France. The pool is extremely large with many lounge chairs surrounding it and provides for a great place to cool off and an excellent place for children to play - should you have them. The restaurants that are on the open terrace were wonderful and the atmosphere was very romantic. The fitness facility was the best I have seen in a hotel in a long time and I made sure to take full advantage of it! The proximity of this hotel to the main spots in Monaco is good - during the day you can certainly walk along the boardwalk and to the casino/main area however, if you're dressed up for a night out you'll want to take a cab. All of the staff at the hotel were a delight - the concierge helped with restaurant bookings and the bell men at the door were entertaining and so quick to respond to every need. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone travelling to Monaco. I know I will certainly be back and cannot wait until the next time I get to stay!

One of the only hotels in Monte Carlo with its own private beach, this one is worth a look. Push for a room on the water side - some rooms look straight onto a freeway.
The beach of comfortable, and there is a lot of pool area to relax in, with a range of watersports activities. An indoor pool is available year round.
It's a short walk into town, so you can avoid taxis should you wish.
We were in a "design room" on the SPG floor, which had seen better days, and, oddly, had a large tub but no shower. Holding the spray handset over your head while the bathroom floor got wet quickly lost its appeal.
The buffet breakfast is a good spread with interesting takes on classic breakfast items. Small gripe - why charge SPG platinum members Euro 6 to upgrade from the Continental breakfast option. It's only six euros, but that swings both ways.
This hotel is in a great spot, and, with a little tightening, could be a great hotel.

Hotel very good, location good BUT
I think the prices for internal services are exorbitant: e. g. A water from the fridge in the room € 8.--, WIFI per hour € 8.-- per day 19.--
This when the large number of hotels offer free WIFI. Breakfast € 34.--
I like your hotel and i stayed several times there but these prices are crazy!

This hotel has its own nice and comfortable beach with few terrace bars with a picturesque view to the Cote d'Azure where guests able to enjoy themselves nearly 24 hours a day! Good chef !- Food is delicious !rooms are very comfortable and cozy! Room service on a very high level.

If only the American hotels can do the same!
2nd stay here in last two years..unbelievable setting. Staff, especially Vanessa, provide "over the top" welcome to SPG Platinum. Everyone, from mini-bar service, bellman, front desk, concierge speak better English than I do French.
Leaving now as the Grand Prix gets started...prefer peace and quiet of past week.

We only stayed for one night post cruise. A room was ready very early in the morning for us which we greatly appreciated. Comfortable and quiet room. Would have appreciated free WiFi in room but had to go to lobby for that. Loved the beach and outdoor seating. As with all of Monte Carlo prices for food were crazy expensive.

The hotel was a good as it always has been. The fact that is has a natural beach and sea access is a major plus.
However, with the room rates one pays, I would Wi-Fi to be included and not charged at ludicrous prices. Most people nowadays need it for work or even private related matters, and I would be much classier to have this included in the service.

Everything about Le Meridian Beach Plaza exceeded our expectations! The room was awesome and our balcony overlooking the sea was wonderful!! We had dinner outside on the restaurants patio. the food was delicious and the service impeccable. the staff was efficient and accomodating. I hope to visit Monaco again and will definitely choose this hotel again.

Our first room had to be changed as the carpet was very wet, and the staff moved us without a fuss. The second room was very clean and comfy. We did find it strange that there was no way of having a normal shower as the shower head had no way to mount to the wall, but we managed. Overall we found the staff very helpful and polite.

The room (already upgraded for me as Platinum member) does not fit with the hotel clasification of 6* and the requested rate per night (also considering my cash & points rate) - not cozy, only below standard compared with hiotels at Starwood I learnt during my lot of travels

I asked for a handicapped room. We were happy to discover that the room was actually accessible with a wheelchair. The staff was very helpful to make the room and shower as safe as possible. The view from our room was wonderful! Right on the beach. The food was very good for breakfast ! Dinner had a limited menu but good.

The room and view from the 11th floor was fabulous however the bathroom was one of the worst I have ever been in for a luxury hotel. There was no shower. In the tub which was very deep and hard to get in and out of was a hand shower but no holder or shower curtain making it impossible for senior citizens to shower.......

Another fantastic experience with Gregory and his excellent staff (Jean Paul, Virginie and Raymond). The personal attention to details that made our trip and stay spectacular. We have been staying at this location since it was taken over by Le Meridien and each year it keeps getting better!

During my check in the employee was eating wrigleys and felt extremly cool.... The check out lady had no interest at all to ask how the stay was and would welcome the guest again. I have never seen such a bad service in a hotel with that attitude before. Never ever again!

Wonderful two day stay in a very good hotel. The room was spectacular with a wide sea view. Excellent service and a helpful staff, even to the point of advising that it would be cheaper to park across the road in a parking station. Good facilities, great pool and beach.

Hotel Needs improvement, in terms of F&B, Exclusive F&B area for for SPG or Club Floors.
Need massive improvement cleanliness, Need deep cleaning of rooms. Some electrical Gadgetry was not working.
ALL management Staff was courteous, attentive and prompt in service.
