was kind of worried for the area (a.k.a. patpong street) but it was lively and close to subway and easy to get a cab location. all the staffs were nice and professional.

the restaurant offered a superb buffet for a very good price with a wide selection of dishes.
It also reves up one of the best choices for breakfast in Bangkok.

plese do not let customer who stay your hotel to take a girl to their room because I saw three japanese take 3 girls from ourside to their room at night time

Good modern rooms with a retro look and feel. Spacious rooms and bathrooms with all amenities. Having a lot of water for the guests is very well appreciated.

I tried Le Méridien as my preferred hotel was fully booked, and it ended up being the mediocre stay that I have come to expect from Le Méridien brand.
1) Bad location - Unless your idea of good location involves wasting time in traffic and being close to massage parlours
2) Average staff - Front desk staff who is nice but claims the hotel was full as excuse for not upgrading my room (no big deal as I was staying one night only - but I showed them the SPG app who showed at least 3 normal suites available, at 10pm ...)
Breakfast is understaffed and quite passive, even though the breakfast room was far from full
The front desk manager upon checkout was however very attentive to my feedback
3) Average room - I was 'upgraded' to a normal room on the last floor. Usual, average quality Le Méridien bed / amenities, small working space, limited natural light
4) Latest Recipe - Had a late dinner there, after the buffet had closed. That place looks ghostly at night - quickly finished my bite and left.
Overall - Avoid if you're on business and are used to SPG's other brands, you'll be disappointed, particularly since the property is new.

Rated 4 out of 5 by SINK Comfortable Hotel and Excellent Staff
A bit out of the way for those who love Sukhumvit. And I am one of them, especially after the opening of Terminal 21. LM BKK does treat SPG Platinum very well. I was upgraded to the Avantec suite on both occasions (on opposite ends and sides). The room is very nice. Although the shower is quite large, the shower door and the placement of the shower heads are poorly designed. The bathroom floor is always flooded after every single shower, no matter how careful I was. As noted by others, the walls are paper thin. When I was sitting by the desk in the living surfing the web, I could hear my next door neighbor talking and taking things out of a plastic bag. That is very scary. Anyhow, the free breakfast for SPG platinum members was nice with plenty of fresh fruits (and even fresh whole coconuts). The hot food was blah. Noodle bar was decent but wish they seasoned it. Location of the hotel was ok (a bit far from BTS). As stated early, I much prefer the ones on Sukhumvit. On both occasions after checking after 4PM, I had to wait over an hour to get my room. I guess many SPG Platinum members were exercising their 4PM late check out benefit.

The location is a little bit difficult to get to, but rooms are very nice and food are excellent. Staff are also very friendly and willing to help.

Greeting from Le Meridien Khao Lak Beach and Spa Resort Phang Nga
This is my first time staying at Le Meridien Bangkok on 6-7 September 2013. it had been great.
The staff here is friendly and helpfully start from Bell boy,Concierge Khun ITD or IT (White tall guy in the morning shift), i think i can not remember his name,he was so enthusiastic and helpful, plus his bright smile truly convince me .
Check-in was painless. Just hand over your ID card and a cc. If you Check-in during regular hours, they offer you a welcome drink from illy's (sp) coffee shop.
The rooms are nice with a little sofa by the window. We were facing the temple.The bathroom can look into the bedroom.
Khun Ekepailin and Khun Waan - Service staff at breakfast are very nice and helpful, she taking care us during our breakfast.
Khun Pisit or Bozoe i think, Kitchen staff, he is very friendly and helpful and he can remember my egg order!! it very nice.. thank you Khun Bozoe.
Thank you Asst. Food and Beverage manager for your good service that you give for us during our breakfast.
I would certainly stay again in this hotel in my next visit...
Overall a very nice hotel.

Met my husband in Bangkok at this hotel after his conference. I arrived at 11pm and we flew out the following morning on an early flight to Koh Samui. Le Meridien Bangkok was exactly what we both needed. Hubby to relax in some luxurious surroundings after a long work schedule and myself, flying in directly from Sydney, I was pampered by the surroundings of our gorgeous room, with an amazing view and I must admit the MOST AMAZINGLY comfortable circular shaped bed we have ever slept on and we have travelled the world quite a bit. Actually I think I may need to contact the hotel to try and replicate the exact underlay and pillows for our home - it was just devine. I have raved on to everyone I speak to about the bed since our return!
Breakfast was also wonderful with many different tastes catered to and a wide variety of everything available, with prompt and friendly staff attending to us, as we were on a tight schedule.
Location is also great.
Unfortunately not enough time to check out the amenities however would thoroughly recommend this hotel to all our family/friends and also would love to stay there on any return trips to Bangkok. That bed is a HUGE draw card for us - LOVED IT!!!
