Rated 5 out of 5 by Coxy Good SPG recognition
I stay at Le Meridien when in Bangkok. It is a wonderful hotel that always meets my expectations. 95% of the time there are SPG Plat upgrades for those eligible. The location is superb. Forget Patpong! There are a number of wonderful cheap Japanese restaurants within the immediate area. 7/11 next door for those immediate supplies and Family Mart across the road. Will be back to stay here again shortly. Thank you to all the staff for making my stay feel like home.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dmilsi Another Great Stay
I've been staying here since it opened and while service has slipped a bit, it's still a wonderfully-situated property with great platinum recognition and excellent food for breakfast and happy hour. The spa offers wonderful and reasonably-priced massages and private steam facilities. Easy access to BTS and MRT, night markets and restaurants. If you're a light sleeper, stay on the non-Patpong side of the hotel.

Came here last week for 3 days liked it so much came back for 6 more days. just a very fun place to be everything handy. And I don't know how to put it but it feels like to me Bangkok. The staff here are amazing always on high and helpful. Oh most important the air conditioning in the room is great and here you really need it. Fun place to stay night market is here where you can buy all your high end items cheap ha ha.
I would give this hotel a 5 stars but i cant because my 2 favorite hotels anywhere are here in Bangkok but i still like to stay here for fun and get a taste of what Bangkok should feel like.
Oh yes the spa here is great as well.

- Nice rooms and suites.
- Good reception staff.
- Very good buffets and good service.
- Excellent bar and bartenders.
I hope the word does not go around too much.
Downside: the location.
The music ("world") used to be excellent and added to the sophistication of the hotel. It was recently changed to old hits (Sheraton type of music).

Rated 1 out of 5 by Sallen Not up to Le Meridian standards
Not recognized as a platinum member. No upgrade, was not placed in an SPG member floor. Had to prove status level. Was told I would be contacted by the manager the following day regarding upgrade and was never contacted. Charged for breakfast.

This was my second stay at the LM Bangkok and I have to say, I loved it just as much as the first time. The level of service provided by the staff is exceptional and they go above and beyond to make everyone's experience outstanding. The rooms are great. Always clean, comfortable and modern. They also offer great views of the city. I love the LM Bangkok and would stay there anytime!

Rated 5 out of 5 by NealZ Best hotel in the entire SPG Portfolio
This was my fourth stay at Le Meridien Bangkok in the past 2 years. It is, without question, my absolute favorite hotel in the entire SPG Portfolio, anywhere in the world. This hotel has the most friendly, professional, and attentive staff of any hotel. I feel like a welcomed friend coming home every time I return to Le Meridien Bangkok.
I'm very demanding and I have very high expectations. Le Meridien Bangkok exceeds my expectations in every category... and it just keeps getting better

I stay regularly for business purposes.
This trip I had an evening flight around 8 pm.
Needed tpo leave the hotel around 5 pm.
I was quite happy to pay the usual 50% day rate but a most unhelpful front desk employee insisited on trying to charge me for a full day . I pointed out I could still book a room on Expedia for half that. He wasn't impressed so I went back to my room and booked on Expedia as I had told him.
Back down to the front desk ,check-out and then check-in again........I asked to see the duty manager who was ''unavailable'' to point out the sillyness of my situation. Eventually a more helpful front desl employee at least arranged that I didn't actually have to change the room.
Not very impressed as a regular guest . There are many fine hotels in Bangkok and I suspect I'll look elsewhwere next time.
