I spend over 200 nights at year in hotels and am long-time platinum starwood member. This hotel is not the most elegant one in Dallas but room is clean and sizeable. The location is great and the gym and health facilities met my expectations. I found the staff to be helpful and courteous.

Jennifer and her staff at the Le Meriden Dallas are professional and very helpful. As a Platinum member they treated me with respect and met all my needs. Location is great and close to great shopping and restaurants. Breakfast was amazing and everything you could ask for!

The hotel is well appointed in the public areas and the rooms. Rooms are spacious with a nice layout. I showed up at 10:00am and requested an early check in and was told that they would get a hold of me shortly when the room was ready. Four hours later I received a call.

I love this hotel. It is very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staffs were very professionals and welcoming. Buffet breakfast was excellent. Nothing to complain. Will definitely recommend and stay at the Meridien again whenever I am in Dallas

Spent a week here on a business trip (which was also held at the hotel). The staff were very courteous, the room was EXTREMELY comfortable (I did notice some issues with the door not unlocking properly at times; fortunately it had no problem LOCKING, so I was never concerned for my safety). The restaurant had great food, and they also catered the business event, with some of the best snacks I've ever had on a business trip. Free Wi-Fi/wired was great.
My only real gripe is that, since I didn't already have an SPG card (I signed up for one on my first day), the stay didn't count towards my membership, which kind of stinks. Had I known that before I signed up, I probably would not have bothered. But I still managed to rack up some points by not electing to have housekeeping come in while I was there (I had plenty of towels and I'm not a slob, so no point, really).
All in all, it's a great hotel. It's a pricy hotel, so I'm glad my company was paying for it (didn't get the business rate as we registered last minute).

I was in town on business for one night only and the le Meridien was right there at the venue. The room was amazing and comfortable; just what I needed after a long, extremely busy day.
The only down fall is that there are ZERO parking spaces for anyone to come visit.

The staff at this location is beyond amazing! We were gracioulsy greeted by Francesca at the desk and found a true gem. She was awesome. Along with Francesca we had the pleasure of meeting Marcos and Que (both of Valet) and both were great people! Our stay was perfect!

Sometime in August 2010 a $10-million renovation for the new Le Meridien Hotel in Dallas, Texas was completed. Where did they put the money?
Everything in this hotel is cheap chic. Furnishings and seating are too trendy to be really comfortable. Funky colors, looks like a rainbow threw-up.
The rooms are spacious and large.
The towels are thread bare, the floor finishes tired, the bath tub worn, the shower head marginal, the soap dish broken.
There is no real attention to detail. The room is clean only in the academic sense. There are obvious signs of vacuuming around the furniture, but not under it, particularly around the coffee table and floating furniture. The coffee station is barely acceptable.
Did I mention that the furniture is really uncomfortable.
Hotel management pays lip service with ubiquitous apologies and "we take your feedback very seriously" but does little or nothing except to pay more lip service.
It appears the entire hotel industry, including long time trusted names, are racing to the bottom.

As soon as I arrived at the hotel, I was greeted at the desk by a woman whom never said "Hello" or "How are you" just "ID and credit card?" She did put us in a lovely room, but just the manner in which I was greeted was definitely something that could use improvement.
The doormen and bell boys were absolutely fantastic. Every time I came in and out of the hotel they greeted me and said goodbye to me.
Every time that I called the front desk however, everything I asked for something seemed to be inconvenient for them. I asked them to name a few restaurants that delivered to the hotel and they told me there were too many to name and they would try to bring up a menu of restaurants that delivered, and I never got that. I also called down to the front desk to ask if they could send up an extra towel, and that too never came.
I really loved the hotel rooms, and the room was always cleaned and very well kept.
(I stayed at the hotel for 5 nights all together).

When I first arrived the manager Jess took the time to remember my name. The rooms were very nice and had a wonderful array of technology which is very important to me. As I will be traveling to Dallas a lot in the near future I will be staying at this hotel soon.

Staff was wonderful. Beautiful contemporary style. Good breakfast. The rooms were looked clean but had an underneath dirty smell. Towels smelled also.Bed was comfortable. Overall would not go back but sure wouldn't mark it off as trying again sometime later.

I stayed here for two nights and was very pleasantly surprised. If you are looking for a nice, sedate, upscale and well appointed room with all of the modern amenities with a dash of luxury, this hotel will not disappoint. I was upgraded to a junior suite (being Platinum with Starwood) which was very much appreciated. Great, large HD TV's in-room with Lodgenet supporting my iPhone app which is a small thing, but it is often times those little things that make a difference. Water pressure in-room was great, better than most hotels these days, and bathroom was spacious and the room in general quite comfortable.
The breakfast display was terrific, and moderately priced with great offerings like smoked salmon, and omelets cooked to order. Service was excellent!
And oh yes, as a mark of the extent to which the management has their pulse on what the customer base wants, I was pleasantly surprised to find a the front lobby lined with Macs! Yeah!
Overall, an excellent property at a fair price in a good location.Would highly recommend.

Our stay in Dallas was perfect because it started off that way during our check in. Candi and Robin were exceptional. My girlfriends complimented my recommendation to stay at the Le Meridian/Galleria!! They went above and beyond to make us feel SPECIAL!!

This hotel is my second home. I travel for work and this hotel goes above and beyond. The front desk are very friendly and they remember you. The bar/restaurant is very good please do try. Atmosphere is great and very clean.

Emergency alarms went off for approx 10 min @ 02:30 in the morning awakening the hotel. Then again the next evening @ approx 17:30. When contacted the front desk all they could say was "we're investigating, but it appears to be an accident."

Staff was courteous, met all my needs, were very accommodating, will definitely stay here again. I had a suite and the TV in the bedroom did not work but when I called to inform them they sent someone right away to take care of it.

This place is modern with wonderful, well decorated rooms that make you feel right at home. I would almost call the parking fees the only negative except that the room was so nice. I've paid much more for half as nice of a room.

Could be a little noisy as noise carries within the large atrium, but atrium bar/area shuts down early enough not to be an issue.

This is a great hotel and should definitely make your list for places to stay in Dallas. Nice room, nice staff, very calming atmosphere. I had very easy access to the Galleria across the street. This hotel is a great value.

Le Meridien Hotel is situated in an ideal location. It offers comfortable facilities, generous rooms, great service and all staff are friendly and efficient.
I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel for my next visit.

Hotel was amazing. The staff was super attentive. I checked in early to make it to an early appointment, not only was the room ready, but the manager gave me a great "bump" in rooms! Best hotel experience in a long time.

I stayed here two nights. The first night, my TV did not work, and they had to send maintenance up to fix it. The next morning, I ordered room service breakfast, which was delivered timely, and was quite good. I left for work around 8:15, and when I arrived back at the hotel at about 5:00, my room had not been cleaned. My breakfast tray was gone, but that was it - bed was not made, garbage not emptied, coffee set-up was not refilled, etc. When I called downstairs, they were very apologetic, but really - how do you manage not to clean a room? Also, the cordless phone receivers did not work - the maintenance guy had to come and fix those too. Thank goodness the phone had a speaker phone, or I would have been with no phone.
Also, be aware if you are traveling on business that there is no traditional desk set-up in the room (at least the kind I had). There is a high (bar height) table, with two uncomfortable wire stools. Very mod looking (along with the rest of the decor), but not made to sit at for a few hours with a laptop.
I wanted to really like this place. The people were marvelous, and very apologetic. However, I did not receive any concession for not having my room cleaned, and I would have liked for the electronics to work without problem.

Lovely stay of five nights at Le Meridien Dallas. Beautiful Hotel lobby, gym, indoor pool, room and restaurant. Friendly waitstaff and bellman. Excellent location, walked to the Galleria Mall and Starbucks everyday.

I booked a Premier suite 5 weeks in advance, showed up at the hotel to be told they were oversold on that room type and downgraded my room but were going to refund the difference in cost. I booked the room for a special occasion and this was uncalled for. I don't care about being refunded $20 for a lower room I wanted the premier suite. You should learn how to run your hotel, if your facing a sell out situation try reaching out to guests a few days or so in advance to see if anyone will take a downgraded room. I know for a fact you oversold these last minute because a 5 days before my stay you still had them on the webpage when I went to see about booking a standard room for a friend. On top of that no one is knowledgeable on anything. I called down to ask them a simple question on what the aux jack on the panel in the wall either went to or play sound from and they were confused and had to send an "engineer". On top of that the engineer had no idea but told me the aux jack on the tv can play sound. So basically there is a mysterious panel on the wall no one knows what it does.

Great hotel. Great location. Great front Desk staff. Good restaurant with great staff. Need to clean better under furniture. Rooms have minor leaks in toilets and shower spray water all over the bathroom.
