The Le Meridien Chiang Mai is as always my home away from home, wether its business or pleasure. The staff is always professional and the new General Manager is a welcomed addition to the team. I am looking forward to his new innovative ideas and concepts that will make this resort even better for years to come.

We chose here because of the name and of the expectations with hotels of this price and name.
Everything and more was what we got - even Cartoon Network. The coffee pot was a welcome addition but no real coffee.
Breakfast was a beautiful array of things to choose from and the staff were even better

After a problematic check-in experience, we had a nice stay at LM Chiang Rai. We got to the hotel at the same day and time that the former GM, Justin, left to work at another SPG property in Bangkok. So, things were a bit chaotic.
Thanks to the help of Executive Assistant Manager, K. Chaiporn, we were able to enjoy the rest of our stay. He made sure that we had a nice celebration for our anniversary.
The Grande Deluxe room was very spacious and comfortable. The balcony was great for reading and relaxing in the morning and evening.
Minor issue: air conditioner temperature control problem.

My family and I booked three rooms for a four nights stay. Le Meredian-Chiang Rai is such a beautiful property. The staff is very frienldly and efficient. The stay was everything we expected and more.
We would definitely recommend this property to friends and family.
The only thing that is not highly rate on our stay is the breakfast buffet. The food was so so for the price we paid. The service of the breakfast buffet was excellent.

This is the second stays in this month.Hotel is very nice,private and very quiet. We enjoyed A Taste of Discovery Lunch at Lastes Recipe with promotion. We found welcome fruits.It was moldy fruit after chew in my room.
It was not up to standard from starwood.
Swimming pool is beautiful but the water was dirty. We found small hair very much in this pool.

Headed over to the Le Meridien Chiang Rai for a short trip in January. We were at the resort for 4 days/3 nights and it was so brilliant that we decided to stay in most of the time!
We stayed in the Grand Deluxe rooms and we loved it! Situated on its own block at the far end of the resort, it overlooks the pool, river and is just a short hop away from the Pavarti spa. The rooms are brilliantly designed as well!
While we were there, we almost ate exclusively at the hotel - which has a wide range of food options, all being pretty good. The spa is also very good as well with private alcoves and rooms.
All in all - truly five stars!

wow what a property! I was only initially going to be here for a few days but ended up staying for 2 weeks b/c it was so comfortable. I was upgraded to the grand suite. Had a great view of the pool and the balcony was terrific. The staff were super friendly and I got to know quite a few of them while I was there. One thing to note is that it is trek from the center of town so you should rent a motorbike. That should cost about 200-250BAHT / DAY for a nice shiny new bike. I learned to ride while I was there and it made my life much more interesting.
The breakfast is also good if not a bit pricey but hey if you're on vaca splurge a little.
