- non-smoking room full of smell of smoke
- hotel staff forgot to input my stay at nights to my membership, the record show me check in and check out at same date 2/24/2014. Which in fact I stayed 4 days, however only one day been captured.

This new hotel is nice and comfortable. What a nice surprise to see such a modern and stylish hotel in Zhengzhou! Friendly staff and good SPG recognition (room upgrade to platinum member). I will come back when in Zhengzhou again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by HENANTIZEN the most spacious room in my SPG staying
I was upgraded from a standard double bed room to a business double bed at checkin because of my Gold SPG membership. When I was told that the room will offer more space for 2 guests, I doubted: Yeah, right, it's not a suite, how much more room it might offer. I was really surprised when I entred the room. It IS spacious. It has around 90 m2. I spent the night with my sister very relaxed in the room.

Just back from a weekend getaway using Le Meridien as my base while I explored the area what a wonderful oasis it is so new an just perfect in everyway. The staff couldn't help me enough I the bathroom was spectacular. resturant choices were also very good. I used the executive club lounge the afternoon tea was worth the extra cost. All the staff have a higher than excepted English which was a surprise but help my stay. Zhengzhou is a great base to explore Henam provience

Hotel arranged a room facing the city instead of the main street, less noise coming up and that was good.
However, the furniture or the room decoration material kept making some cracking noise during the night...not a good sleep as well. Checked with my other workmates, they felt the same way.
The shower room did not take all the water timely, the water almost covered my feet and looks like it was going to be a big tub. And then the water flow to the rest room, I happened to leave my jeans and socks on the ground in the rest room, they were all wet...
No recognition of the SPG until I show them the card. It could be understandable If it was the 1st time, but this is the 2nd time, just unbelievable.

The hotel staffs are generally very welcoming, and has created s lot of conveniences such as quick check-out for frequent stayers.
Hotel lounge has a good view of the city, and their service is good, and personal. Lounge staff always recognises and provides a warmly welcome.
Facility wise the hotel has all it needed to be a 5-star hotel. Just that the quality of services at certain facilities (e.g. gym and swimming pool) still need to be improved.

I am a big fan or LeMeridien. This is my first time in ZZ. The room was good, but I did not get the same SPG recognition - first time I was on a lower floor and a regular room (always got a junior suite).
Recommend more English speaking staff even on the phone.
Also need more vegetarian options and restaurants either in the hotel or nearby.
Gym is good, but recommend adding a hot tub near the pool and a massage place.

General speaking, the staffs are very helpful, the facilities are great. I like the coffee coupon card in the room that gave me an exceptional experience in the lobby lounge. The live jazz band was great too.
