If it it a motel, I would like give score 100, but it's Le Meridien, only 70. Le Meridien should be a luxury hotel but this hotel is disappinting
The good things:
Velvet parking is good, and the stuff is very helpful and nice. The air conditioner is quiet. Beds and comforters are in good conditions.
The bad things:
The front desk stuff named Carter didn't smile at all and she didn't say "thank you ", or "you are welcome". The bathtub is so dirty. The telephone didn't work at all. The room service menu is just some pieces of paper stapled. The housekeepers yielded in the hallway in the morning. The sound isolation is terrible that I can hear the neighbor's tv sound. Water pressure in the bathroom sink was really low.

This hotel was perfect for my most recent trip to Boston. First and foremost, my request for a late checkout in advance was honored. Second, all the staff were tremendous, from the Bellman to the Desk to the Restaurant. My compliments especially to Mr. Gose (I know I've flubbed his name, he was on duty on Sunday night) and Nenad, for accomodating a print job. The hotel is a beautiful property, the room was extremely comfortable, is in easy proximity to the Red Line T, I had multiple wakeup calls, room service breakfast was delicious, dinner was delicious, especially the Eclairs, and I was ready to go into Boston on Monday Morning. The only thing I'd do differently are more pillows, but that's on me. I hope to return to this property soon!

Rated 3 out of 5 by LJasa Please fix the AC in the rooms
I have been to this hotel 3 times in 2 months and will stay there in the future due to proximity to my work site. The AC is so loud that I don't get a good nights sleep. I have been told that the hotel is aware of the situation. I would have preferred fixing/updating AC units in rooms before remodeling the lobby. For the room price, the AC issues are not excusable.

The front desk staff were more like concierge than front desk. I want to especially thank Vany. We arrived on a 90+ degree day and were instantly offered water. Parking is very convenient and affordable at the hotel. However, when I had a problem with swiping my hotel pass, Vany left the front desk to walk down the street to help me. I am a sabbath observer and the staff were all wonderful and proactive in helping us with this.
We found having a major supermarket in an adjacent building to be helpful.
The location of the hotel in a park like setting at the north end of the MIT campus and only a short walk to Mass Ave was very convenient.
The hotel rooms were very comfortable and the maids staff very helpful.
This is an extremely well run hotel.
I would definitely stay there again.

Great location in Cambridge, walking distance to MIT, Kendall Sq. easy access to T gets you anywhere in town.
Superb staff, very helpful and knowledgeable. An error made with room service was handled very professionally, personally, and above expectations.
Le Meridien Cambridge has always been a favorite hotel of ours in Boston area, this stay the staff went above and beyond.

This is a great hotel in a fabulous location - right next to MIT and an easy walk to Harvard. Great restaurants and night life. We had our two daughters with us, both of whom are recent college graduates, and we all had a great time.

A few missteps - I put the door hanger out for them not to clean my room, but they did and then left me no washcloths. Air conditioner very noisy so poor sleep experience. Bathroom with inadequate lighting. However, staff very nice and helpful and welcoming. Our meeting experience was excellent. Food very good
