Rated 5 out of 5 by Great location and wonderful staff! We stayed at this hotel for a recent college trip to the Boston area. The rooms were great and really clean. Breakfast at the restaurant was a perfect way to start a busy day. The staff was extremely professional. Will stay at Le Meridien next time we are in Boston. July 9, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good Place to Stay in Central Cambridge This hotel has good overall location in Cambridge with several restaurants and markets nearby. It is next to MIT and a 10-15 min drive can get you to central Boston. The hotel has a well-designed lobby with enough space to sit and relax. The size of the room was decent but the bathroom was quite small. The staff at this hotel were very responsive and helped us out calling the taxi for us. I enjoyed my stay at this Le Méridien. Rated 2 out of 5 by Room Reassigned to Someone Else I was staying at this hotel for one night, and checked in with my elderly uncle and aunt in a large 2 queen bed room at around 3 pm on the arrival date. We dropped off our luggage in the room and went out and came back after dinner at around 9:30 pm. On swiping our key card, we realized that there was another guest who had been assigned that room -- he had just entered the room a minute earlier, and was bewildered to see our luggage there! This other guest was very cordial and had called the reception staff who came and saw our valid keycard with the room number written, and apologized. The other gentleman, who was also visibly frustrated left with the staff member. A few minutes later, the reception staff called the room and asked me my full name and spoke to me in a very accusatory tone, as if it was mistake on *my* part, and I had checked into a wrong room! He told me that he had me booked in another room, while clearly the mistake was on their part. He then hung up and said that he will take care of the situation. Never in my many years of travel, I have encountered a situation like this, and I find it unacceptable that a hotel with such high tariff makes such an inexcusable mistake while checking in their guests. Rated 2 out of 5 by No real effort to retrieve our forgotten item!! We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights with our 1 year old, forgot to pack her hat which was left on the table when we checked out. We called the hotel several times the next day, but the hotel was very reluctant to get back to us about our lost item, nor did they put in any effort to search it! I've stayed at many SPG hotel in the world and am a life-time Gold member, never encountered anything like this before, even when we left 9 dollars in the room as tips! June 4, 2016

Rated 5 out of 5 by Second Outstanding Boston Business Stay I stayed here in December for business-and when the same business recalled me to Boston, I stayed here again on Cash and Points. The hotel remains outstanding-I note that the business center giving 30 minutes free on the laptop and free printing for guests is AWESOME! My requests for extra towels, a high floor, and extra pillows were all honored. I felt like I was wonderfully nestled in the extra pillows. Room service breakfast was perfectly timed, I appreciated how Nenad recognized me again, and how our request for a late checkout was honored once again! I shined in Boston again. I highly endorse this property for business travel to Boston, the parking is a tad steep, but, Central Square is a great neighborhood (we had some delicious dumplings right across Sidney Street), the Red Line T is right there, and it is easy to reach from the Massachusetts Turnpike.
