Rated 2 out of 5 by far from a five star hotel I stay here for five nights with my wife , I am a platinum menber of SPG , but they treated me as a normal guest , aft I negociated with them , they agreed to upgrade me to a better room , here's normal rooms are small and dark , even they call it suit ?????????? only one place for dinner ,if you want to enjoy a holiday in a five star hotel , it is not a right choice .They agree to give me a cup of drinks in the bar during my whole stay for free , but if my wife want to drink something with me ,I have to pay , very smart idea , it is really a buy one and get one free .so I gave up this generous gift , I don't wantt to be treat as a begger , December 13, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing Rooms and Great Service My family and I were celebrating two graduations and settled on Le Meridien in Koh Samui (6 nights). The property itself was beautiful, with an open layout and Feng Shui inspired design. Walking between rooms and the various facilities felt like walking through a quaint village with winding roads, water, meticulous landscaping, and friendly faces everywhere. Upon arrival at the rooms, the fresh graduates were greeted by balloons and congratulatory notes written by hand from a dozen staff members - a great personal touch!! We were given a complementary upgrade to pool access suites, which included large rooms, even larger bathrooms, and an outdoor verandah which had access to a private pool. Overall, the rooms were excellent. That said, we did find big cockroaches in our bathrooms on a couple of occasions. The staff responded quickly and sprayed frequently afterwards and, given the location and how tough it is to get rid of roaches in these kinds of places, I don't count it against the hotel specifically. Service in general was also very good, the staff were prompt and responsive to any requests we had, ranging from extra towels to a bag of uncooked rice to stick a phone in after it had been dropped in the pool! The Assistant Manager, Botan, deserves special mention here - she went out of her way to ensure that we enjoyed our stay, greeted us with a smile each morning at breakfast, and was very accommodating as far as bookings, inquiries, and special requests were concerned. We had a great time at Le Meridien, and would definitely recommend it to anyone trying to get away, whether for a couple of days or a couple of weeks! July 7, 2016

Rated 5 out of 5 by Paradise One of the few hotels/resorts that offered beyond my expectations. Luxury amongst simplicity and serenity, attention to details and a true oasis to detox the body, mind and soul. Ably led by its dynamic GM the staff and members of this institution extend professional hospitality with humane touch and care. It is a pleasure to experience service at the raised level and I thank each one at Le Meridien Koh Samui for a landmark experience of my life that has ensured that I return to it sometime in the near future. Rated 3 out of 5 by Expectations exceeded reality Poor expectation management. Room not ready, bags not delivered by airline. Staff told us it would be 6 hours until we could have either. As such, my wife spent $120 on a bathing suit she didn't like or want, but needed. Room and bags were ready before we finished 1st drink. Then it was the wrong room. Anger followed. Additionally, I understand being in another country, but the majority of the guests needed english speaking assistance. I asked where the bathroom/toilet/restroom was and was met with a blank stare. Unacceptable. Overall I would not go back. Worst SPG experience I have ever had. April 26, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by There is still heaven on earth. Someone like to go to a place like heaven, calm, quite, loved and warm with an additional beautiful beach ? Stop by at this hotel. Beside the breakfast this is a 100%. Really nothing to complain even if you wanted to try really hard. Now think, how many times do u ever had such an experience. :). A must is the officer on duty at the front desk. Mrs Bo tan. Not sure if she can read peoples mind but she did surely read mine. Before I raised a request she walked towards me and once I mentioned it to her, she always confirmed with. " already done Sir " or " consider it done ". I have never ever had this such a prompt action anywhere. Many thanks again to that lady. March 23, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by One of the best SPG Hotels In the past nine Years i have stayed 653 Nights with SPG. This here is one of the best Starwood Ressorts i have been. Perfect Food, great Beach (i can´t understand what other People have to complain about), clear Water, very nice and very, very clean Rooms. The Staff likes to work there, everybody smiles. Recognition was good (Upgrade to Pool-Access), SPG Plats receive two free Drinks per Day. March 14, 2016
