I stay here for five nights with my wife , I am a platinum menber of SPG , but they treated me as a normal guest , aft I negociated with them , they agreed to upgrade me to a better room , here's normal rooms are small and dark , even they call it suit ?????????? only one place for dinner ,if you want to enjoy a holiday in a five star hotel , it is not a right choice .They agree to give me a cup of drinks in the bar during my whole stay for free , but if my wife want to drink something with me ,I have to pay , very smart idea , it is really a buy one and get one free .so I gave up this generous gift , I don't wantt to be treat as a begger ,

The wonderful staff are what really make this property special. We were made to feel like family from arrival to departure. We enjoyed the coziness of the resort as it made it easy to meet and make new friends. The nightly ritual and free shuttle to Cheweng and Lamai were a very nice touch as were the ever changing daily activities. There is only one restaurant on site but they had no problem cooking anything we requested regardless if it was on the menu or not. We also took advantage of the free kayaks and that was great. Kudo's to Tina (GM) and here charming, well trained and always available staff.

Our stay here was excellent. The room was one of the most unique places I have ever experienced. Our bathroom was an indoor/outdoor set-up that was really cool. The staff was incredible and met all of our requests with grace and kindness. The hotel is located right on the water and had many restaurants near by for a change of scene. Even though the hotel had many guests it still felt like you were the only ones at the facility. My wife loved the spa and said the massage was out of this world. Our maid service was amazing and they did so many small things to make the stay that much better. We had a wonderful time.

The taste level of the hotel is excellent. The restaurant has a nice setting in front of the sea. The General Manager carefully and discreetly oversees the staff, to ensure a smooth and attentive service, at all times.
The quality of the bed (superior to the "heavenly" type) and the quietness ensures you perfect nights.
The outside bath tub of the villas is a unique experience.
Meet the restaurant manager as you will enjoy his unique, efficient and entertaining personality.

We loved this hotel! It is small and intimate. The staff is very attentive. Very well run and overseen by the lovely and omnipresent lady that manages the hotel.
The pool villa is exceptional! Made me not want to leave the room. Also an excellent breakfast buffet including dainty and delicious Thai specialties.

I’d stayed here late Jan 2012 with my family and although it is a very nice hotel it is shame how they maintain the beach, it was very dirty every day, I saw nobody from the hotel cleaning the beach area during my 7 days stay. We end up pick up bottles and rubbish in several occasions.
The quality of the food was excellent but very simple, neither at the restaurant or room service you can find many options, after a few days it became boring, but you have nice places to eat nearby.
Overall it was a very nice stay but just wish they pay more attention on the beach.

Just spent 3 days at the hotel with my girlfriend. As an SPG platinum member I was treated exceptionally well. While the staff was absolutely amazing one particular event is worth noting: my girlfriend and I had a late night flight the day we checked out. After spending the day on a tour, we returned to the hotel (even though we had already checked out) with several hours before our flight. Tina, the fantastic GM, gave us a room to use to shower and rest before our flights. It was an amazing gesture that was very very much appreciated and really turned a less than ideal situation into a great one. That's just one example of how far the staff will go to make your stay a good one (Bennie, who works at the front desk, also deserves a special mention for being incredibly kind and helpful!). Definitely check out this hotel!!

We recently visited Koh Samui to celebrate my birthday. We had a fantastic time. The reception we received at Le Meridien was amazing. The check in staff recognised that it would be my birthday within a few days and made a note of it. When I arrived at breakfast on my birthday all the staff wished me a happy birthday. I am a seasoned traveller, so small touches like this make all the difference. All thoughout our stay (9 days in total) we were greeted by name. Nothing was too much trouble, the staff at breakfast even booked dinner reservations for us at different locations throughout the island.
I would thoroughly recommend Le Meridien Koh Samui.
