Rated 5 out of 5 by Great DC Area Property I recently completed a one night stay at this property and on the whole was very satisfied. Property is consistent with the LM style and is modern and tastefully decorated. Staff is friendly and eager to please guests. Newly renovated guests rooms are well appointed and I quite enjoy the Malin + Goetz amenities. I will definitely be back! August 27, 2016

Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic Room and Outstanding Staff I was only here for about 10 hours but the staff were impeccable. I have a Starwood Preferred Guest Plus Stauts. Because this is an in between status not listed on the website (which should be fixed in general), I have read that many hotel staff do not recognize it immediately. When I arrived at this hotel, they had already given me a room upgrade, without me having to ask for it as part of my benefits. On top of that the staff were extremely fun and inviting and some of the most delightful to deal with that I have encountered. I am not a fan of DC but I would come back just to experience the quality of staying here again! And of course the room itself was gorgeous and comfortable. June 26, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by No Room at the Inn Children with no place to sleep. Each year I book a family vacation for myself, brother and his family, and my parents. All total we are 8 people. I am a faithful Starwood loyalist with over 100,000 points and gold/platinum status each year. This year my mother wanted to see DC because she had not been since she was a child. I book us at the Le Meridien, Arlington with more than 1 weeks’ notice. I was careful to get three rooms, 1 king and two with double queens. I confirmed it twice in the week prior to the trip. We arrived at the Le Meridien, Arlington at 10 pm to find that they could not accommodate my room types for the two double queens. They attempted to make the best of it by giving us a sofa bed but we still had one child that was on the floor or sleeping with their parents. Now, I understand mistakes happen but why not call me or email me during the day/week prior and tell me of the conflict? I could have arranged rooms at any of the other myriad Starwood properties in the DC area. But at 10 pm with tired parents and children it is too late to make those changes. The hotel offered to comp one room one night and move my guests when a room is available. I appreciate their effort but that takes time out of our limited vacation and requires repacking a family. No thanks. I complained to Starwood and they are working on a resolution. I have my fingers crossed that they will do the right thing. If so I and my company will continue to be Starwood customers. Having stayed at the Le Meridien many times I can say it is a nice hotel with a great location and a normally flawless reception. Sometimes even the best get it wrong but how they recover is the measure of customer appreciation. June 26, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Disappointed with my stay I stayed at this hotel two weeks ago and left feeling disappointed with my stay. When I arrived at my room I realized that there was a problem with my TV. As a business traveler I was traveling by myself and had planned to resign myself to my room to finish work and watch some TV. When I realized it wasn't working properly I called down to the desk and was informed that there were no other rooms available and that they would send an engineer to my room. The engineer arrived and was unable to fix the problem after several attempts. I called down to the front desk once again and they explained that there was nothing more that they could do. They offered me 2,000 starpoints for the inconvenience but there was nothing done to rectify the situation for my stay. I am not one to complain, but wanted to share this experience so that it can potentially be diverted for someone else in the future. June 24, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best business trip ever I can't begin to tell you how valuable the kind services of the staff of the Le Meridien Arlington were to me during my week of work travel in D.C. I arrived to the desk where Karen assisted in setting up my room just the way I'd like it for the week. She was very accommodating in her services. Then I met the night staff of Lailani and Muhammed. These guys have such great energy! I'm in the middle of writing a thesis, working, traveling etc. and not getting much sleep. Lailani was sure to bring me coffee or whatever I requested even if it was in strange hours. She was such a pleasure to speak with during my stressful evenings and mornings of working. Her services really saved me this week. And then Trudy was always super helpful and friendly in the early evenings. I've never met such a kind staff as the one at the Le Meridien Arlington, and the room was also a delightful space to spend the week. June 9, 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Needs work I reserved a room at he Le Meriden Arlington for a night out with my wife for our 21 wedding anniversary. We arrived to have no door personnel to unload vehicle. After backing up entrance waiting the car valet went and found the door staff and we were able to get vehicle unloaded. Best part of stay was the Young lady who checked us in and the Bar tender. Both were very professional and welcoming. I had asked for dinner reservation at Amuse to arrive and find out that the bar and restaurant were shut down for wedding. A push bar was set up in the lobby for guest with a cash only sign. The bartender tried his best with confused guest who had no idea that the hotel service were not available to them. We would have made other arrangements if we were informed of the wedding. Who ever the GM is should take a trip to Stuttgart Germany Le Meriden and learn how service should work. It was very disappointing and confusing. Arlington is one of the top five wealthiest places in the country. Not the level of service any guest would expect in any SPG hotel anywhere. Sorry, but I guess I owe my wife a do over somewhere in the world. May 5, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by TERRIBLE. And I never complain about a hotel. I was given a tiny room with a tiny bathroom (with one of those sinks that is so small the water splashes on your feet when you wash your hands). The room is one of their "quiet corner" rooms but the noise from the street is incredible. The room service food and overall service experience was so bad... This place is by far the worst Starwood hotel I have ever experienced, given the cost. April 13, 2016
