This was the second SPG hotel I've booked within the last two weeks and this was by far the best! My friend and I drove from Austin, Texas for my 50th birthday because I had never been to Atlanta and I'm glad I chose this hotel for my milestone celebration. I didn't do much but just the experience alone was great.

I was at this property for a total of 5 night and enjoyed it greatly. The beds were very comfortable, the room was very well cleaned and the staff was attentive and responsive. When visiting the Atlanta Perimeter I believe you would be hard pressed to find a better hotel. The shuttle could be a little more responsive on pick-ups, and the bar was a little pricey, but the good outweighed the bad greatly in this hotel. Thanks you for a great week.

Hands down the experience that I had at Le Meridian was one of the best that I have in a while. In addition to the hotel being immaculate from the grounds to the décor (it even smelled great through the entire facility), the CUSTOMER SERVICE was OUTSTANDING. I have to give a personal shout out to a young lady by the name of Cherika. I hope I spelled her name right. She was just so pleasant and accommodating and helpful in all ways. All of the staff was but she was just a stand out.
The location is perfect. Close to shopping and fine dining. Everything anyone would need is a walk away.
This will definitely be my first place of choice whenever I visit the area.

As I checked in, someone named Yasmin assisted me. Everything was fine, until I asked if there was a sports bar nearby (I wanted to watch the National Championship as my alma mater was playing). She named a sports bar, but I couldn't quite understand what she was saying it was called (I asked her to spell it for me so I could google it). She has quite an accent. After the first or second time I asked her tone became sharper. At the end, what she told me (Linzy) actually ended up being incorrect.
I didn't think much of it then, and it wasn't much of a deal. Next, though, when I went to my room, it was filled with smoke. I went downstairs, and requested a room that wasn't so. Someone else helped me, and she was perfectly accommodating.
The next day, though, I had some more problems. First, when I got back to my room, everything was cleaned. I realized then that Yasmin must have forgotten to ask me about green choice, because I ALWAYS say yes to it.
Then, when i went down to ask her, she was even more snappy. I asked her to gift me the points that were not added since she did not ask me if I wanted it, and she was quite rude in how she responded. I then also asked if a iPhone dock/speaker was available that was not only compatible with iPhone 4, as I had forgotten my charger and really could have used the charge. I had to repeat myself several times to get across what I needed, and by the last time Yasmin had gotten pretty rude.
I'm not saying she's a horrible person or anything, but for a higher end luxury hotel I expect some semblance of civility and customer service... Some patience. I've worked in customer service, and the key is patience. She had little, and it was unpleasant, and overall significantly worsened my experience.
The burgers are fantastic, though. As are the garlic Parmesan fries. A saving grace, I suppose.

This is the third time I have stayed at the Le Meridien in the Perimeter area of Atlanta. The service and accommodations are consistently great. The self parking is convenient, there is a greeting from every hotel employee that you encounter, and the room is spotless, stylish and very comfortable. As with every other Starwood property where we have stayed, the bed is excellent, so you always sleep well. Well done!

While one of the beds in the room was less comfortable than desired, I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. We had a miscommunication regarding the green choice, and as a result, our room was not cleaned when I returned to the room at 11 pm. I called the front desk, and up came the kindest individual I have met in a while, Sabrina. We were having allergy problems, and Sabrina emptied the trash (full of gross tissues), brought extra tissues and waters, and changed the towels with exceptional speed and kindness. The next day, I ran into her while she was in the lobby, and she instantly asked if we were feeling better and how else she could help. It was a wonderful surprise to meet Sabrina during our stay!

I normally stay here with my boyfriend when I come to Atlanta. He booked a room for my sister and I for a night in Atlanta because he,was out of town working and would not be able to join us. The problem was when I checked in I had 2 reservations and neither was the prepaid reservation he booked. Jasmine at the front desk didn't seem to know how to help. The manager found the reservation and said I would need to leave my card for incidentals. No problem. Later after checking my account, I was charged for the room and it was an upcharge. My boyfriend's card was also charged 2 more times making the total of the room over $700 for one night. As of right now the charge on my card has been reversed but it was an inconvenience to have that money temporarily taken of my account. It kind of spoiled my night. My boyfriend is still working on fixing his account and charges. I still really love this hotel but this has left a sour taste in my mouth.
