Staying in hotels over 150 nights a year I have become critical of comfort and service. This hotel does an outstanding job! Everyone in the property goes above and beyond. The restaurant also has outstanding food.

This hotel is now my place to stay in Tampa. the other SPG hotels are nice but the service, location, and facilities are amazing. Close enough to walk to the convention centre, arena, restaurants and pubs but far enough from the late night scene. Brent Scarbro and his team were so good to us during the stay. Would highly recommend this hotel for business and fun. Pool was great (small but perfect for a quick cool off) and the restaurant had great options.

Going to conferences always has the slightly stressful process of hotel choice: centrally located? how much? best deal? what do I get? If you're visiting Tampa, let me make it easy: Le Meridien. Originally a municipal building--post office plus court house--the interiors have been renovated into contemporary comfort while still leaving the vestiges of old-school symbolic justice. The gray and white granite walls gleam while the original wooden moldings and doors have a polished, official shine. If it still has trappings of the turn-of-the-century (19th not the 20th), the renovations have brought it up to date and offer a sense of unstuffy glamor. One might imagine our Supreme Court justices sitting by the pool sipping Cosmopolitans, or Judge Judy meandering up to Bizou Brasserie in her sassiest Gaultier.
Yet, it's the hotel staff who made this visit spectacular. From the time that Aileen greeted us at check-in until Jason allowed us a slightly later check-out (b/c we had a late flight), we always felt pampered. While we had to wait for our room upon our very early arrival, Ahm, the daytime bartender made us giggle and, thereafter, greeted us with appropriate perkiness. Justin, who served at the Bizou coffee counter, waited tables, and ran room service always did so with a smile. Ben, another bartender and Tampite, informed us about the city and kept us entertained. Hotel staff can make or break a trip; those at Le Meridien definitely made our vacation an extra sunny occasion, which says something in Tampa.

We chose this place since it was made into a hotel from a courthouse in downtown Tampa FL. It was done with meticulous workmanship. Loved the room and the modern look!! Great services and will definitely be back!!

We came to Tampa to see our Toronto Maple Leafs battle the Tampa Bay Lightning. We had an excellent experience from when we arrived thru our entire stay. Super helpful staff, and friendly. They helped us get around town, and the in-house French bakery is a real gem. The location is walking distance to Amalie Arena and cool little restaurants. We couldn't have had a better experience. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Tampa.

We are travelling for work and have had a few unique requests that were emailed to the manager (Brent Scarbro) and his team. These requests were responded to quickly and professionally. Where they could help, they did. Where there were no on site solutions they made recommendations and provided alternatives. We've stayed at other SPG properties in Tampa and they did not come with this level of service. We look forward to our stay and are thankful that the hotel has been so accommodating. We all get the "we look forward to your stay" emails but it's nice to know that the team cares before we actually get there. Brent and his team have exceeded our expectations even before we stepped into the hotel.
