Rated 5 out of 5 by luxury12 Great Hotel
Excellent hotel in downtown Tampa. Food and Beverage is a work in progress but I am confident they will figure it out. Renovation of the old Tampa Court house was extremely well done. Only true negative is location of the pool which does not allow for many hours of sunlight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Outerspace Excellent Hotel, Comfortable Rooms, Awesome Customer Experience
Our stay at this excellent hotel is for sure one of our memorable stay experience ever. The awesome customer service, comfortably and beautifully architected modern rooms and the central location made our stay very exciting and we enjoyed every moment of the pleasant atmosphere. The reception was excellent and we felt very secure and happy staying at this hotel. The hotel offers bus service to destinations in the city and was perfectly organized and readily made available. We used the bus service on several occasions and the bus driver was very informative and provided insights into happenings in the city. Overall, we’re very happy to have stayed at this hotel and will certainly choose this hotel during our next trip to Tampa. Great place to be.

AMAZING! When I made the reservations, approximately 2-3 weeks in advance, the rep asked if we were celebrating a special occasion which we were, our 20th wedding anniversary. She said that she would note this on our reservation. One week prior to our reservation, I was contacted by the concierge at the LeMeridien who was very friendly and had excitement in her voice and advised that she was calling to discuss our anniversary. I was completely “WOWED at this point as I have never in all my years of travel been contacted by a concierge. (I travel regularly for business and pleasure). She asked if we liked champagne or wine; roses or carnations; chocolate or vanilla éclairs and/or chocolate covered strawberries. Upon our arrival to the LeMeridien, the valet was very friendly and welcomed us with a smile. The front desk clerk was very courteous, friendly and professional and provided us with information/direction regarding all the hotel amenities. So of course, by now, I am on “cloud nine”. But that was not the “icing on the cake”….when we entered the room, the champagne was waiting on ice; the roses were pink and yellow and so pretty; the éclairs and chocolate covered strawberries were delicious and displayed oh so beautifully; everything that the concierge asked me pre-visit, was in the room!!!!! Now about the hotel room…..TEN!!!....The room was HUGE!!!! My husband loved the grey/masculine colors; the ceilings were extremely high; the bathroom was huge; there was even a hallway entrance to the room; the view of downtown high rise buildings from the hotel room was awesome; the room was very chic, contemporary and modern! The LeMeridien Tampa will be my choice of hotel whenever in the Tampa area!!!!! AWESOME!!!! Service–10; Hotel Room-10. Highly recommend this hotel!!!!! One more thing, the hotel location was excellent….we were minutes from all of our planned activities…..Best trip ever for a short weekend!!! Location-10!

Rated 5 out of 5 by TJMAZZ Quiet room, comfort and very friendly staff
Quiet room, comfort and very friendly staff.
Nice and free shuttle service within 2 mile radius and it could cover to Tampa convention center.
Also, if you are traveling with little child, I recommend to visit the Glazer Childrens Museum. Just 4 blocks away walking distances, It was a perfect place for my 3 year old girl.
The food at Bizou is great (little bit pricey) and there are great options for food (great pizza at Eddie and Sam's and pita at Paninoteca etc) near the hotel.

great hotel - floors still felt like a courthouse which was a bit stale and cold feeling. With high ceilings and nothing much covering the walls, the hallways were loud - could hear people walking, talking, doors opening, etc... pool was a bit disappointing - more like a large hot tub. Julie at the front desk was awesome - went above and beyond. Food/bar was good but the snacks at the cafe were lousy. Good location though downtown Tampa doesnt offer much.

I visited Le Meridien Tampa for training and had the best experience ever. The week was very hectic but the staff was incredible. Starting with check in until departing. I wanted to thank all the staff for the excellent customer service they provided. I will be back when in Tampa & recommend this hotel to all Tampa bound travelers!!
Front desk staff was exceptional, especially Dan, Stephen, & Dennis. Food & Beverage was also outstanding, Ben & Mr. Phil!!

Le Meridien Tampa is a unique, luxurious and comfortable property, well located in downtown Tampa. The staff is extremely welcoming and professional and knowledgable about the history of the building.
The hotel was formerly the Federal Courthouse, built nearly 100 years ago. Many of the features of the courthouse can be seen, including wide marble hallways, marble columns out front and high ceilings, along with lots of oak, brass and some repurposed historic furniture.
Kudos to the developer and City of Tampa for repurposing this beautiful historic building.
The rooms are comfortable and luxurious. The public areas and restaurant are well done. Highly recommended.
