I expect the Le Meridien to be a quality hotel, however, when I asked for dry cleaning on a holiday, the answer from the front desk was "sorry we don't have service today." A top notch hotel would find a way, even if it was more expensive for the guest due to the holiday request. I guess they don't clean rooms on the holiday either, as when I returned to my room after the end of a very long day, I found the roll-away bed had been removed as I had requested that morning, but the room had otherwise been left untouched. Beautiful old hotel with great history, but the management of the staff is just not up to par.

We love this property. It's a beautiful building in uptown Dallas that has been carefully updated with respect for the Art Deco aesthetic. We just spent a night in a corner room with an oversize bathroom which includes a classic bathtub. We had a small seating area and entry vestibule which made the space feel like a small apartment. The staff are great - from Starwood program recognition and benefits to the chocolate cake that room service delivered for my birthday. The bar is very comfortable and the outdoor terrace works well but suffers from the traffic a little. The wine list needs some curation but the small plates that we ordered were very good. It is a fabulous location in the heart of Dallas. Nice job Starwood.

I love this quaint hotel! It is charming in all aspects; from the valet service to room service! Perfect for a weekend getaway! I do wish there were a coffee maker in the room. Other than that, I'm VERY satisfied!

I really enjoyed my stay at the Stoneleigh. The front desk staff was very friendly and made good recommendations about the area. I slept well and had a great workout in the gym the next day. Breakfast was good as well. I was on a business trip, but I actually want to return to this hotel and Uptown on a leisure trip at some point.

Loved this hotel!! Has a Great Modern/Eclectic vibe and is just blocks away from so many great restaurants and bars. Had a GREAT time and will visit again!

We typically stay at W Victory, however we have found our new home at the Stoneleigh! Love the unique and very comfortable rooms. Would love some shades added to the street view windows in the bath and a few more towels, but an amazing experience overall. Looking forward to many more trips here!

My last stay at this hotel was a 3 week stay almost 3 years ago and all I can say is, "What happened?" (apparently new owners)
The re-decoration of lobby and rooms is not inviting, unique or beautiful at all---very cold and institutional looking.
THE DECOR BEFORE WAS CONTEMPORARY BUT VERY ELEGANT AND INVITING. Generally, the hotel 3 years ago had an elegant European atmosphere with well trained and professional staff; now, more like a mid-range hotel/motel with staff to match.
The staff did not have the professional but friendly and helpful attitude or demeanor, as before.
Ex.: When we tried to order a specialty mixed drink at the bar (one that was mixed to perfection multiple times during the previous stay) the female bartender on duty just looked at us stone-faced and said, "We don't have any brandy." Not a smile, apology, or offer of something else or statement of making sure to get some for the next day. It was shocking.
Anyway, I could go on and on with misses from staff and hotel, but to find this elegant and beautiful older hotel to hit rock bottom was very unsettling and disappointing; there really wasn't anything outstanding or very pleasant about our 2 day experience, and we don't plan to go back. Also, because of above issues: VERY OVER-PRICED
